And the owner of this company, Gary Rodriguez, hires people, that have no idea what they are doing. Some thing that should’ve been a very simple project, took twice as long because of their mistakes. First, when, putting in my new stainless steel, they scratched it up. I never once saw them, cover it to prevent any type of scratches, while putting it in. The sink had to be taken out and replaced with another one, which took time and energy from me to have to go back and do that at the store. Next, they scratched up the top part of my new hood, I had to call the manufacture just to get that piece, which one to once again cost me more money, because Cosmo stated that, even though it was New, the scratches were not covered under the warranty. When the sink was scratched, initially, the owner wasn’t sure if I did it, or his people did it, despite the fact that I told him it wasn’t me. Luckily, when the hood was scratched, he knew it was his people, because he had just been here to check on things, and saw it was not scratched. never once, did he offer to pay for the new piece that needed to be replaced because of their terrible workmanship. Furthermore, the backsplash that needed to go up the wall a little bit more, looks horrible. The worker did not line the tiles up appropriately, and it looks much different than the rest that was previously done when the house was built. The tiles are the same, the grout is the same, but you can definitely see the workmanship is not the same. Finally on the last two days he hired two individuals that actually knew what they were doing to complete the painting, and the crown molding. This is the only part of the job that looks good. Throughout the whole thing, the owner was very pleasant. Each time I had a complaint, he remained professional, however, towards the end I had really had enough! I was more than happy to get them out of my house. I’m not hard to please at all, and I try to be as nice as possible to them, because I know that once a job is started, many others will not touch it. I would never hire this company again, not even for the simplest jobs. I debated for a while, not to post this only because the owner was very nice, even though he never offered to replace the entire hood because of other areas that they scratched or deducted from the amount owed. Towards the end, he amended my bill to tag on an extra $500 for crown molding work. I never signed to agree to that invoice. Therefore, when my balance was due, I gave him the rest of the amount initially due and refused to give him an extra $500, only because I had to pay for mistakes they made, and they never offered to take that off my bill or give me the money. Not to include all of the aggravation because of watching them ruin things I purchased with my hard earned money. Initially, when they messed up the sink, he wasn’t sure that they could even remove it because it was so difficult to put in according to them. So I told him he either needed to take what I paid for the sink off the bill or they needed to remove it so I could return it. They were able to remove it so that I could return it and get another one. In the process of installing the new sink, they missed something very important which made my dishwasher. Stop working. Sure enough the owner took no responsibility and instead I had to pay another $180 out-of-pocket to get my dishwasher fixed, all for the man to tell me that they forgot to punch out a little plastic piece that allows the water to go into the dishwasher and drain it. Hire them at your own risk, and if you do, make sure that you have someone there watching the whole time that knows what these guys are doing, because I was absolutely clueless to this type of work, but I definitely know what something good looks like and what something horrible looks like. Eventually, I will have to get my hood fixed because of their terrible workmanship. He needs to fire all of his workers, and if he’s any good at this kind of thing, do it himself or hire new people who know what they’re doing with this type of thing.

"Dear Ms [Member Name Removed], This is our first I have witnessed a poor review for the services we had provided. I'm sorry to hear about your poor experience with our service team. As a professional and respected team in the industry, we strive to provide the best possible experience for all our customers, and it is disappointing to learn that we fell short in your case. We take all feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve our services moving forward. Could you please provide more details about what specifically went wrong so we can investigate and address the issue? We are confused by such an ambiguous declaration on our review board. You even selected here in this review that the services were performed. Yet you refused the change order, disappearing on an outstanding balance per our agreement. Our payment terms are set up anticipating the success of every project and we even wait for the client's approval to collect the final payment. There is no merit to your declaration and it seems more like an abandonment of responsability to get out of paying after approving and receiving the services rendered. We value all our clients' business and hope to understand the root of such an confusing accusation. Sincerely, Lars Homes"

I started working with Lars Homes remotely & didn’t know anything about the company. I relied on trust they would do the work requested. Very happy to say they showed up on the day expected and brought a dedicated crew that were the best! They were hard working and did phenomenal work. They showed up, worked sometimes 12 hours days and cleaned up before leaving every day. They were always respectful & represented the company well.
