Stay FAR, FAR away from Jarrod Holden and anyone associated with him. I had done some pretty in depth research when I considered hiring him for our large remodeling project of the address he has listed on this site as his office (which he hasn't been in since Dec 2016). Jarrod started by painting the exterior of the home and never finishing the project. In the meantime was working on an interior room that, in the end, was horrible workmanship. It was obvious that he and his crew don't know how to do remodeling. Jarrod had asked to move into the property while he was remodeling it. We ageeed. Once he moved in almost all of the work stopped. He and his right hand man, Steve, ended up being forced to leave the property and before they left they stole countless items including my daughter's bicycle, the new stove we had for the remodel, a microwave and several other items. They stole tools my husband had been using as he worked on the remodel himself. We found an add on a buy/sell/trade app for our irreplaceable 120 year old Antique brass fireplace screens from the 2 Van Briggle fireplaces in the house. As Jarrod and Steve were being evicted, they spray painted a giant demonic symbol in our son's former bedroom. Jarrod had done a plumbing job for us in our new home and said the job would cost $6000 but when he finished he told us it was considerable more difficult and the total cost would be $12,000. After consulting 3 other plumbers, there was nothing more difficult and the project should have been about $5,000. My husband saw a kitchen remodel they worked on. They hung the upper cabinets upside down and didn't even know they were wrong. I could go on and on and on with stories of his horrible workmanship, unfinished jobs and even worse scamming but I'm tired of typing. I know of 2 other people who have lawsuits against him for work not completed and work paid for and not even started. When Angie's List says they can't, in good faith, recommend this company, they are politely saying this guy is a fast talking ripoff artist and you shouldn't even think of using him. Last we knew, he, Steve and Crystal (the legal owner of the company and his office manager) had moved to Denver to "get a clean slate."

We thought we found a good contractor as these guys were recommended in the Nextdoor app but after we gave them the down payment and material payments, they started to change their tune on what was covered and we were not comfortable starting the project. We tried to resolve things amicably with the proprietors, Jarrod Holden and Crystal Emery, and we had an agreement (verbal and written) with them that they would give us a full refund of our money. But, now several months later they are refusing to honor the written agreement and will not communicate at all with us. We are now having to sue them. We just want to make sure this does not happen to anyone else. We would not recommend this company. Please be very careful.
