The electrician did a great job. He easily found and replaced the fuse that was causing the problem.

The diagnosed and fix it. They they were great. The problem I was having with my heating and air conditioning unit was it wasn't properly grounded and they fixed that for me. They diagnosed it and fixed it so. It was pretty reasonable. So far so good. They were prompt and courteous and competent. They did the job.

Prompt service, excellent quality.

Sparkie from LC Electric came to my home to look for a source of loss of electric power. My husband, who is 83 years old and disabled, and I discovered our garage doors wouldn't open and our porch lights were out. LC Electric contacted me immediately when I put out the request for help. They called to ask me to check the GFIs to be sure that wasn't the problem. They were trying to save me a service call charge. However, I couldn't find the troublesome GFI, so Sparkie came out. He found the problem quickly and even advised my husband on a problem we're having with the garage door. Excellent! <br />

<p>First of all, I checked Angie's List to see which electric companies were listed and their ratings. I saw that LC Electric was rated overall "A" with between 20 and 30 ratings. Their information section was complete with contact information, business description, service area, operating hours, services included, payment options, business partners, trade license information, bonding, insurance and other info which I appreciate. I was disappointed they did not offer a senior discount and I failed to ask anyway.</p> <p>I called LC Electric to see if they installed ceiling fans, which they confirmed they did. I asked when they could do the job and they said the next day. We set a time and they told me who would be doing the work. The day they said they would be there I got a call about 15 minutes before the appointment time saying they would be delayed about 1/2 hour. The technician showed up in 1/2 hour as promised, which I appreciated very much. He introduced himself and checked out the work area. Since I already had the fan, he quoted me $105 labor to install it, which I agreed to. </p> <p>I would have installed it myself, but I have a high ceiling and a short ladder and didn't know anybody with one tall enough to do the job. I did not want to rent one, plus I was a little concerned I might loose my balance that high up trying to handle the fan and hook it up at the same time. I'm not as young as I used to be. </p> <p>It took him an hour to finish the job and clean up after himself. I was impressed that he showed me the blades were a slightly different shade of finish on each side and asked me which side I wanted showing. We looked at the other fans in the house and decided which side matched the other ones. He turned on the fan for me to see and I was quite pleased to see it in operation at last (I had purchased it about a year before and kept putting off installing it). It was perfectly balanced and ran very quiet like the other fans in the house. He explained which wall switch turned on the fan and which one turned on the lights, which I was already familiar with, but nice of him to explain anyway. </p> <p>The final bill was $113.72 with tax. We shook hands and he asked me to remember LC Electric the next time I have a job to do, which I will.</p> <br />

At first, Lee (an owner) was very accommodating and worked well with us on estimates, scheduling, troubleshooting and  payment  for a nearly $5,000 cost of work on overlapping projects. For the most part, service crews were punctual and professional, though we had to jump in and get Lee to change some of their plans to put conduits in awkward places, attach other conduits to walls instead of fascia outdoors, etc. We realized the house is old and the projects at times were challenging. Certain complications arose that involved extra time or parts, and we appreciated Lee's willingness to stick with his commitments. <br /> Some months ago, after repeated tripping of a kitchen circuit-breaker, Lee came out once and essentially told us he couldn't figure out why this intermittent problem was continuing after the upgrades (we did not replace all the wiring in the attic, as that would have been cost-prohibitive). At that time he said that, due to overloading, a new circuit to the kitchen might be needed, which of course we knew we would have to pay additional for. <br /> Some time went by and the kitchen breaker started tripping again, though I had juggled the electric load and put some appliances on another circuit. I tried to call Lee, left a message and he did not respond. <br /> A few months went by with more or less normal service, and then the problem started to happen again, so I tried to call again. Speaking with the receptionist, I left two more messages, with increasing urgency. She told me Lee had been very busy but she would make sure he got word I was trying to reach him. That was several weeks ago. He never called me back. <br /> Even if he felt he couldn't help us, he should have had the courtesy to return my calls. After spending $5,000 for services from LC Electric, I couldn't even get a response to a problem that could conceivably have been  a result of improper work by his company, or else might have resulted in a new work order. Either way, this is not only unprofessional but lacking in all business etiquette. I can't believe the man was simply too busy. To say we are disappointed would be a tremendous understatement. <br />

They came the same day I called.  They were prompt, professional and worked quickly to repair damage to the wiring that a mouse had gnawed through.  I was very pleased with their work. <br />

I spoke with Lee and his initial approach was to help me over the phone and avoid dispatching a technician and therefore incurring their minimum service call of $85 + tax. I spoke with him twice and he was very thorough and helpful. In the end, I did need someone to visit the house and remedy the problem. He sent Robert and Sergio who arrived precisely on time, went directly to work, diagnosed and repaired the problem and explained the issue. Both technicians were very professional. <br />

LC Electric came out the morning after I called and installed a junction box/outlet above the stove for a new hood, fixed a faulty light switch, and put some loose wires in a box behind the kitchen sink that had been left open when the house was built.  Two young guys came out and did the work.  They were professional and courteous.  The only problem was they installed the junction box in the wrong place above the stove, realized it and moved it.  This caused us to have to have a drywall repair made and to repaint the area where the box was improperly placed.  Otherwise, the work was well done. <br />

The provider was excellent, prompt, and fair with price. As a woman, I did not feel talked down to, or taken advantage of, which was refreshing. I had three estimates in total, and the other two were much, much higher. Apparently they saw me coming. Lee was honest and did exactly what he said he was going to do. It was also nice that I could communicate with him via e-mail.  It avoided the whole hassle of missed calls while I was in meetings or on the phone. <br />

Mr. Eggleston responded promptly on the telephone, came to our home without delay, and on time as promised, and delivered an estimate same day. His inspection of the premises was thorough, and he discovered a small problem in the exterior electrical connection which he fixed at no charge.  <br /> He then came with an assistant on Monday, next working day, and compleed the job efficiently, with extra touches such as placing our new washer and dryer both in their proper position. Cleaned up, all proper and polite and efficient. And the dryer works fine now, no credit to the seller, Conn's. <br />

We replaced a ceiling fan in a bedroom and afterwords it kept tripping the fuse.  I found LC Electric on Angie's List and selected them to fix my problem because they had good reviews.  I called them in the A.M and talked to Lee who said they could make it out at 3:00 PM that afternoon.  Lee and Ryan arrived a few minutes early (awesome) and discovered the problem was with a switch and not the wiring job I did.  We entertained bids on several other projects in our home and plan on calling these guys to come out and work on those projects.  They were very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. <br /> <br /> <br />

2 technicians showed up at the appointed time and installed 2 pendant lights to replace 2 recessed lights in our kitchen.  Both were very professional and neat in their work.  We were very satisfied with their work and would definitely recommend this company. 

Did a great job. All work was first rate. <br />
