Beware of this company and using any recommendations from Angie’s List! Lonestar Appliance Service is: •Unreliable •Unprofessional •Disorganized •Messy •Dishonest •Rude -Didn’t come out when first appointment was made: moved to next day at the last minute -Said drum could be fixed when in reality it should’ve only been replaced *a company and technician with integrity would’ve told us to buy a new dryer as any repair would cost almost as much -Miscalculated total and had to refund in cash -Charged $140 for parts costing less than $40 -Charged $50 to “fix dryer” AND $120 for labor: I asked for a refund of $50 and was argued with *owner agreed to give cash later, but has not contacted me -Repair didn’t last even 20 minutes into drying: crack opened MORE -left grease inside dryer and on lint filter without mentioning it to us *I had no issues cleaning it, but would like to have been told it was there -technician found a drum on eBay, but it was not local, so I had to get a refund *I appreciated the help, but was annoyed I bought something that could not be shipped - no attention to detail! -owner has not returned a call after saying he would five days ago when I asked where I could take my dryer since it doesn’t work - he still also owes us $50 and I haven’t even discussed the $140 charge for $40 worth of parts We spent $335 and ended with a useless dryer. We just had to go buy a new one and spent $600. If we had simply been told that a replacement was the only good option, but would cost about $600 (new) between ordering the drum, getting it shipped, and installing it then we would have made a better decision based on reliable information. We were instead completely scammed. We could’ve had a new dryer by the next day versus the frustration of dealing with this company over 48 hours and then having to wait a total of six days to get a new dryer picked up & plugged in to use. We learned a hard lesson: never use Angie’s List and avoid small businesses like this. We will only use larger companies now, read reviews, and pay much closer attention. You cannot naively trust people to be honest and hard working!

Rene was able to repair it but he said it really needed a new part. He went to his truck and tried to find the part but the stove is too old and the part is no longer available. He spent almost two hours trying to find the problem and appeared to be very knowledgeable about it. He was very pleasant and apologetic that he could not obtain the part.

Rene, from Lone star appliance service called less than a minute from the time i requested a repair. Rene was very Professional and Polite and said he would be there in 2 hours after he finished 2 other calls ahead me. He called in a 1/12 hours. got to my house in less than minutes from the call. Rene tested the washer showed me what was wrong with it gave me a price, I happily agreed , best 85.00 i ever spent. He was very clean,wiped his feet before entering the home.And showed me some preventive service on my washer.Rene from Lone Star Appliance Repair was Just Awesome!!!!! Recommend Very Highly!!! Rene with Lone Star repair was immediately responsive to my service request. He committed to accepting the job and arrived a short time later. He was courteous and professional and was able to diagnose the problem and explain what the issues were and what would be required to complete the job. The repair was completed in under 2 hours and my oven works as good as new!! I believe the cost of the repair was fair which is something I very much appreciated. Thank you Rene and Lone Star service! I will use them again and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing appliance repair and service!

Rene responded within 15 minutes of the request, was able to come the same day, actually within an hour, completed the job inside an hour. He was extremely confident and competent and thorough. I would recommend him to anyone needing help with refrigerators.

It was horrible i paid him 200.00 for the part never heard from him again i have emails saying the part was delayed for shipping he took my money never came back and i had to hire someone else to work on the dryer so he ripped me off bad time with me being out of work cause of covid. Rene called back within minutes of my request for assistance. I needed a gasket replaced on a 21 year old garage refrigerator. I tried it myself and failed miserably. Rene gave me a price and was at my 100 degree garage within the hour. He literally spent 2 hours to fix this miserably designed gasket situation. The fridge it great the gasket situation isnt. Rene didnt give up and I am sure he wanted to. At the end of the day he ended up tearing the doors off to get the job done. If you need someone to come keep their word and make it happen this is your guy. If it were me i would have walked because this was not easy, HIghly recommend

Great! He came the same day, repaired the dryer, and noticed something the previous repairman (a different company) had not noticed that was causing the part to fail. Highly recommend!

Rene was very professional and did a great job with the repairs. Was very helpful on getting the right parts and made sure I got the best deal possible On the part I needed. I would definitely recommend him and use him again on appliance services .

Called Lonestar out to look at my Electrolux Icon cooktop, they diagnosed the problem helped me find the part then where more than happy to give me several options on how to proceed. I choose to fix it my self and now it's working like new. If it had been any other company I don't think they would be as willing to help me. Thank you so much Lonestar appliance. I highly recommend them for all your future appliance repairs.

Great job. Rene was able to repair my refrigerator on the same day that I called Lone Star Appliance Service. He was very professional and friendly and he wore a mask while working in my house. He went and picked up the freezer fan that was bad and replaced it in less than 2 hours. I will certainly call him again should the need arise.

He got right on the job, replying the same day we submitted the request, and got the work done quickly. He assessed everything in the morning and came back in the evening to complete the work. The price was less than I anticipated and I would recommend his services to others.

I used them several times. I was good and I don't have any issues with the appliances they repaired. They were prompt, professional, and did a good job. I got a really good service that's why I keep calling them if I had appliance repair needs.
