Steve is extremely knowledgeable, professional and approachable. I hired him to evaluate a sick large tree. I then decided to have the tree removed before someone got hurt from falling branches. He removed the tree and did some trimming of my neighbor's trees that were encroaching upon my roof. He returned my call quickly and showed up on time. He's very methodical in his work and his expertise shows. I've hired him before and would hire him again. I highly recommend Lambert Trees.

We've worked with this provider before, for trimming our large trees. This time a very large tree, too close to our house and our neighbors, needed to be removed. He came on time, removed the tree, cleaned up the mess, and did a great job. He always gives practical advice and options that make sense. In this case the tree never should have been planted so close to the house (thanks, prior owner!) and he was willing to work with us to save it, for about the same cost as removal, but agreed that much as we love our trees, removal was best for everyone.

I receive a quick response return call and then was scheduled the next day for them to come out. Removal of the tree prevented any damage to the garage.

Of the companies I spoke with and gave me a quote I felt Lambert Treescapes was the most likely to give me what I was looking for. The result was like the perfect haircut. All the goals had been achieved and It looked great but a fresh cut wasn’t obvious. There were a few larger and longer branches that needed to be removed but I do not miss them.

Company was very responsive in providing an estimate, explaining the work to be performed, and scheduling the work. They did a great job overall. The price was reasonable and work was performed as bid, and did a great job with the clean up.

Mr. Steve Lambert is a true professional and has a passion for what he does. He called and set up an appointment at a time that worked for me, but seemed inconvenient for him, Sunday morning. I appreciate the flexibility. He walked around while we reviewed the trees we needed trimmed. He was attentive and extremely responsive to our needs. He completed the work quickly and did a beautiful job. I could not be happier and will gladly have him back for more proactive trimming in the future. We let things get out of control and he was non-judgmental which I greatly appreciated. If I could provide A+ for each category, I would without hesitation. Thank you, Mr. Lambert!

We have had Steve do work for us in the past so didn't hesitate to call him when we had a tree threatening potential harm to our house and the house next to it. He came out right away, gave us a written estimate for two options, explaining the pros and cons of the options. He performed the service efficiently and cleaned up afterward. I honestly don't know whether his prices are comparable to providers, but we are very comfortable with his services and have no hesitation to recommend him.

two major branches on my mountain ash gave way and cracked under the snow last night. i called steve this morning, and he was able to come by 2 hours later. he removed the branches from the tree and even cut them into manageable pieces for me. he was very kind and gave me an assessment of the tree and what should happen next.

I hired Steve initially for a tree assessment. He was clearly knowledgeable, and very professional, so I also hired Steve to remove some trees, and to help select and plant a new one. I extended the job to include some landscaping in my front yard, and I am very happy with the work they did. He communicated clearly, was punctual, and was very easy to work with.

Steve came out on a Saturday morning to take a look then took the time to come back with a bigger truck to keep one tree from falling further towards the house that same morning. The job was finished to remove that & another tree, prune 4 others, and remove dead sections of our hedge on Monday. The yard is practically spotless. Thanks for a fast and professional job - we'll be in touch after the bees leave the remaining tree!

I worked directly with the owner, Steve Lambert. Steve is a Board-Certified Master Arborist and he knew the names of all 10 trees and made recommendations regarding the right amount of pruning and shaping that would work best for me as well as for the trees. He arrived promptly, I am very happy with his work, and the clean-up afterwards was so thorough I wouldn't have known he had come by except I immediately saw that I had my view back! His pricing was very fair for the amount of work. I will certainly hire Steve again.

Steve Lambert was hired because of his tree knowledge and design capabilities. Our site had a tall fir tree with broad reaching roots that needed protection. We interviewed several companies and found Steve to be the only company we felt confident would not just cut roots that could lead to the tree failing. All the other companies gave bids for installing blocks, but Steve said that large rocks were a better choice for support and he could work around the tree roots. In addition to building the wall he excavated many yards of soil for an additional parking space. Steve is expert in his tree knowledge and takes pride in his work and design. He and his assistant were polite and left the worksite clean every day,

I sent a note to Steve through his website and he responded back early the next day. He was able to come out and inspected the tree in question the same day even though I wasn't available to be on site. He emailed his report, which included a risk assessment of the tree as well as suggested next steps. He was professional, easy to work with, and provided exactly what I expected.

Steve was very knowledgeable about tree management and maintenance. It was clear to me after talking to him for a while that he had a deep academic understanding of this topic. We walked around my property in the rain and he gave me the advise I was looking for. He also pointed out a few things that I had not considered like liability issues. Steve was very punctual and got to work immediately on arrival. He kept me apprised as he was pruning to make sure I was on board with what he was doing. He prunes conservatively with future growth and aesthetics in mind. He also gave me some education on how to better care for my trees in the future and answered any questions I had. In addition, Steve was a very nice person to be around. I will hire him again as my trees need work in the future.

Steve came out promptly and said that the 60' hemlock and the 100' fir needed to be removed. The needles are thinning all over, and he suspected that bark beetles are the cause. He also evaluated several other trees in our yard. He recommended trimming the lower branches of one fir near the house, and cutting some large side branches of a big leaf maple that are structurally weakening the tree. He also noted a large dead fir on a neighbor's property, explained the legal issues, and recommended that we contact the neighbor to get it removed. He wrote a good summary of all his recommendations. Steve said that he no longer does tree removal himself, and recommended a company to do the work. All in all, a very professional and helpful evaluation. We feel confident now about what to do.

Lambert Tree Care is an excellent company who makes and keeps appointments in a timely manner and provides bids as needed to help with budgeting. We highly recommend Steve for his professionalism and care. He has trimmed, pruned, limbed and removed hedges and trees as needed as well as replanted and placed irrigation systems into the landscape in order to promote the growth and health of new plants and trees. He is one of very few Master Arborists in our state and is a valued member of our home maintenance team.
