We hired Magic Touch Landscaping to install a flagstone walkway along the side of our townhome from our front entrance to the back yard roughly measuring 3ft x 90ft. Initially, I was impressed with Roger’s professionalism, but ultimately I was disappointed by his crew’s workmanship and his failure to adhere to his word. We made specific requests to slope the walkway to the existing drains and for the length of the walkway, generally this was done properly, except for one crucial area, the entrance. The entire job took two days which wasn’t a problem. But on the second day, it appeared that the crew was going to need some extra time which I was ok with but Roger insisted that they would finish. We left to do an errand and returned home to see that the crew had rushed to finish the job. Roger offered a 2-year guarantee of workmanship but when it first rained, it was patently obvious that Roger’s crew had not sloped the walkway properly in their rush to finish. Now, every time it rains or the sprinklers go off, there’s a constant puddle in the walkway. I called Roger the same week that they finished the job and he promised to come back the next Monday to fix the problem, but he never arrived. I called several times with no return calls or answers to my texts. Finally, I called from a separate phone which Roger answered and when confronted with the question as to why he failed to show up, he explained that he was in an accident which is why they never arrived. I initially believed him but after agreeing that he would make an effort to keep in touch and reschedule, and not hearing from again after two months, I have concluded that this was a lie. I would not recommend Magic Touch for any service and am completely disappointed with Roger’s lack of professionalism and commitment to his word. Maybe with this bad review I’ll finally hear back from Roger…though I’m not holding my breath.

Roger with Magic Touch Landscaping and Remodeling was horrible. He was aggressive and flooded me with texts and examples of his work on the front end to secure the sale, but once I hired him he never finished the job. He said he would complete the work and even said he was "on the way" but stood us up (see text messages below for evidence). And, he has ignored my text messages and phone calls for the last several days. See screen shots of the conversation and photos of incomplete work below. He said automatic sprinkler he installed would keep grass green. That didn't work either. Half of the grass was brown within one week.

Roger is AMAZING. If I could give more than an A I would. I needed an overall front and back yard clean up with trimming trees and bushes, removing plants and planting new ones. Added topsoil, weed blocker and mulch. We also had him pressure wash all of the brick and pavement around our house front and back. He was professional and punctual, his team is impressively hard working. I added things as they were working and they did everything with a smile and asked if I needed more. Just awesome. I highly recommend and am referring to all my friends and neighbors.

Wonderful. He and his crew arrived on time and started to work immediately. They did a lot of work on my house and an apartment a few houses down. They took out four dead trees, planted four trees, planted hibiscus after re arranging the irrigation pipes that were originally placed in the middle of the bed. They moved that so the hibiscus could be planted. They cleaned up a messy area around the apartment and cleaned up the trees that were scraping the roof of the apartment. All in all, they did a great job and I will use them again.

When you hire Magic Touch you never have to worry about the quality of their work, punctuality, or professionalism. After constant back and forth’s with disappointing and disrespectful contractors and technicians, the Magic Touch is a breath of fresh air. I literally won’t hire anyone else to maintain my employer’s lawn. 100% Recommend.

They are supposed to come weekly. They show up at random with. I notice as to when. They frequently break sprinkler heads and hit things in yards, like fences, ac, house with weed eaters. They do not live up to contractual obligations. They are cheap.... and they are exactly what we pay for.

Roger and his team spent about 2 days at my home revamping all my plant/flower beds, which were in very bad shape. They cleaned out everything, added new soil/mulch; and consulted on new plants and design. They built up the beds with new top soil and mulch and planted a large number of new plants (not dinky ones, but nice sized plants). The gutters were also cleaned out and power-washed. A large number of flagstones were power-washed and "reset." The team was on time, and worked diligently until the job was done. The job was handled very professionally, looks beautiful, and as a result I have hired Magic Touch to do the ongoing maintenance of my lawn/landscape. Great job!

Roger the owner came out assessed the needs and submitted a fair bid for the project. They basically had to strip the yard completely so that all the weeds and poison ivy could be removed and replanted 9 pallets of fresh grass. They fixed the sprinkler system and created a rock walkway between the garage and fence so that they could place their trash cans in the area. All the flower beds were cleaned out and fixed so that my daughter and her husband could plant fresh shrubs. All flower beds were mulched. And all of the yard debris was hauled away. The guys were professional, curtesy, and efficient. I would highly recommend Roger and his crew for any yard project.

It's spring! So it must be time for Magic Touch to bring my yard back to life! Once again they did a wonderful job trimming back the hedges and ferns, putting down mulch, and tackling the HORRIBLE weed problem I was having. Roger arrived at 8am sharp on Friday and him and his crew got to work right away. They worked very hard all day long. Removing a huge pile of bricks that made up the walkway under the dirt. They careful selected the good bricks, pressure washed them and restacked them so I can use them on future projects. Demolition included removing a street light post and older raised flower bed. The ground was then evened out and bricks reset along flower beds. Lots of rainbow gravel was added to the area (needed second trip for material) and it was laid out nicely. A new retainer was built along pool area since the old wall was collapsing. They were mindful to level it out nicely and trim it out in a curved method to match the sidewalk. Finally they added mulch to backyard flower beds to get them ready for the season. They even came back a few days later to top them off with a bit more mulch to my complete satisfaction. I would recommend Roger for landscaping project as he was attentive to my details to help select the size of rock, the retainer wall construction, and the color of mulch. He did an excellent job and now me and my kids have more room to play in our backyard.

Work has been done in stages. Roger and his crew showed up on time, are neat, courteous, always smiling. While discussing what needed to be done, Roger made recommendations to help make my yard low maintenance yet pleasing to the eye. They tackled my leaky sprinkler system that was damaged by Harvey flood, uncovering and repairing pipe and sprinkler heads with humor as they found way too many sprinkler heads for my size yard. Super excited to enjoy my beautifully transformed yard this spring and summer.

Because of Magic Touch Landscaping I may have to appear in court! Once our fence was installed, I immediately got a request from Magic Touch Landscaping to pay for the work. I was out of town at the time and my tenant gave it a quick look and said it was fine. So, I paid. I wish I hadn't. I got follow-up messages from my tenant that a mess was left on our side of the fence, and then a very angry email from my neighbor that Magic Touch had left a huge pile of old lumber and plastic bags of garbage on his property. He also said that the fence was very poorly made and designed, and sent photos of pieces of wood coming off only days after it was installed. The neighbor went on to threaten me with a large bill to have the mess cleaned up. I immediately called Magic Touch and the owner assured that he would come over the next morning to clean up the mess. He didn't show up! Subsequently, my neighbor received a summons from the city for the debris, which I am now left to pay. A court date has been set. Magic Touch has refused to answer my calls or text messages. Incredibly unprofessional!

It went well. I have told that best idea was to install french drain in that area of the yard. I also requested that they raise the area and put pea gravel back there. That part went very well, but the entire backyard also has drainage issues and remains a work in process.

An older home had been neglected for at least 3 years. Magic Touch cleaned up the mess, removed dead plants, removed or trimmed trees too close to the houseand removed an entire Fall's worth of dead leaves. They worked quickly and professionally. Roger and his crew we're on time. It took 2 days and in the beginning one of them accidentally took the ax to the sprinkler that was underneath but in no time they had it fixed. My new patio for my husband's barbecues are just what we needed.

Roger and his crew showed up early and got to work. They put in some beautiful pink oleanders and gardenia's and made my yard beautiful. I was so impressed with how they really listened to what I wanted and brought it to life. The transformation is amazing. Now I have people stopping by my house and taking pictures because it looks so awesome. I would highly recommend them to make over your yard. I spent more that I had originally planned but it was so worth it. Now when I drive up to my house I feel a real sense of pride at how my house looks. Cannot say enough about how professional and courteous Roger and his crew were. This is my second time using Magic Touch and it won't be my last.

I am pleased beyond belief! Roger and his crew arrived at 6:57 a.m. (3 minutes earlier than our agreed time), unloaded their equipment, and asked me to explain what was to be done. Roger really listens to his clients. He and his crew pay meticulous attention to detail. He is ALWAYS present -- he doesn't leave the crew to do the work and return later. His crew is very hardworking, and they are very precise and neat with what they do. They trimmed back my wildly growing jasmine, cut dead leaves off live plants (which made those plants look a lot better), and got all the weeds off my flagstone patio. They pulled weeds by hand, because Roger said using a weedeater would not keep the weeds from growing back for a long while. He and his crew removed 2 wooden plant boxes that were old and falling apart. They removed 3 dead plants from big clay pots on the patio and left the pots stacked neatly in a corner. I asked Magic Touch to power wash the exterior of my house (brick and Hardy siding), using ONLY high-pressure cold water. No soap, no chemicals. They did a great job! They also power washed the glass patio doors that open on to the patio and stacked vertical windows that look out on the patio. They even power washed my iron and stone patio furniture! When I saw the patio at the end of 4 hours of work, it had been transformed. Not just made over. Transformed! It looked so good, my spirits were lifted, and I've been spending time on the patio every evening since Magic Touch made it beautiful. Would I hire them again? Absolutely I will. Would I recommend them? Absolutely.
