(Bad Installation) Lucenti installed my new garage door in June. I found there are noise sounds two days later. I called him and he admitted the issue. He said he will come back to fix it. (Worst services) But, he never showed up for a month. In July, I called him again and set up the schedule. He did not show up four schedules nor returned my calls/texts. I hired a lawyer. Updated 9/29/21 (Illegal business) My lawyer, after the review of my complaint against Lucenti, he found there is no invoice that require in New Jersey State by the law. Very tricky business.

"To [member name removed] review this was the second garage door I had installed for him at the same residence after I had installed the door he had called me and told me there was a clicking noise and I told him if it had continued let me know I will come back and take care of it when I couldn't make it he then proceeded to reverse the credit card charges for the $1200 he had payed me for the door so after he did that I received a letter from his Attorney telling me I have 10 days to go back and repair the door or he was going to pay another garage door company over $900 dollars they had quoted him to repair the brand new door I had just installed for him not he or his Attorney could I get on the phone nor has the Attorney return my call after 2 messages and talking to a woman who answered the phone and told me he would call me back so why would I even consider going back to fix a door I hadn't gotten payed for? I would be more than happy to come and repair the door if someone would just get back to me and not insist that I come when they want me to show up instead of me coming when I can get it on my schedule also his Tenant has been using the door this whole time the door is totally functional so it's not like it was ever an emergency so I can't comprehend the overreaction of the door making a clicking noise"

I asked him if $2500 would work for the final price and he said yes, misplaced invoice. when he finished the work he said it was $3000. He took the check and was going to look for the original invoice. He then cashed the check and now said that he will write me a new invoice instead of locating the original to prove it was only $2500. He also took off with two of my garage door openers. He was personable and did good work but I could be out $500, as well my openers.

After waiting a few weeks for the material, finally Bill and assistant (Jeff) arrived right on time. They both were kind and helpful answering any questions we had whilst working on our installation. The work was completed and all the old stuff taken away with them. A very good experience. I recommend Lucenti to anyone needing door replacement or just a repair.

We first asked for villa help when one of our garage doors failed while we were out of the house. He came promptly and fixed. Since the. We have had our entire garage doors and openers replaced by Bill. He’s been very responsive and precise in his work. He clearly knows his stuff. I’d hire Bill again in a heartbeat!

Bill is very friendly and installed is a new lift master with new rollers and sensors and assisted my family and I in learning how to use the new system. While we were finishing learning about the app options and what all the buttons did my mother & I forgot to ask about the keypad to be installed which was part of Bill’s initial estimate. He left for the day after we realized he was supposed to include a keypad and he would not pick up our calls. Throughout the week I was emailing him and surprised to learn that he too forgot the keypad and had to go to the warehouse to get one for us. A week later he did install the keypad, but only let me know an hour before he would be arriving before I could make it home. Yes, the job was done and his pricing is great, but I wanted to discuss with him in person that it felt unprofessional for him to forget something included in his estimate. I also think it was unprofessional for me to be asking the whole week when he was planning on coming and he only told me the day of at around 11:15. By 11:15 everyone in my home was at work and could not be there to meet him within the hour. Maybe he assumed someone would be home because of covid-19, but we are all essential workers and have to come into work anyhow. So, sure, hire him for his pricing and the work is totally fine, but like some other reviews be aware his communication skills are really frustrating.

"Hi [Member Name Removed] thank you for the review and also I did email you back that I would let you know when I would be coming back to install the keypad . and as far as knot returning phone calls I dealt with you via emails and text messages so if someone needed to get in touch with just simply leave a voice message and I will return the call if you are returning to multiple calls in a row from a number unknown I was unaware it was a family member if they would have left a message I would have known who it was also I told you I thought I had a keypad on my van and was mistaken so it was a few days before I could get to the warehouse to pick one up also I gave you the keypad for no additional charge also you have two remotes as well as the WIFI for your phone so it wasn't like you couldn't get into the garge I had to wait for an opening in my schedule to run over there to install the keypad sorry it didn't line up with anyone being home thank you again for your buisness Bill Lucenti"

Bill came and took care of the problem. He analyzed the issue and fixed it. I have 2 garage doors, he even looked at the 2nd garage door at my request and fine tuned it after I had already paid him for the original repair at no additional cost. Very reasonable in terms of cost.

Bill was absolutely excellent. He responded to my call within 12 hrs. He came over and gave me an estimate that was lower than every other one for a much better door. The work was done perfectly. I couldn't be happier. The garage door works and looks exactly the way I wanted it to. Bill is extremely competent, dependable and very pleasant to work with.

Bill has been giving me the run around for the last 3 months, giving silly childish excuses as to why he cannot fix the garage door. He took the circuit board saying that he will replace it and never came back since. I have been calling him and leaving text message. Zero response on when he can come and fix it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR
