very badly they are very bad at roofing the damage our outback garage a/c and fitters spray foam all over the side of our house and trim the boss rick was not fun to work with very mean they said there would be traps put down nope no traps at all they cuase 8,000$ worth of damage maybe even more

Every body involved in the job, from the ladies in the office, Terry the saleman, Scott the project manager, Francisco the foreman of the crew, the crew, and the 2 gentlemen in charge of installing the tubular skylights, were all very professional and and nice. They were all willing to help me and answer all my questions. Yes, I would refer them to my friends.

We eventually (couple of weeks) got someone to come out and give us an estimate on 9/14/18 (I know you've been very busy!!!), he quoted firstly $17,000 to replace the whole roof and $1,600 to just repair the immediate damage with the understanding the whole roof would probably need replacing in 1-3 years. Ok fine we paid him 30% down and eventually on 10/3/18 we got a date that was set for 10/23/18 - Great we thought. We get close to that date and just like many before us the office called a week prior to say blah blah blah lots of rain, swamped (join the club), many customers, blah blah blah will have to get back to you to reschedule blah blah blah, we'll ring you back. Well guess what, one week later no contact from anyone! I realize you make more money on full roof replacements and ours is only a small job, but ours should be a quick in and out job surely! But eventually we will require someone to do a full roof replacement - Do you think I will use Lyons! I'm sure you will reply with words like computer error, someone did phone back, no answer (we have voicemail just like everyone else), really busy etc. etc. etc.. I have read all of the same types of stories in the reviews and they all follow the same story line, awful weather, over demand, huge backlog and many other excuses. Very disappointing service so far - the reviews tell me you do a good job once you get here, so please get on with it.

"Yep I get it. You are right about the storms. You are right about our need to reschedule. You are wrong about the size of the job influencing the wait factor. Service is their own department, their own crews, their own schedule. The re-roof department is equally bogged down. The reschedules are really about a constantly moving schedules due to the inability to work on a wet roof. A wet roof is a dangerous roof. We have a record breaking wet year that has wreaked havoc on our schedule. All that said, it sounds like you may not be happy with your choice of contractor. We never charge a fee to cancel and would be happy to return your deposit if you feel at all regretful of your decision. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. I'd like to post a 5 star review for Lyons Roofing. I've used this company several times in the past few years and have found them to always be very responsive and professional. During the rain we had this week I had a pesky leak in my garage in an area where they had previously worked. They responded right away and spent several hours tracking it down and repairing it. It turned out the leak had nothing to do with their previous work but, nonetheless they refused to charge me for the repair. Kudos to Jeremey, JT and Matt. Great customer service guys.

Everything went well. Estimate was well prepared and detailed. Job started as promised. Workers performed their job without disturbing us and cleaned up every day. Communication was good. Roof looks great! Couldn't be happier with the entire process.

The quote was prompt and thorough. Questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. Scheduling was as promised. Tear-off and re-roofing was done VERY quickly, professionally, and as per specifications in the contract. Cleanup was timely and thorough. Minor damage to the home was quickly done without any debate.

Lyons Roofing workers showed up on time. They were very polite and professional. All the work was completed in a timely manner and during and after the job they explained verything they did. They didn't try to sell me anything but instead they told me my roof was in excellent condition and should last for several more years. Very pleased with their work and would hire again in the future.

We received a call the day before stating that they would arrive between 10-11, even though they were originally scheduled for 7AM. When they had not arrived by noon, I called the office and got the "answering service". They stated they would send a message to someone, but I never received a call back. At 1PM, I called the person who did the estimate. He said he would call me back, but never did. At 1:30, I tried the main office number again and someone answered the phone. She stated that the original scheduled crew was not able to do the job for some reason, so the job was added on to another crew's schedule. That crew finally arrived about an hour later. Floyd was great and did apologize for being late, even though it wasn't really his fault. He did a great job on the roof, particularly matching the color of our tile with the paint they used. In addition, he was honest that he over-sprayed a bit of the trim. He asked if I had any trim paint in the garage and immediately used it to fix the spot. I appreciated his honesty, as I likely would not have noticed the area until they were long gone. Bottom line: they did good work and the company would be getting an A overall if it weren't for being late combined with the lack of communication.

When my prior roofing company gave me a casual no detail estimate that just happened to match their on-line special and couldn't explain why, I looked for a new company and settled on Lyons. They sent out two estimators who gave me the estimate and then did the work right then. They did miss a spot with one tile that had been raised by the wind and they came right back out and fixed that a day later. Very impressed with their work and willingness to get it done quickly.

We were very pleased with the job. Crew was skilled, punctual, tidy, and well organized. Good supervision. The job was completed within the estimated time. It is a tile roof, and a very big, involved job.

I contacted Lyon's to receive an estimate. Lyon's was 1 of 3 companies I contacted. Mike Randolph from Lyon's returned my call within 24 hours and was able to meet with us within 3 days (based on my schedule needs - Mike could have met sooner). Mike went on the roof and took pictures and captured all the issues associated with the roof. We then reviewed the pictures, he took time to answer all my questions, and provided an estimate during his visit. No pressure sales was performed. I told him I was seeking bids from two other companies and he understood and let me know he was available to answer any questions. Again, no pressure. Company 3 never returned my calls for a bid and company 2 sent out a tech who walked on the roof and said they would get back to me. They never did. I decided to go with Lyon's due to the professionalism of Mike and the Lyon's process on how the project would be performed. We received a start project 1 month later. I desired sooner, but I understood the backlog. Material arrived 1 week prior to the project. Prior to the start of the project I was contacted by the project manager Scott Slaughter. He met with me about 1 week prior to the project start and walked me through the process. I shared with him my areas of concern and he noted them and made sure they would be addressed. The project started and the workers started at 630am each day. They cleaned the property each day at the end of work. They were friendly and respectful of the property. I met Scott a couple of days during the project. I asked for specific work to be done and he would do the work with no complaints or issues. At one point some additional work required the carpenter to return and Scott said no problem. We obtained a 20 year warranty and it can be transferred to the next owner if we sell the house. Overall Lyon's is very professional and did a great job. May have cost more than others, but the peace of mind and professionalism is worth it to me.

Dave and his crew were very responsive, professional and did a great job! The demo of the tile took longer than expected, ultimately pushing out the finish date. The quality of their work was excellent and we like the waterproof Pli-Dek! I would definitely recommend Lyons Roofing. Thank you! Connie
