Live Electric Design

The staff was friendly. However they never come back to finish the job. Totally unreliable. I left many phone call messages asking Anthony (owner) to come and finish the job but they never replied. I had basically to insist for them to come to do the job. At the end they never finished it. Then, I had to hire another company to come and finish the job they left behind. <br /> One of the days they were working on my place, they arrived at 8:30 pm.  <br /> Don't hire this company !!!!!!!!! <br />

the staff are very nice - before they even walked in, they laid down paper throughout the walk path of the house to keep everything clean. They were very careful in our home and courteous. Anthony is responsive and a really nice guy. <br />

Excellent! I worked with Live Electric before and didn't hesitate to call them for this project. The timing throughout the project was tricky because we/he had to coordinate with the construction contractor and Live Elect. had to come out several times at different points during the job. Anthony and his team were extremely accommodating and worked very well with the bath contractor to plan and complete the work within the project timelines. Before and during the project, Anthony took the time to help design the lighting plan which ended up being more complex than I thought it would. He even came by with a portable power station to power up the light fixtures I had bought to help me understand/visualize the amount of light we needed in the finished bathroom. He saved us a lot of money and trouble! For example, I thought we needed and quot;layers of lightand quot;/recessed lighting in addition to vanity lights -- he advised that the recessed lights were not necessary and might even cause and quot;shadowsand quot; (and he was right!). The original fixtures I bought ended up not being enough light over the vanity and I would have been very disappointed in the end, but because he took the time to walk through the lighting with me, we switched the fixtures around and adjusted their placement and now they are perfect and we are very pleased with the overall lighting in the bath. <br /> Live electric took the time to cover their path with drop cloths (stairs, hallways, entry to attic, etc.) and so didn't leave a spec of dirt behind. They took all the trash away. Also, they didn't leave any damage to the new drywall (which is unusual) and so all the lighting and fans look great, placement is perfect and very professional. The lighting provided the finishing touch on our beautiful bathroom and I have Live Electric to thank for it. <br />

I can't say enough good things about Live Electric. Anthony spent a lot of time with me in the planning stages (that he was not paid for) which was really important. He gave good advice on the number and placement of recessed lights and switches-- I was having a hard time visualizing the lighting in the finished space. He gave advice not based on his profit, but what he thought I really needed or didn't need. He did the same with the bathroom lighting and stereo surround wiring and placement. In fact, if not for his advice, I would have spent more money overall for unnecessary lighting, wiring and speakers. He was very patient during this process and came over several times prior to doing the work. I am completely satisfied with all the lighting, electrical, tv and stereo and have no regrets as a result. Live electric also used the best quality equipment and lighting during construction. I double checked their recommendations and materials used and found that they were of superior quality and highly recommended by other professionals. <br /> He and his employees were always prompt, cleaned up well after their work and were extremely professional. I will absolutely use Live electric again and recommend to my friends.

Job was performed well. Workers were prompt, careful, and courteous.

It went great. we got referred to Tony from a realtor in our neighborhood. He came in with a much lower estimate and I called around to some references because it was so low. They all gave him glowing reviews so we decided to go with him. Tony was responsive, always there when I called. The day of the repair one of his guys showed up (right on time) and started prep work and Tony got there shortly there after. They both worked all day, always helpful and professional, always willing to answer a question I might have had. They came back the day the DC inspector was scheduled to be there and walked through it with him and there were no problems at all. A couple weeks later Pepco came and finished the job and everything is great.

Very well. Anthony gave an accurate estimate and was one of the few contractors I have contacted that was able to explain how he came up with the pricing. He respected the contract and never complained. He was very easy to work with - we were doing the plaster repairs, painting, etc; and never complained when we fell behind schedule. He isn't the cheapest, but it's not price that is important - it was value. He did things correctly (using permits, having the inspector come and sign off work, etc). I now have a properly wired house, nicely installed recessed lighting, smoke detectors, and am not worried about house fires. I will use him again for an additional work (finishing basement, etc).

They are a very good company. The job went very well, no problems at all. He is dependable and very reasonable. He's a very nice guy.

Excellent! Anthony was a subcontractor with Daniel Krienbruehl construction during my basement remodel. He took a lot of time to walk through the options both for lighting and wiring for tv, cable, etc. He never tried to "sell" me on materials, but was honest about costs and my options. I reallhy appreciated his patience and the time he took in planniing. My basement project was from scratch and I had a hard time figuring the placement of the bathroom sconses, etc. He really helped me to figure out the proper placement and to ensure I was happy with the final result. I watched and inspected the wiring through the remodel and am pleased to say that he did everything by the book. His materials were top quality and reasonably pricfed. He was also very flexible and accommodating when I needed to make decisions. Excellent experience! I am having him come soon to wire and install tv equipment.

Anthony arrived on time, installed the lights and cleaned up the area when he finished.
