Lyon Tree Care

DO NOT HIRE!! James started well but just stopped communicsting and never finished the job. Also asked for payment outside of this app. Contracted to remove 6 trees, grind down the stumps and clean up one other tree. He cut down 5 smaller trees, never cleaned up and stopped communication or showing up. My yard is covered in branches and the big tree which I really wanted removed remains untouched. He stated he had to schedule a line drop and then failed to return my calls or emails. Remove provider from this Angi's list.

James communicated clearly from day one. I reached out for a quote and he was able to meet me in between jobs that day. James was very informative at our initial meeting and as a new home owner on a budget you could tell he understood that. He gave us advice on every tree in our yard, what to keep, what to fertilize, and how to treat certain bugs. Day of he showed up on time with his crew and got to work. They did a great job and cleaned everything up before they left. The dead tree they cut down they chopped up for us to use for firewood in the future.

Amazing service super friendly and provided a free estimate

Not a good company. Hired in November for tree trimming services. Trimmed the trees and was paid. Said he would be back the next day to remove the tree trimmings. Excuse after excuse. Promised to refund some money for the inconvenience and then come and remove the trimmings. Did not receive any refund and 5 months later the cut branches are still in my yard. Will not return calls or texts. Paid $1,000 for a job and got $500 worth of service. When I say trimmings I mean large branches from 80' pine trees. Still on my property.

As always James did an excellent job trying to save my big silver maple tree. He's always on time and a great communicator and as always very polite. He is definitely my go-to guy for any of my large tree issues and care.

James did an awesome job. Cleared out the dead limbs and made the trees look so much better. Cleaned up the pine needles all around.

We've used James with Lyon Tree Care on 2 occasions. The first time we had dead trees in our residence in Colorado Springs. There were 3 large dead trees that could've come down on our house. There is not much room between our property and the neighbor's. Without a hitch, the trees were brought down and did not cross the property line. It was exceptional. The 2nd time was at our rural mountain property. We had a tree approximarely 60 feet tall. It was a dead pine tree that would have eventually taken out the power lines and our house. The winds can get high at 10,000 feet in elevation and it was scary to watch that tree sway. James came out and like the expert he is, climbed the tree and began cutting it down from top to bottom. We couldn't take our eyes off of him. It was awesome to watch him work. He literally saved our house. I would recommend him time and time again!! He's also worth every penny and is reasonably priced.

Timing is everything! Received an estimate and work started and finished the next day. Big relief for a happy customer! Mack

James was wonderful. Fast response to inquiries, came the same day for estimate and came on time on scheduled day for the job. Will be having him do more work in the spring. Really do appreciate his willingness to offer advice and get the job done quickly! Have already recommended him to my father!

It went great. This is the second year that James has worked on my 50 plus feet trees and I highly recommend him. He's on time he answers questions quickly and he's extremely polite. He was referred to me by a friend that he also did work for and she was very satisfied.
