I have always found it difficult to find a good contractor. When I decided to renovate my condo I had extremely high standards that I set for the contractor I was going to hire. I was looking for someone who was extremely skilled at their craft, a good communicator who promptly responded to calls and text messages, and who was trustworthy. I was doubtful I would find someone who checked all of the boxes. However, I was blown away when I met with Jose and his brother George from Chicago Task Remodeling. If you are looking for the best, your search is over. Jose immediately responded to my inquiry about the work I was seeking to have completed. He was very friendly, and it was a breeze to schedule my appointment for my estimate. Jose and George arrived promptly for our appointment. They took time to listen to my needs, carefully reviewed all the areas in which the work was going to be completed and asked very thoughtful questions. It was apparent that they were very knowledgeable and had a wealth of experience. They made me feel at ease and evoked a feeling of confidence. I received an extremely detailed and fair estimate shortly after our meeting which Jose explained to me. I was very impressed and decided to hire Chicago Task Remodeling to renovate my condo. Jose and his crew started working right on schedule. In the weeks before work began we were in constant communication to make sure all of the materials and supplies we needed were ordered. Jose was very responsive any time me or my designer had a question. Before work began Jose and his team prepared my condo by carefully covering all my hardwood floors, cabinets, furniture etc. I was blown away by all the care they took to make sure my condo was properly protected. Once work began it was fun to watch how quickly progress was made. Jose provided me with regular updates and sent me pictures to show their progress. Things went very smoothly but every renovation has some hiccups however, Jose was always on top of things with a solution and my job was even completed ahead of schedule. The pride and craftsmanship that Jose and his team exhibit in everything they do is second to none. They gutted and installed a brand-new bathroom, sound proofed several common walls I share with the condo next door, installed a beautiful backsplash in my kitchen, installed canned lighting in my living and bedroom and under and over cabinet lighting in my kitchen, painted my entire condo from top to bottom, removed carpeting and installed luxury vinyl laminate flooring, and completed many other tasks- all with care and precision. I would absolutely hire Chicago Task Remodeling again, and have already recommended them to several of my friends and family members.

Jose and his team did an amazing job for my bathroom renovation! They are very organized, clean after themselves every day, provide useful insight regarding the project and how things will look, and they are excellent people on top of everything! Wonderful job done under time and budget!! When Jose tells you he likes to start a job and work straight thru to completion- believe him! Finished our bathroom in less than a week! Looks beautiful! Gave good advice, hired good help, and was a complete professional. Will hire him again if the occasion arises.
