Leaf-it-to-Me never called, so I called them and spoke with someone to set up a time. Although the gentleman said that they generally didn't intend to provide services for the East Valley, they were doing so due to the Angie's List ad. Additionally, the popularity of the ad caused them to provide services during weekend hours. I indicated that this would be perfect. We arranged to have the next Saturday morning (Aug 6) around 8:30 a.m. for work to be done. No one arrived on the next Saturday morning, so I assumed that the intended date was indeed the following Saturday (Aug 13), and not the next Saturday. So, I waited for someone to show up on Saturday, Aug 13, but there was no one, and no phone calls during this entire time. So, on Sat., Aug 13 midday, I called and spoke to the same gentleman I spoke with before. (He remembered me because I had indicated that his crew would need to have the work truck labeled with the company's name.) He apologized to me, and stated that with the Monsoons, the crews were reworking some of their jobs because of damage, etc. I was understanding, and asked for another appointment. He asked about the following day, which was Sun, Aug 14; however, use of power tools outside is prohibited in my neighborhood. We agreed to have work done on Sat, Aug 21 with a crew (or person) to be at my house around 9:30 a.m. No one showed! By this time, I am exceedingly angry because this company does not show up, call, e-mail, or make any effort to contact me despite my having visited their website to leave my contact information. By this time, I'm furious, and I left an angry phone message telling them to 1. call me, 2. call me and show up the following Sat., Aug 27, or 3. call me and refund my $149.00. So, now it's Sun., Aug 28....I have had no contact via phone or e-mail. This is supposed to be a new company to the Valley, but with existing company offices in other states. I'm not very happy, which is an understatement. This is by far the worst service I have ever received from an Angie's List company. By this time, I don't really want to speak to anyone; I just want my $149 reimbursed. There's nothing that would ameliorate this issue beyond reimbursement...the damage has been done to their reputation.
