Loved Lone Star and have recommended them many times. I requested a quote and met a sales person in no time at all - he was prompt and professional, and very patient with my many questions. He explained the options and the pro/cons to each. The price was way below what we expected and the solar screens helped our electricity bills and home comfort a ton this summer.

They came out and measured and all the screens measured just great. They even did my screen door. Their prices are very reasonable.

Lone Star did an exceptional job overall, providing professional results with professional people. They make no false claims and set no false expectations. What they say, is what they do. Showing up on time, measuring each and every window, consulting with me concerning best colors to coordinate with other exterior colors, and finally executing within the expected timeframes. No surprises, very affordable, with an excellent (lifetime) warranty. The products Lone Star uses are very effective. The temperature differences, and cost savings during the summer has been noticeable. West facing rooms, once abandoned at 4 in the afternoon due to solar loading, are now as comfortable as any other room in the house. Highly recommended.

We called to request Lone Star Solar Screens to come out and give us an estimate for screens for our whole home.  They were able to come out the next day to give us an estimate.  We called another provider we found on Angie's list but due to the many storms in our area the provider told us he "might" be able to come give an estimate the following week.   <br> <br>Robert with Lone Star provided us an estimate broken down with prices for screens with the decorative grids and also without the grids.  He also offered to break the bid down showing the cost for only the front of the house and then back of the house in case we wanted to have the job done in phases.   <br> <br>The bid was very competitive and the screens also come with a life time warranty. <br> <br>Once we placed our order for the screens, we were told it would take 7 to 10 days for screens to be made then we would be called to set up installation date.  To our surprise we had our screens installed in less than a week for ordering them.  They look great, are easy to see through and make a big difference in the temperature of our den which faces west and one whole wall is windows. <br> <br>We would definitely recommend them.

The screen was super affordable, looks fantastic and has made a dramatic difference in the temperature of the bathroom during the summer months. We are very pleased and planning to have more screens made for a few other rooms. The entire service was fast and very professional.

it went great, I was never even home. I called them and they measured when I wasn't home and put them up when I wasn't home. <br />  I then called to pay.  Could not have been easier.  They also installed a quality product. <br />

Love my sales person Terry. He forgot to give me my Angies list discount...but I like the guy.  I'm a repeat customer and never had a problem with Terry. <br /> As for the people who want to arrange your install. I recieved a voice mail while grocery shopping from the installation scheduler. Listening to the VM and finding out who it was, I called back and was greeted by a man whom I found to be very short, rude, talking over me, talking AT me, and insisted I called "Them" in the morning to find out what time they were to be there to install instead of them calling me ( the customer ), letting me know a window as to what time they would arrive.  I then told him ... well that's not customer service then now is it.  He then said that they don't call. That's not something they do. (What?) <br /> So, needless to say, it doesn't do any good to call and speak to a manager or owner Jim supposedly, or report to the office. They could care less if a customer had been treated unprofessionally by an employee, ( "gosh, I didn't hear anyone of my employees raise their voice....") , like surely, surely lady you must be mistaken....gosh my guys couldn't possibly be the royal "jerk" you are describing because I didn't hear anyone raise their voice....OMGosh... really? So in your eyes Mr. LLC someone must be raising their voice to be a jerk? Must be nice to have so much business that you just don't care how the hades your employees behave.  <br /> Nice huh? <br /> Thanks for letting me know how you manage your people and how you back your customers.  <br /> Thanks for your help.

WOW, WOW, WOW. These guys are top notch. I have a two story, 3100 sq ft house. We had every window done (50+ windows in all) including all the entry way widows. The cost for the entire job was only $1385. Could not believe how cheap they were. From the time we agreed to have them do the job to the time we got the screens it was 7 days! The back of our house faces west and has zero shade. the AC could not keep up in the late afternoons. the first day we had the screens, the AC had no problem keeping up and the difference in temperature was amazing. I would recommend Lone Star Solar to anyone I know. <br /> <br />
