They rushed the job, did no prep work except filling nail holes from pictures, said it would have cost extra. What I paid them came out to close to $100/hr in painting time for each of the 3 people working. And I supplied the paint. Which he wildly overestimated (or underused) and left me holding.

Miguel has high integrity and communciactes very well before, during, and after the process. Highly recommended!!

They were very professional and were always on time. They did an outstanding job with both prep work and painting. They are second to none in my opinion.

Miguel Perez gave me a quote for painting and as I left the house they were patching the nail holes in the walls. I expected for the price they would do all necessary prep work but after I left, all other flaws on the walls other than nail holes (and not even all of those) were just painted over. He refused to repaint a place I repaired that day where he had already painted, and I'm still going to have to go back and prep and repaint places. He was also supposed to paint the baseboards, and I told him I wanted them to be smooth on the top where they were rough with caulk. He said he would sand them. He only sanded them with one of those black sponges, not sandpaper or a belt sander, so they were still largely rough. He showed me a video his wife had taken of him “sanding” them as proof that he had done it. What good is a video if they are still rough? He then painted over the rough places. I didn’t see any of this until the end of the day when it was done. So I’m going to have to recaulk all the baseboards and repaint. When I complained about the prep work and baseboards he said those would have been an extra charge. Really? Extra on top of $1900 for one day’s work for him, one helper, and his wife (who wasn’t working all day as she had to deal with kids)? Considering that he probably paid his non-English speaking helper pretty frugally, that was quite a handsome fee for him and his wife for one day. Since he claimed he had done all the “painting” we agreed to, I went ahead and paid him. He may have been fair priced in 2016 but apparently now he thinks he can take advantage of people. Before he left he wanted to know if, other than the things I wasn't happy with, I was happy with the work. Um I guess! UPDATE: They installed 2 door knobs but only gave me one set of keys. I think that it is highly likely that have a set keys to my house. I now have to have my locks re-keyed to be sure that no one else has access to my house.

Miguel Perez and his crew did a very professional and efficient job painting the interior walls and baseboards of our home! They are honest, respectful, hard working and arrived on time daily and finished the work in @ 2 1/2 days. Perfect cleanup and made sure there were no spills or drops on the carpet & floors. Only took @ a 20-30 min break for lunch. They did a super job at a very reasonable cost! We will highly recommend them to all our friends & neighbors! Thank you MAP Painting for taking care of us!

The provider did a great job painting all the rooms and the crown molding looked great too. He was very professional and honest. He provided us with an estimate before he started the work. If we had questions, he had no problem answering them. The price was reasonable. We will definitely use him again and recommend him to others.
