MAC'S WHOLESALE FLOORING

Initially every thing was great until about 2 weeks before we had delivery and installation. We received a call letting us know they product we selected for our engineered hardwoods was not available. Not a big as we selected a similar product that we ended up liking better. Shortly after we made the decision to have our GC who was handling the rest of the remodel handle installation. I let them know of the changes and asked that they send me an updated quote of just materials. I learned he day of installation that padding was not part of materials. We scrambled and located padding and purchased that. They were short on both engineered hardwoods and carpet. They took no ownership in the shortages and claimed that they never get that wrong and that it must be me or the GC. Fast fwd post move in. The hardwoods were purchased at $4.99 per sqft and pitched as high quality and durable are anything but. They chip and scratch with ease. For the example my 2 year old dropped an iPhone on the floors which resulted in a huge chunk taken out.

Excellent in every way. We checked with a variety of suppliers and installers, and Mac's beat everyone's price by a mile, then did a fantastic job with the installation. Couldn't be happier.

We wanted to replace our carpet with hard surface in our living room and 2 bedrooms. We had a couple of false starts with Lumber Liquidators -- they had steered us toward shiny surface bamboo. Then we visited Mac at Mac's Wholesale Flooring on a Friday morning. After describing our situation and needs, Mac explained why shiny surface bamboo was a bad choice for our situation. He gave us 3 giant size laminate samples to take home with us. These samples were a few feet each way, compared to the small squares measured in inches that most places give. One of them was awesomely beautiful and we went ahead with it. Only 2 weeks after that visit with Mac, it was all installed, very well done, it only took them a day and a half. This was thick, fairly high-end laminate. Total cost was about 40% lower than the bamboo job we almost got with the other company and much more appropriate for our particular needs. We got from Mac's great advice, great selection, great service, and a good price.

Could not have been better

The whole experience from start to finish was much better than I expected. I found Mac's by looking at a list of dealers on the flooring manufacturer's web site and sent a short e-mail. Less than 2 minutes later I received a call from Mike who was enthusiastic about the project. I got a total of five quotes for the project and Mike impressed me when he walked through my house for the estimate. He was not only enthusiastic but clearly knowledgeable. As it turned out, Mac's price for the materials was the least expensive out of the five quotes, but even if it hadn't been I would have strongly considered going with them due to the responsiveness of Mike. The installers, Greg and Andrew, did an amazing job. I didn't think it was possible for any installers to be more detail oriented than I am but they blew me away. The flooring looks incredible and, with 28 different stair treas, 2 of them pie shaped, it was a lot of work. Their dedication to making it look right and their professionalism through the entire project was impressive. They were less installers and more craftsmen and the floor is absolutely beautiful. I will not hesitate to go back to Mac's when it comes time to replace the carpet in my two remaining bedrooms.

Mac's furnished, delivered' and installed 1200 sq ft of pre-finished hardwood flooring.  They also installed hardwood on the stairs.  Mac's price was better that anyone we found and the installation was also the best price we could find.  We are very happy with the results.  Installation was very high quality and dealing with Mike was great. <br />

We purchased engineered Acacia flooring from Mac's and had them install it.  The cost of the materials was far below the same materials at other stores. <br /> They removed old kitchen laminate, old tile and old carpet and this was not an easy job. They installed the flooring to our entire first floor and a staircase, and did it in the estimated time.  The installers were great.  They were hardworking and diligent in the installation.  They asked us our opinions when it was needed, and cleaned up as they left each day.  I've already recommended Mac's to others at work.  <br />

His pricing is very reasonable and quality of work is incredible. They did the whole this ceiling and painted the interior in just 2 days. I will use them again anytime I need it.

They were prompt, inexpensive, and did a great job. I would definitely use them again when we redo the bedrooms.

I had a very good experience with them overall. It was excellent. Everything worked out fine. We have no complaints. It was very good. We thought the price was good.

<p>        I called a different contractor and selected 3-4 installers, who came to fix my bamboo floor. They were not able to fix it and walked out because there was a big gap between the old and new planks .... I was so stressed out and did not know what to do with my floor, which had been damaged by water. I called Mac's Floor Whole Sale. Mac honestly explained to me that I could keep the bamboo floor but would have to redo the whole floor *** Mac did not tell me what the other contractor or sale person was telling me *** Mac was looking out for the good of others *** Mac sent Rafael Tamayo to me right away    <br /> <br /> I hardly praise people, and I had a terrible experience with several contractors before. Therefore  I did my own research to see how the wood floors are installed and fixed.  I had 5-6 installers come, but I did not feel safe when they told me their technique. <br /> <br /> However, when Rafael Tamayo showed me his particular way of fixing, I felt differently.  He was very precise, clear, honest, oriented to particulars, organized. Mac is fantastic - I came in with a friend and I asked him about my place. He listened to my interests/needs, and made some initial recommendations and let me look around. I followed up to have him come out to my place - he measured so he could put together an estimate. We talked through some of the same things we had discussed earlier - he remembers everything! I was doing some other work, and he made a recommendation for a contractor who turned out awesome too. When I went in again, he was prepared with samples for my place, that I took home to live with a few days. He worked very well, coordinating with my contractor. His crew was super friendly and detail oriented and even arranged my furniture so I came home to a beautiful "wow" moment. I have passed on his name to several friends. If my mom lived here, I'd have him do her floors! On time, on budget, excellent quality and superior service.

Mac met me at my condo and measured the place and we discussed my needs. He suggested I meet him at his store the following Saturday so he could show me some options and get pricing. We didn't have an appointment, but I showed up and he had everything set out for me. He picked a nice, neutral carpet and a vinyl plank for the bathroom, kitchen and entry. We picked a date for installation and all the work was wrapped up in 2 days. And it looks great! It was a top notch job. Mac is a great guy who has tons of experience and really knows floors. He is also thoughtful about budget. I have already recommended him a friend and she used him and loved the outcome, too! <br />

Just a great overall job. Starting with the price best I found and then the service was excellent, delivery and install was as they said. There was a couple little things I wanted touched up it was no problem for Mac to have the installers come by and change them. I highly recommend them. It was nice to have a project go as anticipated with no problems. <br />

AWESOME- They were professional, prompt and my new cork floor is stunning!

We met Mac and Mike at the Seattle Home Show. They were extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain types of hardwood and how it is installed to us. We followed up by going to their showroom where they were very patient in re-explaining things to us. They were also happy to send us home with samples to see how they would look in our home. Mac then came out and measured our house. We purchased the wood over the phone and it was delivered promptly. We had them quote the installation, but chose to support a small business in our neighborhood.

Flooring and installation were excellent. Price was excellent. Note that this was done a number of years ago and so do not know if the experience is the same.

Overall everything was great. We saw a flooring we liked at the home show and went by the showroom to make sure that was the right choice. We took a few flooring samples home for a week just to be sure. Our flooring was delayed about a month because of manufacturing problems but Mac let us know this and was very up front about the problems in getting supply. He went to great lengths to find enough flooring for our job. When the flooring did arrive it was installed quickly and professionally and it looks great.

I originally met them at the Home Show where they had a really helpful and friendly staffer present and an extensive display. After, I visited their showroom (by appointment) and went over a bunch of flooring options. I took some samples but was not satisfied with the cork choices available. At a different company's showroom, I found the Wicander's Cork flooring but the price was about $12 a square foot. I then looked online and found it for about $7.50/sf. However, online it would have taken several weeks plus a big shipping cost. So on a whim, I just called Mac's and explained that I wanted to give them business, but really wanted that floor and at that price. He said, "let's see what I can do." He then called Wicander's and became a new distributor THAT SAME DAY, matched the online price and had my floor to pick up the very next day. I couldn't have been happier!
