Laurie's Landscaping

They did a good job installing the mulch, but the sod quality (first pallet) was not good in my opinion. There was about 25 pieces short, so they brought over someone's disgusting sod that was torn out of someone else's yard. It had crab grass, nut grass and other crap. I'm still working with it. I can't believe 37 years in business and I get this.

Probably the best experience I've ever had from an Angie's List referred vendor. Both Laurie & Ben were responsive, on time, and worked closely with us to insure we were happy with the outcome. The quality of plants and the work done was excellent. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

When I hired Laurie's Landscaping I explained I wanted the vine and a patch of caine removed, which was also overgrown. Two landscapers showed up 2 days later and worked very fast removing the vine and the caine. I was disappointed to discover that only the side of vine on my property was removed, which wouldn't resolve the problem; my neighbor's side of the fence was still covered with vine. The landscaper didn't want to remove the vine from my neighbor's side until we discussed it with Laurie. When I explained to Laurie what the problem was, she charged me an extra $75 (she originally was going to charge me an additional $150, but we renegotiated that down to $75). I never thought I'd have to pay extra for the vine on my neighbor's side given that it was all the same vine.

Measurements for sod were done incorrectly. Vendor ordered a whole pallet more than was needed which I ended up having to pay for.

She initially did some immediate work and she was to come back once a month. We haven't heard from her since including a couple of follow up calls where she didn't even answer her phone. I hope there is no serious problems but not dependable at all. She was paid for her initial visit.

Laurie and her team were great. I called for an estimate, and she called.me back within 2 hours. When I decided to hire her, she scheduled the job for the next morning. Her crew was on time, efficient, and professional. Their cleanup was exceptional. I barely had any sawdust in my yard! I would hire them again and recommend to anyone who needs tree service. Thank you!

Laurie did an exceptional job relandscaping and replacing sod in my yard. She knows her stuff and has a lot of experience and the results show it. She offered suggestions and help design the landscaping. I had her upgrade the plants to larger specimens and the extra cost was worth it. One specimen tree was shocked from being moved and planted in my yard and I contacted her and Laurie responded quickly and she came out to inspect the plant and she stayed on top of the situation. She fine tuned the irrigation system to make sure the new plants and sod were watered correctly. Two months after the install everything looks great. Well done Laurie.

Laurie was extremely punctual. When she came out to give me a quote, she was on time and wrote up the quote immediately and left it with me. It took 2 days from start to finish. Each day she and her crew showed up on time. First day they ripped everything out and the second day they laid sod and adjusted/repaired the sprinkler system. I was very pleased with the work and professionalism. I would definitely hire her again for any landscaping project.

Excellent. Much better than I had any right to expect. Laurie had 8 personnel work for 12 hours the first day and 6 hours the second day. All personnel worked hard without rest breaks. I have 43 years experience as a General Contractor building $1,000,000 and up homes. I have never had any sub-contractor in all my years who has the work ethic of Laurie and her personnel. She went beyond our agreement and performed additional work without additional charge. I will never use anyone else but Laurie

Plants are fine....sod is AWFUL. We don't know what to do now except have someone come and remove it and start over. We are so sad that we spent all this money and it looks terrible. Our friends and neighbors can't believe how poorly it turned out and we can't either.

It's a monthly fee of $160.

It went very well I am pleased particularly with the plant quality and workmanship.

The work they did was good but bad customer service. They had a worker yell at a neighbor of mine and I wasn't told by Laurie. Had to find out by a neighbor and fired then from future lawn work.
