I had two technicians come out for a clogged sink and an HVAC system maintenance, and both Tristen and JR are very knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. JR even offered to teach me how my HVAC system worked and problems that can arise. I learned a lot from him. Overall the price to snake the drain is a little pricey (not the technician’s fault), but the service is very thorough. I have been using Lightfoot’s service for years, and the technicians I’ve had are very knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough.

I've been a Lightfoot Mechanical customer for years, but they sure need an improvement to their scheduling system. My latest experience is illustrative. I called them for an HVAC appointment and had a window of 8am to 12pm for the technician to arrive. No one came during the window. No texts or calls as to when to expect the technician. Nothing. At 12:30 i called Lightfoot to see what was going on. The customer service person said the technician was on another job and would call me 30 minutes before his arrival. So how much longer do I have to wait? Not a clue. I cancelled the appointment. I understand it is difficult to know how long a specific job will take, but Lightfoot should have better customer service to keep homeowners advised of arrival times, especially when the 4 hour window has come and gone.

They quoted $720 for a water heater relief valve!!!!! Its a $25 part and 30 min of work. That is absolutely unacceptable, I am at a loss for words for how awful that is to try and charge someone that. Be careful, they will try and rip you off!

Tristen G. came out to help us with our air conditioning. He figured out the problem and got it fixed right away! He was very professional and helpful. Answered all my questioning and checked on another issue we had. We are very happy with Lightfoot and purchased the membership as well. Thank you Tristen!

We had a mixed experience with Lightfoot. When they first came out, their pricing was really unclear. We questioned the sales tactics and asked to speak to management and the tech was combative, defensive and wouldn’t allow us to speak to management. It was a frustrating experience and we didn’t really trust the work that was done, however the tech guaranteed that it would be under warranty and if issues arose within 30 days we’d be covered. In 2 weeks - the issue with our condensate drain line continued. We called them back and a different tech, Josh, came out and he was awesome. He was kind, explained the work he was doing, fixed the issues left by the first tech and Lightfoot did not charge us for the additional work. Overall, I’m unsure if we’ll use them again but I am thankful for Josh and Lightfoot fixing the issue not resolved by the first tech.
