The response time of this company is phenomenal along with the work! They answered my questions promptly & once work began, they kept me updated on the findings that were underground during excavation of the asphalt to ensure my driveway was smooth as possible (as I had a slope) over exceeding my expectations! I highly recommend this family business to everyone. They are truly professional hard workers.

Great to work with Vance and his sons from the start. No issues with scheduling or providing the estimate. Discussed details and questions at length and work was started and completed as advertised. Cleaned up each day as required and provided high quality work. Looks great. Price was in the ballpark of other estimates from reputable professionals. Would definitely hire again for future work.

I am very happy with the work. It did not crack during the winter. Looks beautiful. Sheds water where it should.

All of this took 2-3 days. They showed up early every morning (around 8 AM) and went about their work in a professional manner. The owner stayed late to finish up work on the day they poured the new steps, making sure that all the edges had a nice finish on them and were done "just so" and to his liking. He also showed up on the last day to put a second coat on the resurfacing of the front stoop which now looks brand new as if it had been replaced along with the front steps. I might also add that Mr. Langhorne's estimate was $1,200 lower than that I received from a larger company who, by the way, tried to "upsell" me by asking about replacing the stoop as well, which only really needed to be resurfaced.

Everything went well. We had a miscommunication on the time-frame for the appraisal, but as soon as he got here he was pleasant, measured the work area, addressed my questions and gave me a quote on the spot. This was one of three well-rated companies that I contacted - one only emailed me back once and the other came in at about $800 higher. Note that this work did not include removing old materials that had to be pulled up(old railroad ties and paver stones) but that was not a concern for me. They were able to complete the work within less than a week of my signing the contract, came early on a Monday morning and managed to finish in one day. The team consisted of the owner, his son and a worker, so I felt confident that the work was being done as promised. The patio looks great - basic and what I requested.  They even moved fill dirt and some pavers to cover our drainage pipe to look neater. They let me know that the neighbor's gutter was directing water right into our yard and made attempts to compensate for it. I look forward to enjoying it this summer and would recommend them. <br />

I was going through old receipts and I saw one from Langhorne in 2003 (before I joined Angie's List) and thought I'd comment on what a great job Langhorne did.  After more than a dozen years, the concrete driveway looks new. <br />

<p>Our front steps were unevenly spaced with an almost 10" drop to the first step.  Mr. Langhorne explained how they would bring the steps into code and keep them from separating from the porch again.  His sons arrived on time and completed the job in one day as promised.  Something that was not planned for, but turned out to be unavoidable was the fact that the railing needed to be removed, as the angle was now wrong.  Not to worry a call was made to a guy who could assist with the iron work to replace the hand rail.</p> <p>Caution tape was posted around the steps so no one would walk in wet concrete.  They not only cleaned up our yard but also replaced the grass divots removed before the steps were poured.  We are very satisfied with the work and will definitely use Langhorne Concrete services in the future.</p> <br />

Excellent!  Great to work with.  Completed the job on schedule.  Worked with me to make decisions on how to implement changes as necessary due to on site situation.  Answered all my questions to my satisfaction.  The small crew was great to work with.  Four months after job completion, I can say that I am very satisfied. <br />

I was very impressed with Vince Langhorne. He responded to my call quickly, came out and discussed my needs with me, and gave me a price for the work I requested. His crew showed up on time, removed the old asphalt driveway before I could blink, basically, and had the new driveway poured and finished, all in one day. The work was very much to my satisfaction and I am still very satisfied with the work and the professionalism of Langhorne Concrete. My next door neighbor must have been impressed with it as well as he asked me for the name of number of the company about a month ago to have some work done. I would definately use them again. <br />

The job went wonderfully. We at first had a blacktop driveway, while digging it up, he found two other drives underneath. He ended up having to bring in a lot of extra rock for the support that was not there. Him and his son's were great, they were very neat and worked hard all day long. They always arrived right on time. He even came back and added a seal for free.

Very punctual and professional.  The steps are well proportioned and the posts are just were we wanted them to be.  It was the right solution to our problem.   Over a year later, it still looks like new. <br />

They got the job done and did a very good job.
