In late February 2021 got a bid and agreed to use Magic Home Services to frame out a room and sheet rock it. I made an $8,000 deposit on the project but was told there was no eta on scheduling, which at the time I was ok with, as i was in no rush. I was told that once the project started it would take 45 days. Approximately 3 weeks later my time table was accelerated and I needed to sell the house much sooner. When i contacted Magic Home Services, i was told that nothing was scheduled on my project, nor did it sound like anything had been ordered. Knowing that the turn around time was going to be close to 2 months even if things were fast tracked, I made the decision to cancel the project. The Contract states that "if the Owner cancels this contract AFTER THREE (3) DAYS from the date of acceptance and before commencement of work, through no fault of the Contractor, the Owner agrees to pay 30% of the contract price or the cost of the materials purchased by the Contractor to the date of cancellation, whichever is greater." While i was not looking forward to losing $4,000 - I understood it was the penalty. I informed them of the cancellation and was contacted via emails, they offered to cut services to bring the price down. I explained it wasn't the services, it was the time line and if they could do the project in 10 days it would work. At that point correspondence ended. I send multiple requests to confirm the project was canceled. I also have not received back any refund for the other half of the deposit.

It was a complete disaster they were 4 weeks late to start the project even tho they cashed my check . Getting in touch with them was terrible no one is prompt in returning phone calls. They left garbage laying around on the new concrete slab and it stained a 2 foot circle and they refuse to do anything about it. Magic Homes is a bunch of hacks i will never use them again.

The salesman, Marek, was very informative about the product. He spent two hours answering our questions. The shingles and dumpster were delivered in a timely manner. Six workers came at 7:00am, took the old roof off, saw that the leak damage was greater than anticipated and had to run to Lowes for a rafter and eight roofing boards. Once the wood was on they put down the moisture barrier, shingles, roof vent and rubber caps. They took turns eating lunch so that the work didn't stop. They cleaned up and scanned the area with magnets to get nails. They even blew the leaves out of the gutter for us! They finished up around 4:30pm and I'm very happy with the work that was done. They set a payment plan for me to make it affordable and I would definitely recommend them.

To start I agreed upon a set price and signed the paper work only to be called the next day to try to be pressured into paying an addition $1800 because I was misquoted for the fence type. They did honor the original quote (which was the same as most of the quotes I received). The fence went in in a fair amount of time with having to dodge the rain and the installers where very polite and professional. It looked great and I was very pleased. Unfortunately the double gate sagged and warped and the one single gate sagged to the point they were unusable within 2 months (wood warps and sags, it happens and I understand that) The first call to magic homes to repair the gates was meet with a quick response to “fix” the problem. However the repairs were mediocre at best. The double gate is still warped and the single gate has miss matched hardware and many holes from moving hardware to opposite sides of the gate. I called almost 2 weeks ago (the day the repairs took place) to readdress the original problems that where not fixed properly and have yet to see or hear from the company. If it would have been fixed properly the first time I would have been pleased with the overall experience, however quick mediocre repairs to rush off a project is not a way to regain my business for my many other projects in the near future.

Very well. They replaced the roof on the house and gazebo. Very professional. Scheduled and completed as estimated by Jonas. It was installed and debris was removed very fast. Jonas came back to install the cupola on the gazebo when it arrived. The roofs look beautiful.

It went well and it looks great. They completed everything in a timely manner. The owner called after the work was complete to check in and make sure everything was good which I really appreciated.

They knocked it out of the park. They were excellent, did everything they said they would do and more. There were a couple of small issues that came up and they took care of it. They opened up the pipes and didn't charge us for it. Even their price was excellent and we would highly recommend them. We would definitely hire them again.
