There was a little confusion on the price. They asked for more but then we came to an agreement that they were going to price us sufficient. The fact that there was an issue kind of takes away but the work was fine. The price that I paid was reasonable.

I was a little disappointed, because I wanted them to do a repair on a flange and I still had leaking after they were done. I called and asked if they provided the service, because they did not leave an invoice or let me know that they came out. My gutters are covered and I could not see if they did the gutter cleaning either.

They're reliable and honest. I'm pleased with the job.

The whole thing was kind of confusing with how it worked.  Originally they came in for a repair and then I had to replace a part of the roof.  They wanted to throw in a whole bunch of stuff.  The work they did was good.  I was just confused how the deal really worked.  The price was more than I thought it would be.  I don’t think that they value was that great.  Their responsiveness was very good.  They didn’t show up a few times because of the weather issues.

Material was delivered a week prior to the start of work only to picked up again a couple days later. We live in a townhouse and are connected to our neighbor. They too decided to do their roof at the same time so they will look the same.We also did our entire garage that is connected to our neighbor on the other side.  We had rotted plywood that had to be replaced. After the old shingles were off and old plywood cut out, they told my husband that 18 pieces needed to be replaced. My husband went up on the roof, which I do not think they expected him to do, and found out it was only 10 sheets. At $50.00 a sheet, that is a big difference.  While taking off the old shingles, we asked that they be careful of our garden.  While I understand that is not an easy thing to do, they destroyed our flowers and broke several gnomes.  They completed the job that day.  I am still finding nails in the lawn and several in the driveway. <br /> I picked up the permit after the job was completed. A week later the Town Inspector came for the inspection. We did not make the appointment and were not notified that an appointment was made.  We FAILED!!!  The reason, since plywood was replaced where the townhouses meet, they should have used fire resistant plywood. Apparently, they did not. This is code. I called several times with no answers. A couple weeks ago Tanya called to say that she was going to call the town to find out what needs to be done to fix the problem. I have not heard from her since. When the inspector was here, he indicated that a certain spray had to be used 4 feet from the center of the two homes along the existing fire wall.  If you are going to do work, you should know the town's building codes. So now I have an open, failed, permit on my home, with no answers as to how they will correct their mistake. <br />

They checked the roof and gutters for minor repairs. Scheduling was problematic to start. When they arrived, I told them the square footage, but the deal was for a certain amount, they told me the price would be adjusted when they came out. When they checked what needed to be repaired, the two men checked the house and gutters and said with the Deal they would only be able to do the roof over the garage and a smaller area, but the whole roof would not be included in the price. His attitude was poor, and I could see that it was not starting out well. The best I can remember now, he was going over the roof garage to clean the gutters, and something wasn’t going well. I called Angie’s List while they were here, and they told me there wasn’t much they could do. I felt left out to dry. I was not happy about the experience with Majestic Exteriors. By the time I got off the phone with Angie’s List, they had already left. I wasn’t even sure they had finished cleaning the gutters. I would not recommend them or use them again.

They were incredibly efficient, fast, and friendly. They got the job done in a few hours. They sent one person out to do the job. The cleanup was fine and like they had never even been here.

We were very happy with them. The price was very fair for the work that they did, and I felt they went above and beyond.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. They were very good, on time and did their job.

I got a refund for the Big Deal because it wasn’t quite what it was advertising. I used them later to do some siding work and they did a fine job.

It was terrible. The guys from the roofing company came. They were here for maybe half an hour at the most. They looked around and said everything looks great and then went away. He didn’t fix any of the little tiles that had fallen. He didn’t do a single thing. He just looked around for a few minutes and for that I paid $700. So I called the company and I said there should be an adjustment because as according to him, I have to believe him that there was nothing wrong with the roof and there was no repairs that was needed and so that’s a little steep to pay for nothing wrong and the woman on the phone was extremely belligerent and she said that I made a deal with Angie’s List the money upfront and if there had been repairs, they would have them but since there weren’t any repairs, they didn’t do anything and it was goodbye. I thought that was really unreasonable. I think that the whole concept of the Big Deals where you pay money upfront and have no way of getting out of it or getting a refund or if you’re not satisfied, it’s not a good way to structure as far as I’m concerned for Angie’s List. The guy came here at a reasonable time.

It was a good experience. They did exactly what they said they would do. They did it on time and I was very pleased. They performed the service soon after I purchased the deal. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

They couldn't finish the job fast enough. They left behind one of their "tools" on the roof. I didn't find it until later. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />|Not sure of the service date. It was a while ago.

It went well. We purchased it with an intention of using it for a specific time of work, doing a re-siding on a small portion of our house. At first, they told us that we couldn't use it for that purpose and they agreed to let use it for the purpose. We had to negotiate about it. They were fine about it and they let us use it but I think one of the guys just wasn't pleasant about the whole process. In the end, the owner was very good to deal with and they let us use the "Big Deal" for what we wanted to use it for and it was fine.

They removed the existing shingle.  They checked the wood to make sure it was in good condition.  Then they put up the whole new roof. The best part of it all was they did the entire job in one day. This was done in Feb., they had to do it in at least 70 degree weather.  We had to wait until the weather was right.  They called the day before and said it would be 70 degrees.  Before that we were just replacing the single one after another and we wanted to make an end of it.  Two of my next door neighbors also did it the same day.  They cleaned up after themselves well.  The didn't stop until they were finished.  They had a crew of people that were really working, the supervisor made sure of this.  They were excellent.  They gave me a 40 year warranty.

Tanya was excellent. Everything was great they did it all in one day.

We were very pleased with their work.

Not good wanted to charge more even after coupons <br />

I wanted to perform a roof inspection, and perform preventitive maintaince to a 14 year old roof. I did not have any visible issues, but expected the contractor to check everything and take his time to re-seal every joint and potential failure point as i had an incident during a large storm where water penerated my upper bedroom. <br /> The contractor came, spent no more than 45 min at my site, and left soon after for $700 dollars. <br /> To be fair, i have not had any issues, and it may have been my fault to pay so much without issues, but I do feel ripped off. <br />

I think the owner came back once. I had him look some interior estimates I wanted him to do but he never came back. I never heard anything else from him. I don't think I'd give them a thumbs up. For $700, I think they did a roof repair and gutter cleaning. That was about it for $700. I felt I should've been charged less. Being I had to pay first, what could I do? I paid $700 before they came because they wouldn't do it without paying first. It seemed like I should've got a little more work than the little bit they did do. I had they come repair a leak around my roof because the rest of the roof wasn't bad. They said that included cleaning out the gutters and doing flashing around the pipes and stuff like that. They showed up and they cleaned up.

I had extra work done, so I paid extra for that. It was very helpful because I had water coming in. They were very nice. I thought the price was a little high, but it was okay. I would use this provider again.

It was quite expensive, it was $699. It was awful. Everything about it is straight "F". In the end, all they did for my $699 was a really poor gutter cleaning, they did not flush the gutters with water, there were leaves laying around all over the place. The young boy went up on the ladder and I think he just like knocked the ones that were most visible, he just lay it all in the ground, it was really awful and it was specially bad because later, I appealed to them and said, you didn't do that work that was done and they were sort of like well, yes we did, because the guy who gave me the quotes, he said that they had sealed the pipe flanges and they had done all this other stuff. I called in another roofer, I got in touch with the former owners of the house and I found the roofer who had done the last work here and he said of course there's chimney flashing up here, anything who told you that told you wrong, there is of course chimney flashing and he said you don't want to retar the flat roof, tarring is something we don't do anymore, it's much more efficient and economical to replace it than it is to retar it. I went through the whole complaint resolution with you guys in November 15th 2012, I submitted I think a couple of documents. First of all I tried to resolve it directly with the company and I provided copies of everything that I had and told them exactly what happened and they basically wrote back and told me that I was lying which really got my back up understandably because the guy said that they did things that they did not do and then I got in touch with Angie's List to see if they approached the contracting company and perhaps there could be some resolutions and I was even prepared for them to apply that toward some kind of future work but they just based it on the position that it's done, they said that they have to give so much of when they do this deals from Angie's List, you know Angie's List automatically gets a large chunk of the money anyway so I wasn't worth their while to bother with me. I got absolutely nothing done except a really bad gutter cleaning job for $700. I would not only not use them, I would recommend other people to never use them.

They seemed a little leery about working on the roof due to the steepness on our Victorian house but they did an adequate job.
