I hired them to do work on my walkway and because of the weather our appointment date had been pushed back several times. It is now April and winter has broken and we have heard nothing from them. I had sent an e-mail to them and Angie's List two weeks back and still have heard nothing from them regarding scheduling.

Well, the company contacted me on time and set up a convenient date for the project.  I had some questions regarding lawn care since there was alot of dead grass covering the lawn.  I eventually received an email response, but it took about a month after initiating the request for answers <br />

he didn't show up right time. I had to call him couple of times to get an appointment. over seeding was not done well.  i felt like it wasn't worth to buy that coupon. <br />

Alex did exactly as promised and I'm very happy with the results.  I was delighted that Alex came up with a great compromise between the amount of money I wanted to spend and the service my lawn really needed.  Several months later my lawn is in much better shape thanks to Alex.

They did the work as described but the quality was so so.  They said overseed but just threw down some seed in a few thin spots.  It was very inexpensive so we got what we paid for. <br />

Purchased the fall season package for aeration and overseeding. I wanted to purchase the patio package too for $599 but missed the deadline. Later found that there was some miscommunication between Angie's and Lyon on that patio deal, so good that I did not purchase. From what I learned that the 10x10 ft patio set would cost at least twice the listed deal price and I can understand that. It was too good to be true in the first place. Anyways I do not think Lyon should be penalized with bad reviews for a mistake done by Angies. Such things have occurred for me earlier at Angie's. Coming back to my $129 deal - the description said upto 8000 sq ft of aeration and over seeding , but again there's was some miscommunication between the provider and Angie's. The actual thing was aeration for xxxx sq ft(my house had a medium sized yard only so I am not sure how far he would go on the free thing) and only 1000 sq ft of seeding which is essentially a 30x30 ft area He came over to my house and

Not only did they do the aeration and overseeding service, but they also treated my lawn with fertilizer and lime at no charge (to make up for a slight scheduling issue).  Communication was great, price was right, and work was done professionally.  If they were based closer to my home, I probably would have hired Alex to help tackle the rest of my lawn care needs.

Lyon Landscape Nursery was excellent and did a great job. I was very happy with the design and plant selection. The price was reasonable after seeing everything that they did. They worked hard, communicated well with us, let us know what was going to happen before they started, did what they said they would do, followed through. We had a follow up conversation at the end. We felt like we knew what we had. The design drawing was adjusted for some of the plants that had been swapped out from the initial drawing so we knew what was where.

I called Alex Wednesday morning for the removal of some tree limbs and brush I had piled in my driveway, by Thursday morning the pile was removed at the best quote I found.  Everyone else wanted 2 or 3 times what Alex quoted me and called me back a week later.  Thanks AlexGreg, Medway MA

The project went great and looks fantastic.  Alex started when he said he would and his crew was polite, courteous and extremely hard-working.  Alex helped us design the backyard and the end result was fantastic.  He designed a beautifully designed patio three times the original one made of bluestone and brick accents with two brick retaining walls.  It looks amazing.  His crew worked meticulously on every detail.  Additionally, his team took down all the trees in the backyard and cleaned out the ground extending our yard by 30%.  The new tree line is red cedars.  They are beautiful and tall enough to create an immediate privacy line.  The ground was leveled out and hydroseeded.  Grass is growing in beautifully (took about 3 weeks).  We had a swingset and sandbox that the crew moved and replaced upon completion.  Additionally, the area all around the house was edged/mulched/touched up.  Everything looks beautiful.  We are excited to use our yard this summer and every summer from here on out.  Thank you, Alex.

The job turned out pretty well. Alex did his homework to determine the proper way to connect the plastic pipe to the existing concrete pipe. He had originally planned to make the storm drain basin out of stone salvaged from the retaining wall. I was not comfortable with  how this was turning out (I did not think it would hold up over the long term), so he agreed to change course and build it out of block. It turned out excellent. He brought in a lot of sandy fill to fill the area in. If I have a gripe, it would be that the layer of loam on top is pretty thin. I would have preferred 1 truck load less sand and one more of loam. This culvert only carries water in the spring, so I can only now see that the water is moving well through the system and everything is working as we had hoped. I think this job turned out to be a little more work than planned and took a day longer than expected, but the final price held to the original quote.
