Provider was suppose to return and finish laying sand on the patio. Since job was very close to complete, I paid him rather than wait. I never heard from him again. The sand has since washed out in spots and another provider is correcting the situation with polymeric sand. Other than the sand issue, the patio looks good in the way it is laid out. Provider was punctual, and the project went very fast considering it was in the middle of the winter. <br />

Chad showed up when scheduled to give us an estimate. We had a general idea of what we wanted and tried to convey our and quot;design thoughtsand quot; to him. He was very helpful with suggestions as well, when asked. Within a day or two of his initial visit, he provided drawings and a written estimate for the work to be performed. We had gathered different estimates and his, although, not the least expensive, was the most complete, detailing costs for material/labor for each step of the process. The drawings he provided gave us assurance that he did, indeed, understand what we were looking to have done. Once we made the decision to go with his design/estimate, we provided a deposit and were put on his schedule. He began the job on time and stayed within his estimate on costs. All of his work was done as promised and done within the time frame he promised. This was especially nice because the weather was not always cooperative. Upon completion, he even came back to ensure that everything looked good to us and that we had no issues with drainage or runoff, etc. We absolutely LOVE the patio. It looks exactly as we had pictured it would. We will definitely keep him in mind for any future projects. <br />

This was about the fourth time we have hired Chad Hurry for landscaping services. In the past, he did a curved paver sidewalk, circular large circular raised planters that coordinate with stacked stone and paver retaining walls in the front ditch and sides and back of our house, two patios on either side of the back deck, and total landscaping (with large rocks and plants) of the front yard. People have actually stopped and taken pictures of our yard. So, when we decided to add a walkway to the side of our house and remove a dying tree and re-landscape, we did not bother to call anyone else... just called Chad. Why mess with success? <br /> Chad and his assistant, Rob, were extremely easy to work with. We discussed our vision and Chad sketched out his ideas based on that... it was exactly what we were thinking. They were friendly, professional, and hard-working. The walkway they constructed exceeded our expectations... it was far sturdier than I thought it would be. They cleaned up the driveway and work area at the end of each work day and completed the entire project in 7 days... extremely reasonable. We felt the price was very reasonable as well. <br /> We have hired Chad several times and would hire him again without hesitation! <br />

My house was built on a hill with no thought into how the yard was going to be used. The severely sloped yard made it nearly impossible for the kids to play outside. I contacted Legendary Landscapes to help me figure out a solution. Chad, the owner, came over for the initial consultation. I expressed my needs and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He proposed a solution for my yard and explained the steps necessary. I thought i was going to need an expensive retaining wall but Chad suggested a lower cost alternative for me using rip rap that i didn't even know was possible. The proposed price was exactly what i was looking for so the work was scheduled for the following week. Chad and his helper showed up on time and performed the work in 95 degree plus weather (kudos to them, too hot for me!). The work was done on time, 2 days as proposed despite the insane heat, with no surprises or issues. I wasn't sure how good the rip rap wall would look but i was pleasantly surprised with the final product. The work done looks great and my yard looks enormous now! I highly recommend this company, they are going on my speed dial as the first and only call for future landscaping projects. <br />

The house is rather cottage looking, and we wanted to use natural material in a natural looking way. Chad was able to follow the idea of what we wanted and ran with it with some embellishments of his own. <br /> He used gravel and rocks to create a pull over on a narrow driveway. He built a planting area next to the pullover and around a light post (his idea), which enhanced the look. We had rotting timber on some stairs, which he replaced and evened out the rise on the steps making them easier to use. He created a meandering, gently sloped path from midway down the back yard to those stairs, again, using gravel and rocks. The point at which the path begins had been a gravel and timber raised platform used as a sitting area/patio apart from the house. He put matching gravel and rocks around the area which ties the two structures together. With surplus gravel, he refreshed our front walk (gravel) and added some to the driveway so that the turnout and drive flow seamlessly. These last two he did on his initiative with the result that the overall effect on the front yard makes the new additions blend. We've had positive comments by neighbors on both the front and the back work. <br /> We hope to connect the back path to the rear of the house, use preexisting steps leading from the patio as a terraced planter, and replace timber lining the front walk at a later date. We would approach him to do the work. <br /> <br /> <br />

Chad came and listened to our plans for the garden. He was helpful in working with us to get the plans we really wanted. He gave us ideas that improved our original plans. Chad was not pushy. The job became a plan in motion changing as we both came up with better ideas. We are planning on putting in more dry stack walls as our garden growns and we will only call Chad. The men that worked with Chad were wonderful. They worked very hard, were very pleasant and very professional. We were thrilled that we found Chad and his men.
