Llyod Clavey, owner of Mainline Drains Plumbing came up on Angies List. I called and explained that my new oven enamel was scratched and needed repair. He asked for photos and said he could stop by today 1/29/2021. He stated he could repair my oven for $225.00. The job was taking longer than expected and that's when he told me he has never fixed this type of problem before. By this point the damage was already done. He told me that if I pay him cash he would only charge me $200.00. When my spouse came home and saw the extremely poor workmanship, I contacted Lloyd and asked for my money back. He refused and said "times are tough out there right now and I am not giving you your money back." He then said he would come out and look at his work for an additional charge! I explained to him that his work was extremely poor and the end result was not what he stated it would be. I tried for several minutes to discuss the issue with him and he became rude and belligerent. I have tried to research the NC State Board licensing of Plumbers and they do not have Lloyd Clavey listed as a licensed plumber. Please be advised, we were lied to about his skill and ability to repair a small appliance and further be aware that the owner of Mainline Drains Plumbing REFUSED to repair his poor workmanship. I have checked the NC State Corporations database and found that his business is only in existence since 2019. I urge anyone that may want to use his services to check for a license, and more importantly business insurance. While he may have some good reviews about a leaky faucet, Llyod Clavey mislead me about his capabilities to repair my oven. Due to his ineptness I am currently unable to use my oven as the paint that he said we could use was not the correct product, not did he prime the area prior. We are now left with a new oven that is completely useless as cooking in it will on emit toxins into the air and our food. I have pictures of his work and would be willing to add those to my review if permitted by Angie's list.

LLoyd is awesome! We realized we had a problem on a Sunday morning and waved goodbye to him at 1:15 PM. Who could imagine? He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, meticulously cleans up after himself, keeps up-to-date with his equipment, is reasonably priced, just an all-around fabulous plumber. Everyone should love their plumber, and we certainly do!

Service was immediate, courteous and thorough. Drain is working with absolutely no issues. I will definitely use him again.

Lloyd was exceptional, timely, and very responsive. Very open and honest and helped share information on how to prevent issue in the future. I will be using his services going forward. Highly recommend.
