Mr. Perez was very knowledgeable, professional, prompt, courteous and honest. He kept his word and performed the service in a very timely manner. His thorough report/evaluation identified issues that the insurance adjuster omitted. I would definitely use him again.

Wonderful!! Mr. Perez knows what he is doing and he is honest. He will do his best to help you without draining your bank account, and will not perform unnecessary tasks in order to collect more money. He is very thorough in his reporting and the entire process-from booking our appointment, to his visit, to receiving his report and drawings-was very quick...probably a week, at most. Horrible service. He never completed or submitted the report he promised. He did not respond to texts after payment was made. At the site he would not go into the attic stating the $500 he charged was not enough money for that. I would beware of this provider.

During that time we had a breakdown in our computer and lost important information among them was your request. Also, you may have been text-messaging to our land line because we never got your messages. We have been in business for over 32 years and always respond to my clients needs. You can check this with another provider Home-Advisor where we have over 60 positive reviews and no negative reviews. We would offer a 50% return of the cost for the report, if you would consider changing or removing your review."

I had to get someone to do structural inspection quickly and Luis seemed to be the only person available. All others were busy, taking vacation, or not responsive. Price was more expensive than what others offered but my area was Sussex county and I needed an engineer asap. Report turnaround was the next day (wow!). <br /> <br /> There were some follow up questions I asked Luis but I felt he was being too professional in answering them, I guess that can be a good thing for them, but not for me. I was just looking for basic opinions on the shape of the house but Luis was for some reason representing these questions as some kind of warranty. I'm not sure if this is the norm for structural engineers, but whatever. <br /> <br /> Anyways, Luis was great, I wish the price was cheaper for what I got but I guess the urgency of the inspection made up for it.

FANTASTIC! Luis was able to provide a solution to our structural problem, while being responsive and professional. Due to the nature of the real estate transaction, we had to work with urgency. Luis responded promptly to my request and came by at a short notice. He assessed the situation and drew up the engineer report in the next couple of days. I submitted the report to the town building inspector and they approved it. <br /> I had a satisfactory experience. <br />

I called LRP Engineering (Luis) in early September as I noticed a crack in my brick siding. I felt comfortable with him as he explained his work and costs. I've called several other engineers and firms. And although LRP was a little bit higher than the other two I talked to, I felt the most comfortable with him after reading reviews and speaking to him on the phone. <br /> We had set up an appointment for a few days after. And he was prompt and punctual. He came with his assistant (his son). They both were very thorough in taking pictures, taking notes, measurements, etc. They both took their time with the assessment. He answered all my questions as I am the type of person that likes to ask a lot of questions. After everything they needed, we sat down together and went over his assessment and gave me several recommendations even to the point of drawing diagrams and views of the issue and the solutions. <br /> After a few days, he sent me his report which was thorough and complete with pictures. <br /> I will definitely use him in the future before purchasing my next home as it seems like he had a keen eye, thorough, spent time with me in answering my questions and going through this assessment/solutions, and seemed like he knew a lot about structural issues and recommendations to remedy them. I kind of wish I had used him before purchasing my current home. Maybe I wouldn't have to go through the work that I need to do now. <br />

Luis and his son arrived for a structural inspection and confirmed my fears about the garage in question which was attached to a house I wanted to buy. He took extensive notes and took pictures of the structural issues we had. He completed his report within a couple of days noting all deficiencies and concerns from his experience and knowledge. I was able to use his report to ask for repairs from the sellers. The sellers trenched behind the garage main wall and Luis from LRP came back out to do a proper re-inspection to check for proper footings and found none. A re-inspection report was issued promptly noting any improvements since the last visit as well as the outstanding deficiencies. Luis and son provided excellent service and I would re-use them again if needed.

Luis came out on a days notice to come review the structural integrity of an exiting retaining wall on a property i was purchasing. He was very knowledgeable about retaining walls systems and cause of failure. He provided a full report that very evening, which was very appreciated! The report was detailed and provided pictures and an estimated repair cost. The inspection and report was $500. I have not basis for comparison for a structural engineer review which is why i gave the company a "B" rating for cost. I was told by a friend that $500 was a good price to have a structural review, but like i said, i still have nothing to compare it to. I believe it is a good and competitive cost for the inspection. <br />

Luis found a remedy for a staircase ceiling that did not meet township code. It involved installing a steel post and a new header as well as modifying a closet above. <br /> The plans took loinger than anticiapted and then when they were reviewed, the contractor who was going to do the actual work found and error that had to be corrected on the plans. <br /> Luis seemed more concerned with getting the township construction officer approval than the best possible alternative for us. We had a contract on our house and needed the modification done as quickly as possible. Otherwise we would have gotten another opinion. <br />

"My portion of the work was not $4000.00 it was $1600.00. Client never called me back to report that the plans needed addtional work. We do not know how my signed plans were corrected or who corrected them. Normally plans return to engineer for correction. Plans were submitted in adequate time. We have adds in Home Advisor and may review (over 45) are rated at 4.86 out of 5.0 maximum. It is strange that client did not call anytime about the things they are stating."

Our insurance company had initially sent out a structural engineer who did such a poor assessment of the property we decided to hire our own to appeal the denial that was made on foundation damages based on the first engineers report. Luis was very knowledgeable and detail oriented. His report was very through and accurate. We were able to win our appeal based on his findings and the presentation of his work. Thank You Luis!
