Diego from Lukes HVAC came to fix my heater Dec 2025. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Diego s work blew out my system, resulting in both heater and A/C running simultaneously. He came back in Jan 2026 to replace the thermostat, which resolved the simultaneous running systems issue. Diego s negligence in Dec resulted in triple electricity and gas usage between the exact day/time of his visits, as well as having to replace the thermostat (which he broke). After THREE MONTHS of trying to reach Daniel Lawlis, the owner, he finally returned my calls. Mr. Lawlis promised he would reimburse the $900 I had to pay out of pocket (for the gas/electricity spike and thermostat replacement) due to his company s negligence. He never followed through, to this day, even though he made repeated promises to and *make it right*. Sadly, my HVAC system STILL does not work properly. The marketing claim that -customer satisfaction is top priority* is false! I regret ever calling this sham company.

Got a response very quickly; they came by, very courteous, helpful. It was difficult to get a very good estimate since the issue could not be diagnosed without additional investigation that requires some work and cost, but the technician was helpful. Ultimately, the repair would found to be comparatively quick and it was fixed within a few hours of my calling the pros. Great job!

Major leak under the slab of an older home ($40 a day in water leaking). They did a partial repipe to solve the issue without breaking the bank and also replaced a 19 year old water heater. They were quick and easy to work with. I appreciated most that they were able to come up with an affordable solution to my problem.

He explained everything to us (the procedure, best next steps, etc), in a way, my 70+ yr. old Mom could understand and was happy with, which put her at ease with the process and him. Jason is also knowledgeable, personable, efficient, and thorough. We're very happy with Luke's and Jason!!

Only one of the drains that were worked on still drain after one week. And the pricing was much more expensive than expected for unclogging two drains and fixing the seal on a sink.

Everything went well despite the difficulties encountered with the removal of the old water heater (awkward location in a small utility area that was very wet). Anthony with Budget Home Services, Fairbanks North Houston location, was extremely knowledgeable, answered all questions thoroughly and patiently and installed my new water heater and made sure everything was correct. Some items needed to be brought up to code (as I live in an older home), and this was done during the installation procedure as well. I cannot recommend Budget Home Services enough! We will only use this company for our home services as they arise. They are prompt, professional, and courteous plus....they have great product knowledge and expertise! Highly recommend!

My A/C just quit working, they come out and very honest with what is wrong with it, and they were able to fix it.

Never had any problem with their service. They were very knowledgeable, they dig underneath the house to install new pipes, and they did the job in one whole day.

Had a clamp on the leaky pipe, so no emergency existed. I contacted Budget for quote on Monday, price was much better than two other plumbers had quoted, including the one that attached the clamp. Plumbers arrived the next morning as scheduled, quickly and professionally replaced the section with the leak. All done with a minimum of delay or inconvenience. I would not hesitate to recommend Budget Home Services to friends or neighbors. <br /> They also quoted me on replacing all the old galvanized pipe, or as an alternate, just the horizontal sections. This may be necessary in the future, since all our pipe is original, from 1976. <br />

Everything went well.  I called early morning of 6.17.13, and the plumber arrived around 10 a.m.  They were professional and courteous.  <br /> The only downside was that they had to charge the $97.50 fee for coming out, which I wasn't too disappointed about because it was an education on how water heaters work.  We'll know next time! <br /> <br />
