Maid Brigade of Dallas Area

I was very disappointed that for a two person team and $198 cost that the place didn't sparkle. It is only a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo. The kitchen cabinets still had a sticky film, the oven wasn't cleaned (as expected), one of the burners still had food residue under it. The bathtub and sink could have been cleaner, the mirror in the bedroom had hairspray or some residue that needed a stronger cleaning solution. The maids left two bags full of trash on the front hall landing instead of taking it down to the trash bins. No one called to tell me they arrived or were finished. I was not impressed as I thought I should have been for that amount of money and for two people doing the work on such a small place.

I selected Maid Brigade for my cleaning service and signed a one-year contract with it. Thus, the company representatives impressed me enough for me to actually sign a contract. However, since I have not actually experienced the service, much less for any length of time, I am, at this point, unable to evaluate the quality of the work performed, nor how consistent that quality is--a very important combination, in my opinion. However, I was impressed with the people I talked with on the phone and met in person. They were all well-spoken, courteous, informative, and helpful. They dealt with me in a way that made me feel they were really interested in having me aboard as a client and would do everything in their power to see to it that I am pleased with their service. On top of all that, I felt that their prices were very reasonable. At this point, then, I can rate as "very good" what the service offers and how it presents itself, but have no way of rating the actual quality of the work performed. I look forward to working with this cleaning service, and I am grateful to ServiceMagic for putting me in touch with it. If you contact me in a few months, I would be happy to share my evaluation of the quality and consistency of the housecleaning and any other relevant aspects of the service.

They cleaned NOTHING. The ceiling fan still had huge chunks of dust on it, windows sills were filthy, windows streaked & dirty, tubs still dirty. I ended up having to clean everything myself since nothing they were supposed to clean was even close to clean when they left. The toilet still had a 5 square inch patch of poop on the side of it from where our toddler had an accident BEFORE they came and "cleaned". I had washed the seat already but I figured they'd be able to clean that & save me (with my big pregnant self) from getting on my hands & knees to clean it. But no, they did not clean it at all.

Have used other services in the past. I was impressed by the exceptional customer service of Maid Brigade. They did a great job cleaning, but went above & beyond that. I appreciated it.

I was extremely dissatisfied with this service. I was having an MRI at the time they came to clean the house. I got a phone call from them saying they had exceeded their time and weren't finished and would have to charge me more to finish. I told them to forget it. I was already paying them 180.00 to clean a small two bedroom house. When I got home, I couldn't see what they had done, other then dust. The kitchen floor had not been swept or mopped, the carpets hadn't been vacuumed, the bathrooms were not clean. I will never hire them again.

I feel I was overcharged for a job that was incomplete and done hapharzardly in some instances-I had to call them back, and they only fixed a few of the problems. A Spanish-only speaker had a list of 3 things to do. I expected much more than I got, as I had only mentioned 3 things off the top of my head.

I am going to have maid brigade back for a 2nd time before I decide to retain them on-going.

The sales person, Maria, was informative, understanding and helpful. I had requested a deep cleaning and although the house was left relatively clean, I did not think it was worth the $168 charged. As a courtesy, I was offered a light cleaning the following week. I wasn't impressed with that either but the clincher was they left my interior door wide-open. I had left a key for them which was returned to it's hiding place and the storm door was closed but my front door was left open for several hours while I was at work. Needless to say, I will be using Maid Brigade again.

The ladies did a very thorough job, they were very efficient and worked diligently. I was very pleased with the cleaning job that they did. The actual cost was about $60 higher than the quote given to me, but the work done was worth the additional cost. Overall - very good service.

This was a same day request - but the maids sent did not speak good English (one did; but barely.) They worked together for the first 2 hours; and then split up for the last hour; during the initial 2 hours of cleaning; they appeared to be constantly chatting with one another - giving me the appearance they were not working as quickly or efficiently as possible (I was paying for their services by the hour)

The maids were late, but did not call, and were unfriendly and condescending to me in my own home. The cleaning job was not complete -- the maids moved items to clean around them, and then did not put the items back. They did not clean thoroughly. This was a very expensive mistake. I've paid less for a LOT better service. I'll never use your service again.
