Showed up a week late then only showed a few hours a day, he is an extreme liar. Failed to finish job and siding was done very poorly. He Took 7 months and it was completed by someone else.he would hire drug addicts from the street to work per day never would provide an insurance certificate. One of his workers came with a new born baby they left in a car seat while they worked on the roof . Very unprofessional contractor.

Tim is professional and prompt guy. I got free estimate from many roofing company. They said $10000~ $12000 for replacement of my old roof. My house is 1780 square feet. I wanted to save money and to find reasonable cost with pro. Finally I found Tim & his team. They are honest and professional. They worked for 3 days early morning to 5pm and cleaned every thing after work. I am very satisfied with Tim & his team. Thank you Tim!

The process was supposed to take 3 days, it was finally done in 8 days. The trash removal was sloppy. Because the roof was not properly covered and secured, there was a big roof leak. As a result my ceiling got damaged. I am still waiting for contractor to change wet insulation in attic and fix damage ceiling. Will follow up when the damages are fix.

I’m satisfied with L & H. The work done was good and the price was fair, and Tim was very flexible with timing. The thing I appreciated most was that he was wiling to replace only the actual front door slab without a pre-built frame (unlike other contractors I talked to), which would have changed the entire configuration and look of the front porch entry. It was a custom door and he still had to cut it to fit with the sloped floor (this is normal for porches) but he made it work and I’m happy with it.

There is no way this is an A rated business. These are not professionals and likely false reviews on here. I've had great success with Angie's List but, this was a nightmare. Work trailer was left in my driveway and not blocked - rolled into my car. Took 6 months from down payment to "completion". Did not complete work that was paid for but, the work was so poor I did not want them on my property anymore. I paid real professionals to complete portions of the job or did it myself. Price was low but, you get what you pay for. The main reason they were hired was to tie deck header and roof into the existing home. They were unable to tie the deck header board in and I had to do it myself. The roof tie in was a complete failure as it leaks in multiple areas. I consistently had to babysit and make sure significant errors such as footer placements were lined up correctly. Building materials used were lowest possible quality. Workers typically would not start before 10a and rarely past 3p. They aren't builders or capable of skilled work. They're sloppy and not even good roofers. Now, I have to fix my leaky roof on my own. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. COMPLETE DISASTER

Tim was prompt, finished the job quickly an efficiently, cleaned up after, and asked a fair price. I have used Tim on several occasions before and will continue to use him for contacting needs

Tim and his team was extremely helpful and reliable. Had roofing done and the job was done at such timely manner. The second part of the job was the side porch demolition and was very satisfied. Price is very reasonable. It has been a great experience and would definitely hire him again.

My experience with L&H construction company could not have gone any better. They took on a roofing job that many other companies were unwilling to take on and at a very reasonable price. The owner kept in contact with me and was very responsive and addressed all of my concerns. Additionally, the job was completed in a timely manner and the roof on my shed came out looking great. I would definitely recommend L&H and would not hesitate to use them again for my roofing needs.

We were told it would be a 2-3 week project that ended up taking 12 weeks. The porch looks nice from a distance, but up close shows many flaws and errors. The door that needed to be replace with a window was not removed before the hip roof was built. So instead of removing it, they cut it off and put the window in over the door. The porch spindles are not all the same, they are not equally spaced apart or spaced properly to the building codes. Many of the spindles used were warped when installed. They also use different spindles on the stairs and only cut one end instead of cutting equal amounts off both ends to center the turning. The porch poles were supposed to be turned and are not. There are hammer marks in the ceiling of the porch from missing the nail. The crew was one person most of the time and often only showed up for a couple of hours every couple of days. The trellis skirt for the porch was put on with framing on the back side and not facing out. It makes it look unfinished.

We would hire Tim again in a heartbeat! Tim was responsive, on time, efficient and very professional. We needed someone to fix a roof leak that seamed to spring up overnight. Tim made the effort in his busy schedule to come out the very next morning and give us an estimate with no pressure in actually hiring him for the job. He located the source of the leak, and was able to complete the job for us that morning. (I still haven't heard from 3 other people I left messages with). If you want someone quick, and who cares about his customers and in doing a good job, call Tim!

Tim has done work for me before, and my wife and I are very pleased as we were last time. The roof looks great. He worked us into his already busy schedule after another roofer fell through on us. He always returns calls, and we look forward to working with him again in the future.

Very well. I met with 6 contractors over the course of one year- searching for someone with a decent price and who seemed trustworthy. I signed with Tim to replace my roof and siding the day we met. As with many home projects, things came and the cost grew. I believe Tim was extremely fair in pricing. He and his team worked all winter to complete the siding and roof- both look beautiful!

Tim worked with me every detail to fit the job into my budget. The crew worked fast. Job looks great. No nonsense. I'll call them again.

The roof replacement was not an urgent matter but I decided to proceed anyhow. I can't say if the estimate and final cost were high or low because I didn't seek other bids. I did select a style of shingle that was just a bit more expensive because of the colors. Tim and the crew were punctual, hard-working, neat, and courteous over the course of the work. The end result is beautiful. Tim returned afterward to check for odds and ends and to discuss deck work to be done in the spring. I highly recommend L and H construction.
