I am very surprised by all the negative reviews, our installation went well.  Our initial appointment that was scheduled had to be changed but they were very flexible and came out on the weekend.  Mr. Logue had his family with him so instead of having them wait in the van we asked the kids to come in and play.  All parts of the installation went well and the fans all work great without any noise or wobble.  I submitted this review right after the service but didn't see it so I decided to write another one.  I would definitely use this service again and am sorry to see he is not on Angie's List anymore. <br />

Had purchased 3 hours of labor thru an online promotion for $99 supposedly worth $300.  Mr. Logue arrived at my home a day earlier than scheduled.  Fortunately I was home and allowed him to proceed. When showed the job to be done he informed me it wasn't going to happen because he felt it was too difficult.  I offered him an alternative job but he did not seem to be interested in doing that either.  A third was also rejected. He offered no solutions or showed any real interest in solving any of the electrical problems I presented. All I could do was have him check existing plugs which took him twenty minutes and he was more than happy to leave. I did some research on him and found he has had many business addresses. Wesley, AR, Huntsville, AR and I believe he is now working out of Pea Ridge, AR or Springdale, AR.  Think twice about hiring this man to do your electrical work. This is a man more interested in getting an easy paycheck than helping out a customer and finding a solution which any good electrician would have been able to do. I have since hired another company to do the electrical work and they did not have a single problem doing any of the jobs requested. <br />

<p>Provider very slow to respond to my request for service. I had to constantly keep calling.  Showed up for installation saying he couldn't do the unit as agreed to but would have to use a more expensive unit in it's p[lace. I was under a time restraint and had to agree. </p> <p>Provider was very unprofessional, did poor work leaving the job unfinished.</p> <br />

Jackie followed up with me over and over as I tried to get all my fixtures ordered and ready.  She would call every few weeks just to make sure I knew I wasn't forgotten.  I had to reschedule a few times and she was understanding.  The team showed up on time and as promised.  They worked through all the work that I had lined up that day.  I was so very happy to get these lingering electrical issues completed. <br />

Well, the first appointment was made for a Friday afternoon and we took off from work to be at the house to wait for them.  By 4pm there was no word so I called only to find they had an emergency and were not coming.  She said she called everyone the night before, but NOT ME. <br /> The woman and I had talked and I was told the charge for going into an attic was an extra $75. I agreed as I had read this in previous reviews also.  IT WAS NOT STATED IN THE AD!!!  The ad said extra charge for materials, ok ,and as I said I agreed to the 75 ON THE PHONE WITH THE WIFE, NOT 125.   <br /> They arrived at the house for the second appt and told my husband it was $125 to go in the attic now!?!  What? <br /> Husband called me and I informed the lady that we had discussed this and I was told by her 75 extra, not 125, well long story short...the coupon from Angies List cost $99 for 2 hours of electrical labor. It said materials extra.  We had to write a check for another $150.   <br /> I value any working person's time and skills, but I feel like we were "taken". Don't tell me one price then as soon as you arrive increase it. We paid it, the people did quality work,  but I would not do business with them again. <br />
Response from Logue Electric
"The ceiling fan you needed installed required electricity to make it work something you did not have, so it required attic work to get electricity to it. So most of the work was done in the attic, I told you there was a minimum of 75 it could be more depending of how much work had to be done. You was only charged 75 for the attic work plus the materials, we don't give away materials for free, if we did that we would go broke. So your extra charges are in attic work and materials. We do quality work and stand behind it. Your husband was nice and polite, we had no problems, he was happy, now you decide you want to complain. Your husband liked our work so well that he got bids on future projects. I,m sorry if there was a miscommunication problem. We do all we can do to make our customers happy. Thank you, team Logue electric"

They contacted me via cell phone, and scheduled an appointment on the weekend, which I thought was strange.  They arrived on time, he brought his son as was mentioned in previous reviews.  I purchased the deal through Angie's list, and thought I was getting two hours of work, but only got about one.  Mr. Logue is nice, and knows what he is doing.  He's very to-the-point (customer service is not his strong point, but I'd prefer a good electrician to a salesman any day).  He brought his whole family with him, they were in the truck while he worked on the projects. Now that I've read the other reviews, it makes sense, though.  It just didn't seem very professional.   <br /> They gave me a quote on some other work, but I'm not sure I will use them.  I'm going to get some quotes from other electrical contractors. <br />

Very bad experience.  Mr. Logue came in and said since his son (approx 15 yrs old) was with him, he only had to work 1 hr and not the agreed two hours.  He said it was in the fine print that if he had another person with him he only had to work one hour .  I checked the fine print and it was not there.  I also asked if his son was licensed and he wasn't.  Mr. Logue said his son did not have to be licensed.   <br /> He continued to work while I went to purchase another heater/fan/light for bathroom.  When I returned he finished the kitchen light and started to leave.  I told him he still had time to install another GFCI  and that's when he said his hour was almost up and if he installed another GFCI and it took longer than 1 hour he  would charge me his hourly wage and it would not be included in the two hours I purchased.. <br /> His attitude was very offensive so I felt it was better if he left.  He disagreed with me on the time he arrived and the end of one hour <br /> I wouldn't hire him again or recommend him to anyone.. <br /> Angies List already sent an email to me approving a refund when I didn't think they would be here until April 18.  I still feel I should receive a refund because he didn't work 2 hrs and was very unpleasant to be around. <br />

"[remove member name], I,m sorry you feel this way. I bent over backwards to get you a quick appointment. You just purchased this deal this week. So you didn't wait 1-2 weeks. Your wait time was 3 days. Our son is not 15 and he is in electrical school 3 rd year. He can take down fixtures and a number of other things. We charge 45 to replace your gfi outlet and 125 to replace a fixture like you had we also changed out an outlet which would of been another 45. So you got over 200 dollars in work. When you have 2 guys at 1 hour that is 2 man hours. That is what you got. People don't work for free these days. We do have local guys there. We have an office in Tulsa. We just got it opened , what does it matter where we are from and where we work, this is our choice. We work in various states. We have offices in different states. We done several jobs yesterdayyou are the only one complaining. You yourself stated you got work done. From the way your review looks you are wanting something for nothing, you had work performed you said so your self and you want a refund, we'll if I can help it you won't get it. We don't work for free. As far as time. I wrote down the time we arrived the minute we pulled in your drive it was 2:28. You left at 2:38 to go get a part and did not get back with it til 3:22 and it was still the wrong part. But like I said I,m sorry you feel like you had a bad experience, but it's obvious no one could of pleased you."

I had an outlet I thought was not working. Mr. Logue checked the wires and then traced it to a switch that I never used so I did not know it went to that particular outlet. However, Mr. Logue figured it out, thank God. Then he installed another outlet for my entertainment center. Everything went well and I can now get rid of some extension cords. <br />

I purchased 4 hours of service through the Arkansas Daily Deal.  When I called to schedule my service I was informed that the 4 hours of service I had purchased did not include going into the attic that there would be a minimum charge of $75.00 for that, therefore, I purchased  a led retrofit light from Home Depot so they would not have to go into the attic.  When he arrived he said that it would not work that he would have to install a new can light that he had on his truck and he would have to go into the attic to do so.  He charged me $48.00 for your basic can light and $75.00 additional labor.  Since I had already paid $99.00 it cost me $232.69 for your basic can light and about 45 minutes of labor.  I would never call them again. <br />
Response from Logue Electric
"First of all your coupon had expired, we only had to give you 99 dollars worth of labor which you got. You failed to mention, you had two electricians for 1 hour 15 minutes, that is a total of 2 and a half hours. We charge 99 dollars an hour. Do the math. That is 250.00 worth of labor. Materials are extra. Why couldn't you talk to us like an adult while we were there, instead of bashing our company on here? We back our work and warranty it. You got done what you needed and your electrical problems was fixed. Your review just sounds like you wanted something for nothing. And by the way associates at the store you purchased your product for us to use are not licensed electrician and have no idea of the items you need to fix your problem."

The electricians arrived promptly. They did all the work in about an hour (I had purchased an Angie's List 2 hour coupon for$99).They were friendly, professional and did a great job. They were also glad to answer questions, which is important to me. The charge for materials was $95.75. I am very pleased with the whole experince! <br /> <br />

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They didn't arrive on time. We did have some weather so I tried to give them credit for that. I do work from home so arriving on time is real important because my schedule is tight. They were not punctual which put everything in a tailspin. That put everything behind and I am an online teacher so they were still working when I had to go online and teach my class because I had students waiting for me. They didn't stay the full time and didn't actually do all the things. I didn't feel that I got my money's worth but I got the most important things done and that was good. I had several things that I needed an electrician for and I wouldn't call them again. I didn't pay any additional.
Response from Logue Electric
"Yes being late was a weather issue. We should have rescheduled but we try to keep our appointments. The items you showed the electrician was done, They even ask. If there was anything else that needed to be done your daughter that you sent out to deal with the electrician said they done all that you needed there wasn't nothing else. They may not have been there for the entire time, but you had two electricians for over an hour so you got your two hours. You got 300 dollars worth for 99. You still came out way ahead."
