It didn't go very well.

<p>Previously, we contracted with this company to put on a new roof, add siding, add two dormers, and do some framing. We gave them an A rating for that work. They bid to put up some drywall, mud, and sand shortly after. We felt comfortable from our previous experience so we hired them. Our job was supposed to use 70-80 sheets of drywall and the original time line was 3 days. They informed us some framing needed to be fixed which would cost an extra $600 and I assume take additional time, but no additional time frame was provided. This task ended up taking 6 weeks to complete. There were multiple occasions where we were told workers would be out our home to work, so we left a door unlocked, and they didn't show up, and we were not told until we found out after we got home from work. Further, the quality of the drywall taping, mud, and sanding was terrible. After 6 weeks, my husband and I painted and you could see every seam and even chunks of un-sanded drywall mud. We called and the same person who did the mud before came to re-do it. After a couple of days he said he was all done. We did not even paint before we noticed it was obvious he still had not sanded areas that needed to be sanded. We call again and the owner, Donnie, sent a different guy to sand and mud for the third time. Overall, this guy made some improvements, but told me the first person who did it did so bad that it will never look like new construction, like is should. (we had this entire space down to the studs)Then, there was cracking in some seams, again, so the owner sent a third person to mud and sand a fourth time (this is all within a few weeks of completion, this is not due to home settling etc). Since then, we have painted and finished our remodel. You cans till see some seams, and corners are cracking. This indicates to me that the original person did not tape the corners or seams appropriately. At this point, this company had delayed our project so long we just needed to move on. I really do not know how to go about making the walls look perfect. They never will I guess. </p> <p>To top it off, the owner lost our house key. It took a couple weeks of my husband constantly hounding him to get him to pay to have our key replaced. Towards the end, the owner was clearly annoyed with our constant complaints, having the nerve at one point to tell me he was doing his best to be nice through this whole situation. Any reputable company should have been working hard, if not harder to provide us, paying customers, with a project we were happy with. Honestly, we should have gotten some money back or something. The final product still looks bad. Overall, we paid this company about $22,000 for renovations (roof, siding, dormers, windows, framing, drywall). The project they helped with should look like new construction. Not only is the drywall finish bad, the walls in the dormers they built and framed are crooked, which we found out when trying to install baseboard. Also, one window in the dormer they built is crooked. The owner's solution was to lift the side of a window seat we builtt up an inch to "make the window look straight."</p> <p>Overall, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Not only did they do a bad job, I never once got even an apology for it. I was never offered a real solution for the problem. The owner constantly reminded us how much of a burden we were because "he was losing business because our job was taking so long." His employees do not know how to hang drywall and he does not have a reliable person to tape, mud, or sand. He advertised a service he could not provide.</p>

there was an initial scheduling snafu; office scheduled appoint on inspector's day off.    <br /> Inspector was on time, took pictures of roof, and reglued some shingles.   He suggested a new roof.  <br />

It went great!  We had just bought an older house, knowing that we would have to replace the roof soon.  We needed some ideas of how to fix certain areas and pricing.  We were also unsure of the overall quality of the roof.    The salesperson did an inspection, fixed a few spots, and explained everything thoroughly. <br />

Okay.  I think I might of used there service for like a tune up of the roof.  They were nice.  They came on time.  It was a good service.

I purchased a service coupon through Angie's List for the work.  The only issue was the fact that my roof was too steep for them to service with the equipment and personnel they brought to the first appointment.  Upon realizing the problem, they apologized and rescheduled for the next sunny day and performed the work without any problem at all.  They were punctual, friendly and professional throughout the entire process.  I'd use them again without hesitation. <br />

It went great. Donnie was on time and very polite.  I would recommend using this company in the future. <br />

Found that our 15-year old roof had some shingles lifted and broken by wind, recommended replacement. <br />

The company representative gave me advice on several matters and made me feel hopeful about the condition of my roof as I prepare to sell my childhood home. <br />

Donnie and his team were excellent to work with, did a quality job with our roof, mold, and ceiling repair issues. Very professional, communicative, and reasonable. <br />

<p>Fortunately my roof was in in pretty good shape overall.  They came out, took a look at where we had a leak, pointed out some areas of concern and walked around on the roof.  They did hammer in a couple popped nails.  They didn't try to determine the cause of the leak.  They did point out where the flashing needed nailed down better and resealed, but did not do any of this work.  So for $99, I got a couple nails secured and a list of maintenance I will do myself since I already spent $100.  It might be a better deal for someone else, but it was not cost effective for me.  </p> <br />

<p>Louisville Roofing and Remodeling did a wonderful job. Mike, who was our project manager and provided us with the estimates, was very kind and answered all questions. Donnie, the owner of the company, was onsite almost every day to check progress and he framed in our attic. Our old roof was removed, replaced, and dormers up in one day. the siding and framing followed shortly after. Donnie was willing to build any interior walls and patiently walked me through the measurements of picking where to put our bathroom wall, how big of a door we could fit with our sloped ceilings, etc. The 3D shingles were provided for the same price as the regular shingles. Everything was completed as contracted and in a timely manner. They started work on our home the same week we signed the contract. Donnie provided us with the permit and his contractor license before beginning the work on our home. Workers were polite and cleaned up all of the debris prior to leaving our house. We really enjoyed working with this company. We plan to use them for future home renovations down the road.</p>

This company is great!  Donnie was quick to repond to my call and was very flexible about meeting.  He even talked to the insurance adjustor when I got frustrated trying to get a straight answer out them.  His crew showed up on time and finished in one day!  They completely cleaned up after themselves and were courteous and well mannered the entire time they were on-site.  My roof looks fabulous and I'm no longer worried about water leaking in and damaging my home. I didn't list the price because I was only out my deductible and I know that varies for people. I highly recommend these guys!

Removed and replaced  roof and re-sided quickly .Were very helpful in picking colors.
