In-State Moving Service
Check everything and all your timing and paperwork properly before paying these people. - I was quoted one rate, including the drivers taking their lunch (break) and with a discount. - they finished the job 1 Hour and 15 minutes prior to original estimate and amounts. - When new invoice was recalculated they charged me with their lunch time and never received the quoted 10% off. - sent email to management office, no resolution other than the driver messed up the paperwork. - FAST FOWARD TO 48 hours after the move, to plug in my TV and find the screen shattered, as well as my lamp that was damaged and broke. - They totally ?milked the clock? as well. During the load and unload they had 1 person doing 80% of ALL THE WORK, other than being time efficient. They had the ?other person? also making busy time inside the box of the truck. - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, they also force you to pay by cash or Zelle, they require the customer to pay extra 4% if you want to use your CC! -SHADY AND BAD

"My name is Quinn Slattery, owner of Let's Get Moving Inc., and I was personally present on this move. You were quoted for 4 hours, and we actually completed the move in about 3½ hours, including the 45-minute drive from Bradenton to St. Petersburg. We arrived at 9:50 AM, and everything was fully unloaded by approximately 1:25 PM. When we arrived at your new building at 12:07 PM, you were still finishing your lease paperwork. You called me back at 12:19 PM once you were ready. Even though the wait was only 12 minutes, I credited 30 minutes off the bill to accommodate the delay. Our company does have a 3-hour minimum, which you were aware of prior to the move, and that is what you were ultimately charged. Regarding the comment about ?milking the clock,? that simply is not accurate. During a move, one mover will often load and secure items inside the truck while the other brings items from the residence. Once items are properly loaded and secured, both movers continue bringing items to the truck. This is the proper process to protect furniture and maximize truck space, and padding furniture is an important step in preventing damage during transport. Regarding the TV, it was lying on the floor with no feet attached and the screen facing outward when we arrived. I offered a TV box for additional protection, but that option was declined. The TV was pad-wrapped, protected with cardboard, and secured to the truck wall during transport. When I placed your TV on the stand at the new apartment, there was no visible damage. The lamp was also placed safely in the apartment with no damage when we left. Lastly, customers are never forced into a payment method. All payment options, including the credit card processing fee, were explained prior to the move. We take pride in providing efficient, careful, and honest moving services, and in this case the move was completed faster than the quoted time. For transparency, our company keeps detailed records of arrival times, work performed, and signed paperwork for every move."

In-State Moving Service
We used Let’s Get Moving for our local move to our new home, and “outstanding” is truly an understatement. From quote to delivery, every step of the process was exceptional. I’ve had bad experiences with local movers in the past, so I was a bit hesitant at first. We did an extensive review before committing, and the company’s BBB rating was the main reason we chose them. They more than lived up to it. The representative who provided the quote was professional, quick, and accurate — the final price matched the estimate exactly. The delivery team — Pat, Calep, Josh R., and Demis — was amazing. They were efficient, respectful to each other, to us, and to our belongings, while also being a lot of fun to work with. If the rating scale only goes up to 5, this team deserves a solid 10.

I highly recommend let’s get moving,inc. They handled all aspects of my move efficiently and with great care. The communication was great. My movers were Damien and Anthony and they worked very hard and very efficiently. There were no hidden charges. They just were very upfront about their prices and charged what they said they were going to.

Josh R and Jason did a great job with my move. They were pleasant with good attitudes even early in the morning and in this heat. They took care of my furniture and kept me informed through the whole process. I recommend and trust Let’s Get Moving. I would use them again without hesitation.

Had a great experience with Let’s Get Moving! It all began when Paul came to give the estimate to see what needed to be moved. The day before the move Paul touched base and asked if there were any additional needs. On the day of the move Robert and Aaron were on time and very accommodating. They were very professional and treated our belongings as if it was theirs. This was an intrastate move that Robert and Aaron performed. Let’s Get Moving recently moved my family and I was extremely happy with their professionalism, courteousness, and care they took in wrapping and moving my furniture and boxes. The men were clean cut and made me feel comfortable by myself as a woman to have them in my home. They were also HONEST, which can be hard to come by these days! They found a lost wallet of mine and brought it to me! Josh K., Damian, and Aaron were my movers names and I highly recommend anyone to request them.

This is the 2nd time I used Let’s Get Moving. As previously, we were very pleased with the move. Matt & Paul who scheduled the move were very timely in returning calls and answering any questions. Josh R., Robert, and Aaron (the guys who did the move) were professional, friendly and took care in packing and when arriving at new home was very willing to place items where designated. Josh notify me when they were about one hour away to arriving. This company’s managers and employees were informative, willing to answer any question and made suggestions to keep cost down. I moved to my new apartment on April 14, 2023 and had the pleasure of having Damian and Brandon as my movers. Let me tell you, these guys were AMAZING!!! Let's Get Moving was recommended to me by my sister and I can see why! These gentlemen were communicative, professional, and very kind. They took great care with all my belongings and went above and beyond in all areas of their service, especially when moving everything into my new place! I went over my esitimated time (my first time using a moving company and I had more than what I thought lol), but it was well WORTH IT!! My girlfriend and I used them both for moving small and big items. Once for less than a mile move and another time from Temple Terrace to St. Petersburg. Let’s Get Moving deserves 15 stars. A very rough move was made extremely easy with smiles and laughter the whole day!! The owner was fantastic, respectful and had all the right answers to many questions. The team, Jason and Nick were fabulous. The went over and above to help set-up and position furniture always smiling and respectful. The day ended with smiles, laughter and without one problem!! I have moved many times locally and this was my 3rd long distance move. This was by far the best experience I have ever had. They made it so easy. It was such a fantastic experience with zero stress. Paul was above and beyond from the beginning and Anthony and Aaron were the absolute best movers I have ever had. Absolutely DO NOT use this moving company from ****. I have never had such an awful moving experience in my life, where not only did I not get my stuff in time and not even know if I was ever going to get it, but my life was put in danger. I worked with Ernie McNab, who should be in jail for his behavior. He represents this company, but apparently works for 12 other companies as well. I signed a contract specifically with Let’s Get Moving (DOT # 2270761) for a direct door-to-door move from Florida to Baltimore with guaranteed delivery dates. When I was packed and picked up in Florida, movers from a different company, Men on the Move, came without explanation. The day of delivery in Baltimore, the movers never came and suddenly no one from Let’s Get Moving were available to help. Lonnie, the lead mover from Men on the Move got in touch with me and gave me the information for my Maryland mover. This man called me to tell me I had to meet him at the Uhaul station to rent him a truck. When I got to the Uhaul station, in a very questionable part of the city, I was greeted by my “mover” and his wife- a team of people with nothing but a large backpack and a pack of cigarettes. They did not have moving supplies, a wallet, or driver’s license. Apparently Let’s Get Moving put an ad on Facebook saying, “need mover in Baltimore, we pay better than most.” He wanted me to rent him a truck to drive, despite him not having a license to drive. I did not feel comfortable with this plan and when I called Let’s Get Moving to tell them so, the man on the phone told me to just follow him in my car to pick up my stuff and to deliver it. I then spoke to Lonnie again, who said he was paid by Ernie just to get my stuff to Baltimore, not specifically to my apartment so his job is done. He eventually got me in contact with another mover who said that given it was Friday before a 3-day holiday weekend, I would have to wait until Wednesday to get my stuff, despite having a guaranteed delivery date for the previous Friday. Wednesday came and given that Ernie and Lonnie gave the mover the wrong size truck about my stuff, he had to go back to the facility a second time to get everything, causing further delays. I had to pay for several days in a hotel, including starting my first days of work at a hotel and my family had to take time off work to be there for the movers. Let’s Get Moving did nothing to help resolve the problem and still has never contacted me. They continued to tell me that I was not booked with them, despite my contract being with them. Ernie was incredibly rude during this entire process, lying and telling me that I signed multiple other documents for other moving companies which is false as my only documents are with Let’s Get Moving. He also told my mother she had to say “yes sir” to him when on the phone with him, clearly, he is a misogynist. Ernie should be thrown in jail and this entire company should be closed.

We did some research to find out what happened here and after we advised you, we were not able to do your move Ernie referred you to another company that might be able to take care of you, from there you booked your move with them (Men on a move). We have no affiliation with any other moving companies. I have received all your paperwork and payment receipt from the company Men on the Move to show that they were your movers not Let'[Member Information Removed] Get Moving. Again, I am very sorry that you had this experience with a moving company, but it was not Let'[Member Information Removed] Get Moving that did your move. We only gave you an estimate."

Moving is never easy, but Let's Get Moving makes the experience as enjoyable as possible. They were extremely professional and efficient. They packed us in one day and moved us the next. We had nothing broken and they put all of the furniture and boxes where we wanted them in our new house. All of the movers were polite and respectful. This is our 3rd time using them and we will use them and recommend them again and again!!

We are so glad we chose Let's Get Moving for our move from St. Pete to Jacksonville on March 18, 2022. We had four men and two trucks. The crew was on time and absolutely knew what they were doing. They took great care with our things and took their time getting each furniture piece and the boxes into the right room upon delivery. We had nothing damaged.
