We found 3 outdoor lighting companies from the Angie’s List initially. We picked Light it Right. Brandon paid great attention to what we wanted, and he really put a well-thought out design together for us. He did not just sell us things that we didn’t actually need. He was so professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and very patient. As a result, the lighting turned out to be just great. Also, his crew was responsive and very attentive. They did a demonstration first to ensure we liked what they had installed, and then they did a minor adjustment and completed the whole project in a timely manner. Again, we are happy with the entire experience. If we need the landscape lighting for the other parts of the house, we will certainly call them again.

Brandon and his team were at all times responsive and respectful...and best of all really good at what they do. I was very pleased with how easy everything went after I made up my mind about some of the options. <br /> I ended up with well designed and executed landscape lighting for my home and have already referred 2 of my friends to Light it Right. <br />

<p>We've been thinking about adding landscape lighting to the front of our house for sometime and we're sure glad we did. Brandon is so knowledgeable in the field of outdoor lighting design and really knows how to make a house shine! </p> <p>They use only top quality lighting fixtures. And the crew showed up right on time, were very courteous, quick and neat and did a great job on the installation. </p> <p>In addition Callie runs the business side of the company in an efficient and very professional manner.</p> <p>Before our house was just - well, dark at night. We had a dozen lights in our yard that we had installed (ourselves) about 7 years ago, but after some home remodeling and a new landscape job, we decided we needed a more professional lighting job. <br /> Light it Right does excellent work; so good, in fact, that we asked them to come back 8 months after our initial installation to add more lights. They are professional, courteous, and responsive, and use high quality products. In addition, they are not only thorough and knowledgeable, but they gave us some great practical and aesthetic suggestions about placement and what type of lights might look best where. We especially appreciated the amount of time they spent with us demonstrating how the lights would look and ensuring that we were happy with everything. We had some very specific ideas and high expectations. Brandon and his crew were terrific. <br /> In all candor, I have to admit that we had a little sticker shock when we got the initial cost estimate, especially compared to what our do-it-yourself job had cost. However, Brandon worked with us to eliminate some lights and streamline our plan. We also realized he was using much higher quality equipment than we had installed on or own, as well as LED lights that would last so much longer than our prior lights. Plus, it looks beautiful.....and we were thrilled. Which is exactly why we hired them again. <br /> Obviously, we can't say enough good things about this company, but it is so refreshing to work with people who do high quality work, take pride in what they do, and are honest, courteous, and thorough. <br /> <br />

<p>This company is fraudulent. <br /> <br /> They have installed lights and over charged. <br /> <br /> They indicate that they are the only ones who can provide light bulbs but if you just search the internet you can find the very same bulbs for 1/10th the price and it takes seconds to install them. <br /> <br /> They over bill.<br /> <br /> If you do business with this company beware! Be careful! Don't make a mistake. <br /> <br /> They put on a good dog and pony show but once you bite, they reel you in and over charge along the way.</p>

Light it right did a great job. They came out and gave an estimate, did a demonstration install so we could evaluate the positioning and then came back to properly install the lights. Great job! I'll use them again to light the back yard. <br />

I've said it all in the "Excellent" ratings. They are a small, family company. That has pros: responsiveness and competence, and cons: appointment precision. As examples of the pros: they respond quickly to a telephone call or an email, and the work is better than anything I've seen. As an example of the cons: They cannot specify a time, because the prior job might take longer than expected or there may be traffic problems. They can, of course, specify a date and a time window. The pros obliterate the cons. I will use this provider every time I can.

Everything looks great, thanks for the great work and excellent communication. We live in a new area in our subdivision with new houses going up, we will definitely refer you to our future neighbors (b/c I'm sure they will ask who did our lights). This project represents one of the few times where everything went as promised. All aspects, price, timing and quality of service were right on target. From the outset, owner Brandon Kuehler was efficient, truthful and easy to work with. He did a great job laying out the system and adjusting according to customer preference. This was a 21 light system covering front and back yards in a highly landscaped mature home. Following layout, Klint and Abraham did a magnificent job burying all of the lines and setting up the transformer. They were very mindful of all the landscaping . They used conduit in all the beds. LED lighting is more expensive up front, but the lights last a very long time, they look great and cost pennies to operate. Brandon said at the beginning of the project that after it is finished, we would not even know "Light it Right" was there. He was right on target, with one exception: the lights are beautiful! <br />

Brandon and his team were wonderful! They took care of everything. They set up the lights ahead of time to check placement, brightness, illumination, etc. They came back and adjusted things to make sure that I liked the look of the lighting on the house trees, shrubs, fences, etc. Then, they came back and installed the final lights. Looks fantastic. I was worried about the cost, but the look is something I couldn't have obtained by doing it myself. They definitely Light It Right! Very impressed with Brandon and the guys who did the actual installation. Professional all the way! I would HIGHLY recommend them!!! <br />

I have had LIght it Right to my house to service my landscape lighting 3 times (basically burnt bulbs and a warranty issue). They have always been punctual as promised, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. This is in total contrast to the company from the North side of Houston (no names) who originally installed my lighting system-they stood me up and were always late when they did show up. I only wish I had found Light it Right from the get go. They do not nickel and dime you to death with minor sprucing of your system either which is a practice I respect! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Brandon, a friendly, easy-going, but very professional young man called promptly about ten min. before the appt. time to say he'd was running a little late. He arrived soon after the call. <br /> He quickly went to work fixing two of the focus lights whose wires had become worn out and suggested a better place for them. <br /> The focus light in the pond, however, needed replacing. He gave me a few options and their prices. I decided on a led light which would be more costly but last a lot longer. A problem arose in that the one he wanted was not in stock. <br /> About a week or so later, Adrian, also very friendly and knowledgeable, and who works for Brandon, came out with two small led lights-which I got for the price of one since they had been used a bit but this saved us a lot of time. Adrian certainly went above and beyond the call of duty. He installed the two new focus lights in the pond and of course connected them perfectly to the timer. He put all the cables for all three lights under ground; doing this around the pond was no small feat. But now, he explained, I wouldn't have to worry about them being mowed over. When I asked him what I might do to make the pond prettier, he had some great (and economical) ideas, all of which were very much appreciated. <br /> All in all a great , no-stress experience! <br />

They did a wonderful job and the lighting looks wonderful. One bulb had burnt out and they immediately came out and determined it was a manufacturers defective bulb and replaced it within one day. Will use them again for our back yard when we are ready to put lighting back there.

Brandon came out and gave an estimate and could not have been nicer. He understood exactly what we needed done and our goal of having lighting that was low-maintenance and reliable. Callie sent the estimate over very quickly and the work was scheduled and completed in a week. Great turnaround and fantastic results. We would (and will) hire them again. <br />

High quality product, very good service, and they worked hard to be sure everything was done to my satisfaction. They certainly went the extra mile with their customer service. <br /> <br /> This was a major job, however I don't think it appropriate to convey what the cost of the service was so I put it as $0.01 since it is required. The price charged by the company was price competitive - I got 3 other price quotes for the same work.

Absolutely Fantastic! Brandon and his entire crew, from office staff to installers and maintenance guys do a great job. They have always been prompt, professional and do a wonderful job with leaving everything just like they found it. They also did a trial run, putting out all lights prior to installing and letting us see them at night to approve and/or make adjustments before permanently installing them....so helpful!
