Steve is a perfectionist, which is what you want when it comes to painting. He and his crew (they’ve been with him a long time!) are competent, professional, and very neat. Can HIGHLY recommend and will use in the future for both inside and outside painting.

Very professional. Extremely organized and neat, pays attention to detail. The workers have been with Landis for a long time and are very nice and do great work. Steve Landis the owner is always in communication with us and his workers each day making sure everything is going smoothly. We had other quotes and some a little cheaper but he does not cut corners and in his initial walk around and quote he is very specific about the kinds of paint and why he is making the specific choices which we did not get from other quotes. Each day they would clean up. He and his workers take pride in there work. He and the workers made excellent suggestions which we appreciated. We trusted them throughout the process and did not have to stay on top of them because of this trust once we saw how they worked. They arrived promptly every day. We were so appreciative of the work that they were doing that we bought them lunch which they vey much appreciated. We are extremely happy with the final result . Exceeded our expectations. I engaged Landis Painting to paint the exterior of my house/garage --and to clean/solid stain my large double deck--because of the excellent exterior paint job they did for me before (which lasted 12 years!). His experienced staff was the exact same crew that painted my house years before—not short time employees. Steve is very meticulous about the paint products he uses and how they are applied, consulting with the manufacturers when needed. Knowing my concern about choosing exterior colors (an expensive choice to get wrong), he recommended an excellent color consultant, who was worth every penny. Steve’s crew was punctual, efficient, and meticulous in sanding, patching, priming and painting my home. When Steve determined that my deck’s original solid stain product was no longer available on the market, he identified the correct alternative product and had it perfectly matched to my deck’s existing color (he went to two paint stores before getting a match to his satisfaction). Steve cares about getting things right and about long durability of the paint products he uses. Happy to answer all my questions about the how and why. (He even did some extra touchups not included in my job quote.) In short, I knew that hiring Landis Painting again was a no-brainer and highly recommend Steve and his team to anyone wanting a professional result.

Steve and his team were punctual, professional and highly meticulous. Every wall and ceiling was prepped, sanded and patched, with the utmost care, before painting. There was a sand-based faux finish throughout the house that we wanted removed. We had consulted with several other painters before selecting Landis Painting, and the others did not know how to handle the faux finish or said it would be time consuming and very expensive to remove. Steve and the team handled it very well, using a special sanding machine that captures the dust so no tarping is required. Steve consulted knowlegeably on other painting issues too, and investigated best products for the specific job at hand (painting fireplace stone and exterior brick). Steve cares about the long term durability of his paint job and wants you to get value for what you pay. He is highly communicative and consultative throughout his team’s time at your home. I would use Landis painting again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them. Full five stars for Steve, Selso and Wilson!!!

I had been power washing the decks and house myself but I am getting older and decided to hire someone to do the job for me. The price was fair and the results were outstanding. I will use Landis for all of my future needs. My power washing days are over.

We were hesitant about bringing a large painting crew into our home because of COVID and were immediately attracted to Steve’s bespoke approach with a small and consistent painting crew (that is vaccinated). Steve and his team did impeccable work at a very reasonable/fair price. The team’s attention to detail, professionalism and adherence to COVID protocols made the experience absolutely fantastic. The room came out beautiful! Steve had seen the original color I picked out and had strongly suggested not to use I it because the room was too small. Steve and his crew did an outstanding job painting the exterior of our home. The prep work was thorough and included repairing window frames and trim as well as sanding our 100+year old siding. Steve went above and beyond, by contacting the window manufacturer when he had a question about properly repairing the trim. The whole process was a pleasure and our house looks beautiful.
