He found mold on some air vents, which was good, but his recommendations for treatment were exceedingly overpriced and not even completely fixed. Two different HVAC servicepeople since his work have said I was "scammed" and overcharged by $2000 for the job. When he left the house, it was a mess, and I wasn't sure he even did what he said he would do (which the other servicepeople said he did in a messy, incomplete way.).

Wayne originally came out to my new house to do a Chimney cleaning - he than mentioned that he does Air Care and looked at my duct work. He showed me where the ducts were ripped, torn and simply not doing their job. He gave me a price ($3800) to replace them and showed up the next morning and did the work. He claims there was a 5 year warranty on all work performed. I called him the following week with an issue where my basement/garage was too cool and attributed it to some of the ducts not being sealed correctly. Wayne showed up and taped off the ducts that he said were leaking. Now, after 2 months, I still have leaking duct issues. I've had 2 different HVAC companies come out and tell me that the duct work was not done correctly. Each duct should have mastic around it to seal them to the main trunk not the crappy tape he used. Mastic was never used on my system and my basement/garage area still is extremely cool due to leaking ducts. I have been trying to contact Wayne since Aug 20 - voicemails, emails, notices from Angies List and have received NOTHING - it's like he disappeared into thin air - with my $$ of course...with that said - I wouldn't hire this guy to do any work. If he can't honor his warranty and work then what good is he? It is now going to cost me over $1000 to have the job corrected.

Wayne and his crew did a spectacular job, at a very fair price. What began as a simple dryer vent job, became a critically important HVAC-related repair, after his willingness to check on our mold and odor issue from our primary air conditioning unit. Net/net: He discovered our problem was with mold and retained water in flex duct work that had not been properly checked and cleaned. He provided us with a comprehensive quote, and quickly got us on his schedule, even though it meant they had to work on a Saturday. He and his crew arrived on time (in fact, 15 minutes before promised) and in one day changed out all duct work. He also returned to our home the next week, to verify everything was properly installed and working, and "tweaked" a few ducts that needed adjustments. Wayne knows his "stuff" and advised on cost-effective solutions (at far fewer dollars) to save on addressing one remaining issue. Lastly, when we had concerns with a faint odor (not caused by their work) he immediately returned the next morning, to ensure everything was working properly. We highly recommend Lindsay's Air Care -- excellent and prompt, expert service. Very fair price, knowledgeable and friendly, willing to explain all work, quick to follow up to ensure we were completely satisfied and that the work was done correctly in all respects.

Was told I needed new duct work and in a hurry working on the house we bought I went with the first quote. Was told we had mold and needed new ducts. I knew the duct work in the attic was very old but the wasn’t sure about under the house. Everything was done while I was at work and it got done quickly. Once it was done I inspected soon to find out under the house they didn’t replace anything. Call the guy back out and he started working again. Now a year later I was under the house just inspecting to make sure I haven’t had any kind of issues to just find out 4 of my duct lines are laying on the ground completely disconnected wasting air and letting bugs in. Also found out they left plenty of trash under there. 2hrs later I fixed everything myself. I need to get some straps to get everything off the ground completely but now my house is cold not just cool. I hate I wasted $2000 as I feel I probably over paid anyways and could have just done the job myself far less.

He was on time. That was the only good part. He put a head lamp on , looked up into the chimney, said it didn’t need cleaning and that logs needed replacing. Five minutes of work cost me me $109.00. He wasn’t friendly and wanted to go shopping. I feel like I threw money away.

Mr. Lindsay arrived during the time frame that was agreed to and cleared my clogged dryer vent for the agreed to price. Hi did not try to upsell any additional services which I appreciated.

It went well, except two days later the dryer informed me it was clogged again. We reset the dryer again, and there have not been any more clogged messages for the past two days. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Mr. Lindsay was very accommodating in scheduling a time that would work for us. He arrived on time, assessed our situation, and make recommendations. He also checked our air ducts and the crawl space since we had a musty odor in the house; he determined that the air ducts and the water vapor barrier needed to be replaced, demonstrating the issues and explaining the problems that they would cause in the future. He was able to begin the work that day and finished the rest in the next few days as promised. He explained what he accomplished each day so that we knew what was finished and what work remained.

Mr. Lindsay found liquid in our downstairs air supply lines, and beer cans & debris in our upstairs lines from a tenant who lived in our condo previously for three years with pets. He proposed to clean & sanitize upstairs lines, replace downstairs lines due to liquid, sanitize unit, fog the crawlspace, replace dryer vent with hard pipe, and install fan forced vent in crawlspace. He requested 60% in advance; 40% upon completion. After he finished, I found debris in the upstairs line. Mr. Lindsay came back and re-vacuumed those lines and sprayed sanitizer in the air return.

Mr. Lindsay arrived on time, installed new vent hose, cleaned dryer vent and was finished quickly. Very personable. Based on other quotes, he was very reasonable. I will keep Mr. Lindsay's phone number and call him when the vent needs cleaning again.

Excellent in all respects. 71 yr old home had never had vents cleaned. My Mom had lived there almost her entire life; she passed in October, 2017. I inherited our home place . I had noticed a lot of dust in filters and around ducts. He showed me starting of mold and mildew, as well as bad dust access in a/c area. We agreed on price to replace system. Biggest surprise-he and his crew completely cleaned basement out to make sure mold & mildew were gone...at no extra charge.! Just amazing to find the level of their efficiency and professionalism in the services industry on a normal basis.

I had a lot of construction debris in my system after a kitchen remodel - and it was unclear whether the vents (including those feeding a partial walk out basement) had ever been cleaned. I called to claim a coupon for the cleaning and ended up adding on sterilization just in case there was mold, etc. from prior year before I owned it. Not only was he professional and prompt (he was out the next day in my case), but he was helpful and full of great tips and tricks to keep the system functioning well. I feel much better about the air quality now.

We had concerns with our air quality and especially mold. Mr. Lindsay came out - one of the few who responded, and when I say responded - it was as if I was texting with someone - quick answers, no flip flopping - straight up and honest. He came out - found our issues, recommended what was needed and nothing more while also informing us how to take care of some things (outside this scope of work) in a cost effective and proper method. When we were cleaning out the crawl space I noticed the water heater was leaking. One message to Mr. Lindsay and he was able to fit that into the effort at an awesome price! They showed up exactly on time - took the exact amount of time he stated initially and put everything back the way it was when completed. His crew was courteous and professional as was he. Mr. Lindsay didn't rush us at all and spent as much time as we needed to discuss anything we brought up - from shower replacement to AC units - anything at all he gave us the time. We have a few older pets with special needs, his understanding and compassion when we expressed our concerns with their well being was a breath of fresh air (pun intended). I had given up on some of the local folks after the years of getting messed over - Mr Lindsay restored my hope and left us feeling safer and extremely satisfied. I will definitely call him first for anything I have a need for in the future - If I could give an extra star I would.
