Jake took out a tree, regraded the whole back yard (we have narrow side yards and Jake was the only landscaper we called who said he could get equipment back there without going through the neighbors yard and tearing out part of the fence). He put in a pretty rock border, redesigned a flower bed and put in Zoysia sod that everyone else said was too hard to get. And he even fixed the sprinkler system! He was very professional, prompt, and hard-working. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will call him again when we decide to put in that flagstone patio!!

We are proud to say, we have had the pleasure of dealing with Living Art Water Gardens for the past 15 years. Their professionalism, customer service and visionary designs are remarkable! Unfortunately, 16 years ago Living Art Water Gardens was not available and we went with another company to design and install some water features in an unusable and ugly portion of our yard. The best decision we made, over 15 years ago, was to call the team at Living Art Water Gardens. Over the years, they have worked to correct all the problems we were having; just a few of these problems were the uncontrollable water leaks (causing high water bills), lighting problems, and the ponds always looking dirty. We are happy to say that with their help we have finally turned that unsightly ugly grassy area between us and our neighbor into a beautiful water feature and gardens that we are proud to call our “Water Park”. It takes up about ¼ of our property, efficiently moving about 2500 gph and is a clean year round home to several large Koi and Goldfish. We can enjoyed it from several different angles: the first and second story decks, inside our home, the little covered porch down in the gardens or just walking around the different features. Our friends and family, from the smallest children to the oldest adults, loves to come over and safely enjoy the Water Park year round. Unlike some ponds we have seen, our Water Park comes alive once the sun goes down, the colored lights in the bubbling boulders and the lights inside the ponds are beautiful. Like us, our neighbors love the sights and sounds of the water. Every year we have the team from Living Art Water Gardens come to do a “cleanout” of the Water Park. This includes removal of all the leaves and other debris (that comes with Alabama fall and winter), trimming up the water plants, and keeping the fish healthy and happy. We are very picky and do not want to see any liner or lighting wires – we like the natural/been here forever look. The pride they take in their work and keeping their customers happy shows! Before all the repairs and redesign that Mr Jake Bright (Owner/Designer) made, the cleanout process took a full three days. Now this is an efficient one day process. Just the other night, we had a gathering of friends and family and no one wanted to go inside – we all stayed outside to enjoying the sights and sounds of Water Park until late in the evening. We have proudly recommended Living Art Water Gardens to several family and friends for their landscape needs and none have been disappointed!! Jake and his crew were friendly and professional throughout the project. They installed a new sprinkler system controller, inspected and repaired the actuator system, adjusted sprinkler heads and replace several bad sprinkler heads. They quickly got to the root cause of the problem, provided and estimate, and the final bill was close and quite reasonable. They took great pride in their work. During, and after the project was completed, they answered all of our questions and have continued with prompt follow up service. I am looking to use them again for some other projects very soon.

Jake was the fifth or sixth contractor who I had to evaluate my lawn for solving the drainage problem in my lawn. Most others talked a great game but failed to respond after they came to my home to perform the estimate. Jake was timely in conducting my estimate and he started in the timeframe we agreed to. Jake and his team did a phenomenal job on my lawn and my kids are excited about their new play area. Jake ensured that my lawn was in better shape than how it was when he started.  If you are looking for a contractor who is a straight shooter and has integrity (which is often like finding a unicorn), then I highly recommend  that you don't go any further than Jake and LAWG. I uswill be using him again soon for additional work. I am very hesitant in trusting people but I will say please don't be thrown off by the deposit he requests if you are a new customer. He is trustworthy    and you will not be disappointed.  <br> <br>

They were fantastic . Fixed everything above and beyond what they needed to do. Ensured all debris was taken away and cleaned up. The water fall is flowing again and the pond is clean and pretty.

They came out, took a look at it, and let me know they'd return on Saturday. They came out that very day and fixed everything. They did a great job! The owner is exceptionally nice.

It went very well. They were very professional, helpful, and courteous. I would hire them again for any landscaping or pond work I have.

The whole process went quite well.  We met with Jake in June where he fully described his services and what he envisioned for our area.  Having received several glowing recommendations from others that had used him (for example, he installed the water feature in the butterfly house of our local botanical gardens), we asked him to submit a design.  He provided an overall design about a week later that we liked and we gave him the approval to put us on his calendar.  One thing we liked about Jake was he was upfront and honest, letting us know the design might change once he started working the area; he likes to let the area dictate the design, not the other way around.  If it was going to be a significant change, he would stop work and discuss the changes with us.  Luckily he "read" the area correctly the first time and there were no significant changes. Jake's calendar is very full so the first time he could fit us in was mid to late September. Due to delays on other projects that was pushed to mid October, which we don't consider unusual for this type of project.  He estimated it would take 10 days to install; it took 13 mainly due to having to order and wait for a larger pond liner than expected.  Jake's crew was professional, polite, and worked very hard.  They arrived on time and worked the entire time.  He also installed landscaping around water feature and he used quality, sizable plants and didn't skimp on the cost (camellias, gardenias, encore azaleas, hawthorns, etc).  When we asked him to make one change (cement the rock retaining wall so the dog wouldn't knock it down), he agreed with no increase in cost.  And finally, he returned after the install to go over maintenance of the pond equipment and water plants. <br /> <br /> In short, we are exceedingly pleased with this company, would use them again, and definitely recommend them to anyone considering a water feature.

Beautiful design for the flagstone walkway, very artistic and attractive.  Quality materials used.  Crew helpful and cooperative.  We plan to use Living Art Water Gardens in future.

Arrived on time and did an excellent job cleaning koi pond.  I have used Jake in the past and have utmost confidence in his work. <br />

good start to our present water garden but Jake was new to area, most of his work we had to replace but I'm sure we both learned a lot about water gardens <br />

Jake is very professional and prompt. He determined our problem and fixed it right away. He also remodeled our koi pond to where it is self maintaining. We are very pleased with his work and will use him over and over if needed. <br />

We had Jake fill in an in-ground pool and installed a pond in a corner of the pool area. He handled everything from equipment rental, materials and cleanup. He even laid sod over the pool area. Three months later, you can't even tell we ever had a pool. Now we have a pond we can enjoy year round instead of a pool that is only used 3 months out of the year. <br />
