It went so well. Lynn helped me pick out tile and even went with me to the stores. Her eye is flawless and the final look was just what I wanted. The project took place in Florida while I was in New York, so Lynn handled every detail and always kept me in the loop. She worked with another excellent professional who is a contractor, Steve Wallace, who did the actual work Working with Lynn has been a pleasure and if you hire her you will not be sorry! I wish I had another project to do, because it was such a good experience!!!

Began great. Great computer renderings and help making a plan. Then the delays began. Multiple problems arose from poor measurements and planning. Worst of all was $7,000 built in refrigerator did not fit. Contractor made many efforts to fix but after fixing so many of her mistakes he told me he would never work with her again and walked away from the job leaving lots unfinished. It is 7 months later and my refridgerator still has no hardware and does not fit, panels on end cabinet never obtained or installed, panel and sides of hood never done. Wood flooring never completed with bare concrete steps. Plastering and dry wall fixes that were promised never done. Her electrician never completed work either. Mistakes happen and if you are a responsible adult professional you look to fix them. She got paid and walked away from all the problems. I hired Lynn because of all the positive reviews on Angie's List. But now I don't believe for a second they are real. Truly one of the worst experienced in my life.

I really trust them I've seen their work, I've dealt with the owner. they did do any direct work for me but I referred them to other people to do work. The company did work for my neighbor as well and the renovated, they converted like the patio into like a living room and it's really good, they put in the lighting the flooring and they work with contractors so they are able to pull permits and do everything the right way.

<p>We are extremely happy that we contacted Lynn about our kitchen.  The end product is beautiful!  Prior to contacting Lynn we had met with other contractors who were prepared to do what we wanted at a reasonable price.  The problem was needed a consultant to go over options with us and advise us on what we should do that mes our needs.  We finally found that with Lynn.  She came out and talked with us about our remodel and gave us ideas we never would have contemplated on our own.  She was also successful in meeting some of our needs that other contractors suggested would not be possible.  We ended up spending more money than planned but we are very happy with the final product, and increasing the spending was our choice not something that was pushed on us.  Frankly, without her advice we would have spend quite a bit of money and been unhappy with the result.  </p> <p>Lynn builds her business based on customer service.  She's very professional, prompt and follows though to do what she says she is going to do.  We were very pleased with this experience and strongly recommend her services.  </p>

We met with Lynn several times while she developed the bath and kitchen designs. The designs were creative and beautiful. <br /> She refered us to contractors. Lynn works with only with the best. They were highly skilled, courteous and conscientious. <br /> They also put up plastic sheeting and paper barriers and cleaned up after themselves daily. <br /> Lynn visited our home and talked to the contractors to direct the work throughout the process. <br />   <br /> We are delighted with our new kitchen and master bath.  Friends, family and neighbors are amazed at how beautiful and functional they are.  My husband and I recommend Lynn to all Angie's list subscribers. We know you will be as happy as we are. <br />

<p><br /></p> <p>Lynn's work is absolutely on the money.  Everything looks spectacular and fit in perfectly.  After narrowing the entrance way about a foot in order to have a 7 1/2 foot by 30 inch deep "COSTCO" supplies closet, a slop sink and a storage area for our 3 section rolling hamper (in order to accommodate the plumbing and required passage way)Lynn added and new pocket doors (instead of the former conventional door to the kitchen).  We liked the pocket doors so much that we continued installing pocket doors throughout the entire house. Prior to the renovation we had only a washer and dryer in addition to the much smaller and totally enclosed kitchen.  The kitchen suffered from inadequate storage space as well as insufficient cabinet space.  Our kitchen now has plenty of cabinet space, food storage and closet space. Our kitchen is the talk of our 1,600 unit gated community, thanks to Lynn.  We really like the granite counter top which is 155 inches long by 48 inches wide and includes a stainless steel sink which is 30 inches long by 18 inches wide and 10 inches deep.  We have 5 bar height leather stools with arms at the counter.  The kitchen also includes 2  slide-out pantries that are 8 foot high on either side of a 36 inch wide 31 cubic foot stainless steel refrigerator.</p> <p>Thanks to Lynn Austin we are now living in a house that has exceeded our wildest dreams!</p> <br />

This was our first experience ever of doing anything of this magnitude.  We could not have made it through the process without Lynn. <br />

Lynn was there for me all the way even through some difficult construction problems.  I was out of town at times through this and she went in and took pictures and forwarded them to me to see the progress, or lack of.  She had all the cabinets sent to her and then delivered here to the condo when they were ready for them.  I could not have asked for a better person to help through this project.  After the construction people left several problems with the cabinets ( they installed them in the wrong places, etc.) she sent her guy here to fix all the problems so at the end, I have a beautiful renewed kitchen and baths.  Lynn is the best and I could not have asked for anyone better to work with.  She constantly kept me up on all aspects of her work.   <br /> In the end, I should have had her "general" my project and I would have had much less problems!! <br />

Lynn immediately began organizing the various components go our re-build including working with our building management, staff, contractors and the town.  She made sure all staff had licenses, insurances, created a time line for the work to be done and even provided constant updates.  She is a very affordable must have if your not present during your job.  Worth every single penny.  Reliability is the theme here.

Lynn Austin Home is a company that stands above the rest.  We moved to our older home in June 2013 and have had many projects and good contractors (thanks to Angie's list).  After reading reviews about Lynn last Fall, I called her to see if she could help us remodel an already existing and very ugly master bath.  I was not sure if she would be able to help us because of the distance from her office to our home.  Thankfully, she said "yes".   We wanted to keep the shower area, but desperately needed new vanities and countertops.  Lynn was able to come up with a lovely drawing for the bathroom and another project involving the new linen/cat closet(see above).  It is a pleasure to walk into our bathroom and see such a difference.  Lynn is a wonderful designer and also has extremely high integrity.   She answers my emails immediately and is always available for a question.  I am so grateful to have been able to work with her and we are now working together on a built-in for our family room.  It is easy to envision exactly what any project will look like because of the excellent software she uses to make the rendering. <br /> I read, with interest, the "D" that Lynn has received recently.  It is laughable and I can assure anyone reading reviews about Lynn's company to not waste time reading such a ridiculous and nasty review.  The writer of that review is the biggest loser because he/she has no idea just how pleasant it would have been working with Lynn Austin. <br />

I needed a person who was familiar with a particular type of kitchen cabinet installation.  Lynn gave me a fabulous installer for my job and even called me back to follow up and to make sure that the installer got in touch with me.  She is an exceptional business woman and a delight to deal with.  I would not hesitate to use her for future design and build projects!

The process was quick and painless but I never felt rushed or pressured. Lynn took her time and made as many changes as we needed. The final product was amazing and exactly what we wanted. We would definitely recommend her and will be calling her back for future projects. <br />
