Ive been using LHI for some time now and they never fail to deliver high quality projects. With their help, I have flipped several houses now. This last one located in Wayne, they have gutted fully for me. They installed and finished off all the drywall, remodelled a kitchen and two bathrooms and painted. The only other company i had to call was for the roof and siding making the process and collaboration on this projext a breeze. I recomend them to anyone looking to remodel their home or for help with flipping one.

It went very well. Used LHI based on a recomendation of a co-worker. They did a terrific job remodelling our guest bathroom, replacing tge drywall in basement and installing new trim in it. They also painted several other rooms. Great experience. Very professional, punctual,reasonably priced contractors.

I feel sorry for amyone that had an opportunity to work with this family owned, local business, and wind up using someone else. Ive had an amazing experience with Jay, his brother Serge and the crew that worked on my home for 3 weeks. They have worked closely with my designer and painted the entire home. We also found out that they do carpemtry too and had them do the ceiling trays in the great room. I will be recomending them to all of my family. Terrific job LHI!

Splendid. I was referred to LHI by an acquintnance who they have done work for and who was raving about how they remodeled their bathroom. I hired them to turn an old out of shape apartment into a unit I am now renting for $1600 a month. The tiny bathroom in tgis apartment was gutted along with kitchen. They completely rebuilt everything head to toe and did major improvements. Everything was done in house, electrical, tile, carpentry and painting were all competed by professionals. The result, an apartment that I feel bad renting out amd want to move into myself. I recomend them 10 times over.

I have been using LHI for several years now and have always had nothing but great experiences with their painting, carpentry and tile work. I had them fully remodell 2 of our bathrooms a few weeks back and couldnt be happier. Properly spaced lines between tiles and cometely flat after checking with a level. Highly suggest them for all remodelling projects.

LHI painted out last two houses inside and out, his work was solid, they showed up on time every day and even completed the job in less time than anticipated. Whenever we were not happy with something Jay did his best to make sure we were happy and made it perfect. I will stick with LHI for all my projects.

We contracted LHI to paint our master bedroom, bathroom, closet and hallway renovation project. The project consisted of painting all-new doors, windows, and trim, as well as minor spackling and sanding of the walls. The project scope included 4 new doors, 2 sets of triple grouped double hung windows, and two separate double hung windows. All had new trim/moldings around them, and the windows all had new sills. We rarely hire painters as I can do a reasonable job at it, my only demerit of being a slow painter. We felt like we were splurging to have painting done by a professional - it would faster than I would do it and it would be neat and clean and trim. With all of that new trim and true 6 panel rail and style pine doors we looked forward to the beauty a clean, crisp professional paint job which would show it all off wonderfully. That is not what we got as a finished product. Not at all. Attached are photos of one door panel, two corner moldings of two of the doors, and one of the window sills. I’ll give credit to LHI on the walls - they were finished smoothly, with no visible marks or blemishes. All of the wood trim, the doors, the baseboards, and the window sills are another matter entirely. Thick, gloppy paint and sealant resulted in what one friend described as: “they made your brand new doors and trim look like a 100 year old house with 20 coats of paint”. I was livid. On the original completion day I spoke with Jay Abramov about the extremely poor quality. He sent Slava out to review the work, agreed that it needed remedy, and committed to sending a new crew, with Slava, out the next Monday. The crew showed up Monday morning, with Slava, and set up for work. Upon the end of the day they stated they had completed the remedial work, and demanded payment (per the wording of the contract). The work was NOT completed to any satisfactory measure. Upon further review of the project I determined that LHI would not be able to actually remedy the poor paint work and set about stripping all of the trim and doors - so that I could repaint them to an acceptable level of finish. As of typing this I’ve spent more than 24 hours stripping wood details down to bare wood. I surely wouldn’t want to have to see the lousy work every time I walked through a doorway or placed a hand on a rough, gritty windowsill. I’ve since spoken with Jay about this and he strongly offered to come out and make the situation 100% perfect… But having seen both the original work, and then their remedial work, I have zero confidence they could actually do much better. Also to note - one of the reasons I picked LHI was based on their Angie’s List rating. After this all transpired I went back to look more closely at their customer reviews. What really struck me was how many reviews they had during the January-February 2019 timeframe. They had 2 to 4 5-star reviews every day for well over a month. I ask every single customer to share their opinions on my business so that customers like yourself can verify how outstanding my company’s work is. As discussed in a phone conversation, I’m very sorry that you are unhappy with the work we have done for you. Our strict policy is to never abandon a project unless a customer is happy. If there are any areas of our work your are unhappy with, we will gladly fix those to your satisfaction given the opportunity. I believe that the pictures you are now submitting are those of what the trim looked like before we came, sanded it down and repainted it, at which point your wife checked out the work and was happy as well as paid us in full. Now to the real reason for all this, Our strict policy is to collect a payment when the project is finished and the walkthrough is completed to the customers satisfaction. You have signed a contract acknowledging this. I’m sorry that asking you to come home and do a walkthrough since our crew is finished came as a surprise for you and made for a negative experience. Unfortunately, because of some cases of having to track people for weeks to collect, this policy is in place. Even that said, given no choice of being able to do that, you were given an opportunity to have us come back at 8pm later that evening. As far as the reviews you are referring to they are all real, true and came from our customers. The reason you are seeing several reviews at a time, as explained in a phone conversation with you, is because at that time we were submitting, as per Angie’s list policy, a list of up To 6 customers we have previously done work for. Angie’s list collects names, numbers, addresses, then call s a customer to get that review from them and finally posts it for us. Finally, if we are as bad as you say we are, don’t you think we would have a lot more bad reviews than just yours? Anyone that knows us and knows what kind of work we do, anyone that knows Angie’s list, knows that our reviews can be trusted because we stick to the policy of never leaving until the customer is thrilled with work. We hired LHI twice to remove wallpaper, different painters came each time. The first painters were extremely fast and efficient. The second painters had a lot of difficulty removing the wallpaper because there were multiple laters of wallpaper. Both times the painters were very punctual, clean and professional.

Luxury home improvements did interior painting of my whole condo. It came out phenomenal. I am still in awe as I gaze around at the walls. I can’t believe it is the same place. Excellent work. The team arrived on time and got everything done very efficiently. While I was out buying matching paint, they got everything else completed. Didn't waste a single minute of time. In addition, they calked cracks in our hall bath for free. The best painting team we have either used. Will definitely hire them again!

Hands down the best company I had the pleasure of dealing with. They did some drywall repair and painting at my house, their work is excellent. They made the process simple and stress free. I have a rental property that turned over and needed painting. I purchased the Angie’s list deal with Luxury Home Improvements. Serge contacted me promptly to set up a time to look at the job. He came out within a few days to scope the job and determine the amount of time and paint that would be needed. Two people came as scheduled to do the job. They worked quickly and professionally and did an excellent job. They patched, repaired, and caulked anything that needed it and completed the entire job in 2.5 days (a significant amount of work). I will keep their card handy for the next job. Will definitely use them again.
