Single owner/operator. Electrician since 1995. Licensed in NC since 1998. Before starting my own business in 2002 I was the electrical foreman on such projects as: Pardee Medical Office building; Polk County Courthouse; Warren Wilson College Library; Cooper-Riis Mental Health Facility; Cherry Springs Assisted Living; Pardee Operating rooms. I have provided gallery lighting for the following locations: Silver Fox; Wickwire; Number 7 Arts; TC Arts Council; The Studio at Flat Rock and others.

Alan Tulip is phenomenal and his price is good. Hung 2 fans and replaced some of our electrical outlets. Professionally done; work area kept clean and tidy. Had to do over 2 visits due to a defect in original fan. Cut a price break on his time which he did not need to do. Fans are installed properly and do not wobble. Always on time. Will hire again as needed.

Got three estimates from among the top ranked electricians on Angie's List and all were triple or quadruple the price of what Mr. Tulip charged. He was very courteous and, as stated before, very affordable. He even helped me assemble a sauna for only a nominal charge. He is a real find. Get him while you can.

Alan is very professional and courteous, always shows up on time and is very efficient at his work. I'm a retired builder and have used many electricians over the years. Alan is as good as they get. There is no wasted time or motion, his rates are fair for the speed he works and the quality of the work. As a builder, quality was paramount to me.
