It was really good, I have used them for 10-15 years now. They were always there if I ever need detailing, little gadgets to put in and tinning windows I always go to them. They did a very good job as always. They were extremely courteous, professional, they worked with you if you have a problem, they were really top notch and the best.

I had horrible problems with the starter within the first 9 months of the install. It would randomly start my vehicle all on its own, it progressed to honking my horn when I made a right turn, then it started only partially trying to start my car which killed the battery. During all this I made several calls to Made in the shade. The owner kept putting me off. First it wasn't season they would call me when they hired someone, I never got a call. When I finally called them she stated that I had called too late and season was over and again states she would call me if she had enough work to pay someone for a weekend worth of work. Again no call came. The last time as I sat in my car with a dead battery caused by the started I called her and she said oh I have someone coming next weekend to do some work. I asked why she hadn't called me and she said oh I forgot. I stated I wanted to be her first appointment of the day and that I wanted the started removed. When I went back for my car I asked for a refund and she stated I could not have one that she'd did not WARRANTY her work and that the starter only had a 1 year guarantee. She I told her that this all started with in the first year she just kept repeating that she DOES NOT WARRANTY HER WORK!!

"Mrs. [Member Information Removed] had pre existing issues with the BPM in her vehicle which we told her she needs to have it diagnosed by a mechanic. She is correct in saying that I explained to her we are seasonal . I notified her when my installer was to be in and asked her if she ever got her vehicle diagnosed, she stated no. When she did come in and my technician did troubleshooting, his diagnosis was that there were no issues with the installation of the remote itself. No product or labor issue. Not covered under warranty if the car itself has mechanical problems."

I visited the company to secure an estimate on the work I needed done. The young woman at the desk asked me a few questions as to what I thought I needed, why I wanted the tint (safety, cooling, security, etc.) and then recommended the type and thickness she thought would satisfy my needs. She also gave me a cost quote and a time-frame in which they would do the installation. I took home the information with a promise to call for an appointment. Later I called and was given a very convenient appointment for the next day. I brought my vehicle to the company on time and returned two hours later (as instructed.). The workman was just finishing up the job and I was made very comfortable in the waiting area entertained by the "world's friendliest dog". I was presented with an invoice which I paid with my credit card and left. All in all the entire experience was acceptable and I would recommend this company to anyone. <br />

We just replaced our siding and windows and I did not want to put the metal awnings back on because they would take away from our new shutters. I contacted made in the shade and they were able to tint our windows. They were very easy to deal with. They were very professional, helpful, and informative. I would recommend them to anyone.
