First, he came here and I told him I wanted a screened in deck. The designer submitted the design to the contractor. I asked for a copy of the design and I was told that I would get a copy. He never gave it to me so I canceled the contract. He called me and talked me into building the deck without the screen. They came out on the 26th and dug the holes. On the 27th they started building the deck but I found from code authority he did not have the permits to build. It took over two weeks and I had to pick up the permit for him. He finally gave me the design three weeks later but had to submit the permit and design to the county for approval. He told me that the permit was not ready but I called the county and it was. Now he is not returning my calls, emails, or texts. My yard has been destroyed, the permit is ready, and it?s been three weeks but he won?t return my calls. d a screened in 12 * 12 deck.

I was pleased with the work, and they did a good job. This was my first time using them, and would recommend them to anyone.

The initial quote and deck work was fine. The deck was completed within 3 weeks of the initial contract being signed (would have been sooner but I was not available for the first week after the contract was signed). The real issues came when it came time to schedule and have the work completed inside the house done. I signed the contract on 08/05/16 as of today, 10/26/16 the work is still NOT completely done. There were more than one occasion where we scheduled the work to be done and no one showed up. They even called me on a day it was raining to tell me the ground was too wet for them to do the work (this was for work to be completed inside the house). The work is not complete now because the carpet was not properly replaced/installed as discussed when the work was done. I scheduled with the office for someone to come look at the carpet almost 2 weeks ago and the person did not show up and no one has called to reschedule or anything even with me sending an email letting them know that the person did not show up as scheduled. The actual work that was done and the people I've talked to in the office have been great. The workers that came to the house were timely, professional, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. However, the frustration and unprofessionalism in trying to actually get the work scheduled was and continues to be a nightmare. As such, even though I originally wanted to have work done on my fence in addition to the work done to my deck, I will not be using this company for that work and will not go through the hassle of trying to work with them again and would not recommend them to anyone else.

As of Friday 7/29/2017 (~1:00 p.m.) - 75% complete; work started on 7/11/2017; early misunderstanding of lay out and design requirements contracted for by the customer were corrected by the Long Creek on-site supervisor; initial indications were additional costs would be incurred by the customer, however, this was cleared up without a contract cost adjustment; more holes were dug than were needed for the footings, as a result, the pre-existing landscaping was disturbed unnecessarily and the holes were not attended to (back filled, tamped and properly graded) by the contractor, (YET). the PVC porch boards and deck boards that were installed have cosmetic defects (scratches and gorges) that have not been addressed by the contractor (YET). the customer submitted a written discrepancy list but the items have not been addressed by the contactor (YET); the substantial portion of porch and deck were installed with very good workmanship. The project is not finished yet. The Customer encountered some discomfort with NOT receiving updates (FEEDBACK) from Long Creek contractor/salesman after the project started. The Customer had to approach the on-site supervisor to get updates on detailed work plans and work schedules. The Customer did not receive a reply to the detailed list of discrepancies noted during the project (YET). On first glance, the project looks very good but the customer is not totally satisfied YET. There is plenty more for the contractor to do before the project is complete.

Finding a contractor via the Angies List recommendation was "EASY" and convenient. Things became a little more tenuous after selecting Long Creek Construction for the work. The project is not finished (YET). As of 7/29/2016 (~3:30 p.m.) – about 75% done; work started on 7/11/2016 under a written contract; at the onset, the on-site supervisor had to be informed by the customer that the orientation and design of the project was NOT in accordance with the customer’s contracted design/specifications; footing holes were dug and placed incorrectly; upon clarification with the customer, the placement of the footings was corrected; initially the customer was told there would be a contract cost adjustment, but the footing placement correction was made without further mention of any cost adjustment; the porch, deck and steps were constructed and installed quickly and in a professional workmanship manner; several of the boards have defects (gouges and stains) that are not representative of high quality brand new PVC porch and deck boards. These PVC boards were selected by the customer due to their “STAIN AND FADE RESISTANT” feature. Long Creek has not addressed this deficiency (YET). During construction, mud and cement were splashed on numerous areas of the white vinyl, especially the support posts as well as my house. In addition, the siding has incurred a black stain due to the “ice/water roof sheet residue. Long Creek has not addressed this discrepancy (YET). The customer submitted a discrepancy list to Long Creek but the items have not been addressed. (YET). The customer was disappointed with the lack of automatic updates on work schedules, discussions of detailed work plans and progress of the project. The site supervisor was very willing to answer questions but only when asked by the customer. There was not a plan to update the customer automatically or periodically. Overall, the project is proceeding well. The customer is concerned about the lack of contact with the initial contractor/salesman (WYRON) regarding the progress of the project, delays, issues or customer concerns. Interim Inspection Discrepancy List submitted to Long Creek Construction – Observations of 7/25/2016 1. Location: 14 porch boards from house – “Orange Stain” – Right Side 2. Location: Need to caulk siding/edges of screened porch to house – Right Side 3. Location: Need to caulk siding/edges of screened porch to house – Left Side 4. Reminder: As previously discussed, please avoid contact with the Heat Pump Compressor Unit; worker were seen standing on the unit. Please, NO standing on top or NO dropping items onto the Heat Pump Compressor. Future Plans: Continue work to correct discrepancies and complete installation including fascia boards, screen system, storm door, gate, fan, porch ceiling, GFI outlet on porch (maybe), etc., etc., etc.. The customer has not received any response to the above comments that were previously submitted to Long Creek Construction.

Summary: Very good quality work at a reasonable price. Company was generally responsive and was attentive to my inquiries/concerns.
My home needed some improvements when I bought it, including a screened in patio that had its windows removed and boarded over with plywood. The concrete floor had been covered with indoor carpet, and the area was being used as a bedroom.
Carlos from Long Creek came out for our appointment and gave me an estimate on the spot. He drew up a contract the next day (a Saturday), which was missing only one thing. He fixed that and sent a new contract the same evening. It looked good to me, so he came out Sunday to have me sign. He measured for new windows either that night or the next day.
The windows came in the following week, and Long Creek called to schedule the work to start the week after that. Once the team started working, they came almost every weekday until the work was complete (about two weeks). One or two guys did most of the work, with the tile and electric being done by other guys. (I believe the electric work was subcontracted.) Due to the patio being segregated from the house, I did not have to be present for most of the work, except the electric work, which was scheduled accordingly for my day off.
This was the first multi-day job I have had done, so perhaps my expectations were off, but I would have liked to have been kept more informed without having to ask. (For example, whether the team was coming out the next day, or what would be the next steps.) However, Carlos was generally very responsive when I called him or texted him. I think it's okay for both parties to learn what level of interaction is needed, so I don't have any real complaints.
Long Creek immediately addressed the very minor points I raised during the work (paint touch-up and window leveling), and I am very satisfied with the work they did. The workers were conscientious, friendly, and cleaned up every day. I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future.

The owner of the company showed up on schedule to look at the roof.
The proposal was delivered as promised the next morning with no surprises. It included all the work that we had discussed.
Price was very reasonable.
Work started on schedule and was completed within one day.
Clean up at the job sight was wonderful.
The new roof looks amazing!

Excellent.
Carlos arrived on time to provide the free estimate. His estimate was 50 percent lower than the two other AL rated construction companies. The crew arrived on time, completed all work ahead of the estimated time and removed all debris without additional charge. They even took some extra debris away for no extra charge.
They were great. The accidentally disconnected the dryer hose while putting in the new sink in the laundry room and came back and reattached it at no additional cost. They were polite, professional and their work was A #1. I will definitely have them come back when I need additional work.
The service was fine. Long Creek was very willing to work with my budget. We selected items that were in stock or on sale and that helped the budget. The plumber was very professional and experienced in keeping the plumbing cost down and keeping the layout of the piping simple. I was distressed when getting bids from other plumbers that tried to over complicate the work. The plumber and Long Creek explained how the work could be simply, efficiently, and safely done. I was pleased with that. They are coming to my home to give a bid again for a different project. The Long Creek owner made all of the difference up front by saying that no job was too small. This put me at ease and made me believe my job was important to them.

The service was good. They did the fixture and the plate and did not charge for it. I had two contractors working on my house at that time. They did send a Christmas card two years in a row which was nice.
