I have used Lockwood before for painting. I left a message 6-18-19, Ken returned my call and visited our house on time for the appointment. He said he was a few weeks behind but put us on the schedule. He emailed a proposal. I mailed him a deposit of $340. The workers came by appointment 7-29-19, on time, friendly and polite. They finished the morning of 7-30-19, cleaned up thoroughly. The work looks great. The plaster repair is invisible. The ugly, stained porch ceiling looks like new. This is the second time I've used them. There's never wasted time or confusion and they do a neat, beautiful job.

This company is great. The crew, Rob, Greg and Jake were fantastic to work with. They were prompt, courteous and worked around our work environment, which was not an easy task. Everything was smooth and professional from the estimate to the final walk-through. The area where the work was done had recently installed flooring, and the crew made sure to protect the new floor. The work started promptly as scheduled, and the work area was cleaned up each day. 20 year old wallpaper was removed, and the walls look great.

It has been several months since the work was completed, we have a toddler running things into walls and putting stickers everywhere and the paint still looks good.

I had received and initial bid from Lockwood Decorating almost 8-10 months prior to the start of my job. When I was finally ready for them to start, they kept the same pricing from almost a year ago which allowed me to expand my work to include the whole interior. They Painted each day with anywhere between 2-4 painters. They arrived promptly at 7:30am and worked until usually 3:30pm buy sometimes later. They were great about cleaning up each day. If I was unhappy with something or wanted something redone, they did it with no problem. Their attitudes were great, pleasant, fun, respectful and all that rolled in a complete air of professionalism. Rob came out several times to oversee the job, but it was never necessary. Nick, Greg, Jake & Christian are awesome guys (and Rob) that are very proud of their work product and it shows. I would gladly hire them again!

Lockwood personnel are skilled, professional, punctual and they clean up after themselves. They completed a tricky ceiling repair while maintaining my wall border. They did the drywall, mud and then painted it and added texture to match the rest of the ceiling. I know where the damage was and I could not tell once they were done. They also treated prior water stains and damage around a light fixture. The workers treated my home as their own and took great pains to get it right, and they cleaned up when they were done. I was also not afraid to have their workers in my home. It's as if nothing happened only better because now my ceiling looks new again. Having dealt with, and been disappointed by, many contractors over the years, this is the first review I've written because I was very satisfied with the pricing, scheduling and most of all the quality and outcome of the work done. I'm preparing my list of projects for them to tackle next.

Excellent work. The team worked well together. They were punctual, friendly, clean, courteous--they even pushed themselves to get things wrapped up before a family event was to happen. I was thrilled. I have no complaints. I do feel that they're on the high side of the pricing scale, but I don't mind paying it because they're on the high side of service delivery. It was a good value.

They were very flexible to helping with any issues I found and the quality of work was exceptional.  I was very impressed with this team and would hire them again without question. <br />

<p>Ken Lockwood came with the men in the morning and introduced them.  He went over the work to be done with us and the men.  The men worked both days straight through with little time taken for lunch.  When they were done Ken returned to inspect the work and make sure we were satisfied.  Everything was done to our expectations and above and we couldn't be happier.  We will be having Ken back in the near future to paint our lower level and bathroom.</p> <br />

Took 2 painters 4 days; arrived 7:30am, left 5pm each day, with 1/2 hour lunch.  Company Owner stopped by 3 times to inspect job was progressing correctly.  The 2 young men who were the painters, were polite & very hard workers, focused on the job, not taking tons of breaks or chatting too much.  Great experience!  Highly recommend Lockwood Decorating. <br />

Let's begin by saying I am VERY particular and the whole project and experience went very well. The owner of the company - the forman on the job and all the painters were great to deal with and did a very good job. It 'was a pleasure having them here. They were very neat - took great care to avoid getting paint on anything and were willing to comply to changes that might be necessary.
