Major Appliance Repair Company

It ended up costing a lot more than the "Big Deal" I purchased. They did the job but they did it very quickly. They charged me a lot of money for a very small fix. They should have a more reasonable price.

<p>Reached out to this company over the weekend. I received a call back Monday morning and a Wednesday morning appointment was scheduled. None of our repairs were an emergency (unless you consider a wine cooler not cooling an emergency!).<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <p>Alex was great! he called before arriving so I knew when he'd be here. He took a quick look at the two appliances I was concerned about and was very quickly able to ascertain that they were fine.  With regards to the upright freezer he confirmed the problem was simply a blocked condensation line that we can easily unblock by defrosting ourselves and flushing the hose.  He offered to do the work but since we know how to do that we'll take care of it ourselves.  We wanted a technician to have a look in case it was something else but it is a simple fix, albeit one that is a pain to have to do a couple of times a year!  The wine cooler however had stopped cooling and as it turns out it is not an easy fix, nor an inexpensive one.  It will cost as much to repair the compressor as it did for us to buy the unit brand new so we're opting to replace with a new unit instead.  In total Alex was here for about 45 minutes.</p> <p>I truly appreciated that Alex was upfront about the issues, offered us options, and didn't just go ahead and do work that was costly or unnecessary.  Given that we are not "DIY-ers" with regards to appliance repair, I wouldn't have known what was reasonable or not so again, I very much appreciated his honesty.</p> <p>We would hire this company again.</p> <br />

That went fine. They were really good. It was very fast. There were no additional charges. He's very efficient and friendly. I really appreciate all that. The dryer is working fine. It's really good.

It worked out really well. We were afraid that it was going to be something mechanical, and basically it was just some typical maintenance. We have a different type of washer/dryer. It's one of those oversized ones. The repairman did everything he could, showed us everything and what we needed to do that we had not been doing. The machine has been working beautifully. We actually had them a second time. It was very quick. A lot of times in holidays, we have a hard time getting people to schedule to have stuff done. It was great. I liked his honesty. He was very straightforward. He was very matter of fact, very thorough, very professional and very likeable. The price was fair. He was here for a while for what needed to be done and going over the two appliances. He didn’t rush through it. He took his time and did a very thorough job. I think the price was well worth what he did. He found what the issue was and showed us how to prevent future problems. His responsiveness was very good from the time we called him until he got out here and did what he needed to do. It wasn’t a major emergency or anything like that. He came out and did the job pretty well. He was very prompt calling to make the appointment. They were right here when they said they would be. I have used them since then.

They were courteous, friendly and fast in setting up our dryer repair, <br /> and called ahead to let us know when to expect them. The technician, Alex, was knowledgeable and friendly. He did an excellent job and gave us some tips for avoiding problems in the future. The price was reasonable. <br />
