<p>I was told that 2 crews would be on site to finish the job, due to the forecast of rain.  Only one  crew worked the following day.  The unfinished roof was left UNCOVERED resulting in water damage in the upstairs.  I was given a $200 credit for this damage.  Now I have loose shingles on the ridge cap.  I have called twice and left messages concerning this problem.  I have not gotten a call back to address this situation.</p>

Everything went according to plan.  He showed up when he said he would but with only two workers.  It turned out that was all he needed.  They did an excellent job and he added an accent that turned out to be very attractive.  When one of his workers accidently broke a piece of heavy plate glass used in a skylight he replaced it at his own cost.  They finished on time, in budget, and did a very good job.  I highly recommend Mr. Marchel's roofing services. <br />

Brad Marchel easy to work with, made the extra effort to get job done right. Pricing was close to low end of roofers I talked to and he's one of the few outfits to carry adequate insurance covering his crew. This is important so you don't get sued if they fall off your roof and get hurt.  Brad will be the first one I call when I need a roof on another house.

Mr. Marchel was a pleasure to work with.  He is a local provided that has been roofing for over 40 years.  He was personable and down to earth, a real pleasure to deal with.  My house is very old and in a part of town that is often neglected but he was very professional and a regular guy too.  It is not a large roof but there were a couple of leaks and he was prompt and made sure they were fixed.  He also rebuilt a skylight that was leaking and did a nice job with it.  The price included tearing off the old layer (only one) and then papering and putting on new shingles.  He gave me a choice of different shingles to use and I chose an asphalt architectural shingle for just a little more money than the standard asphalt shingle.  His workers were prompt and neat and completed the job in less than three days.  They did a very nice job.  I highly recommend Marchel Roofing.

Job Well Done.  Once they started, work was completed in a timely manor.  Also, followed up with registering product with manufacturer warranty.  Final bill was per quote.  Would use again.

It went well. Mr Marchel and his crew stripped two layers of shingles off the roof and replaced them with new. No sudden changes or problems. They were efficient, effective and priced well. Very happy with the results and so far, a year later, no calls from the new owner about any problems. Job well done.

At firs there were some issues with getting in touch with Brad, the owner. After several days after calling to inquire about my leaking roof, he called me back. Brad was out the next day to inspect the roof and advised me that it would not pass an inspection, due to our house being for sale I asked him for some estimates on several different options. It took about two weeks with a couple of phone calls to get the estimate. Once I confirmed with him that I wanted the new roof with repairs to the rotten wood his crew was out within two days and was done in a day and a half. My only complaint about the job was that there was quite a bit of trash left in the yard along with some cigarette butts. I also didn't ever receive a receipt for the work with the warranty. It appears to me that they did a good job and based on some conversations with a couple of general contractors I know, it seems like I got a reasonable price. I would hire this company again.

Mr. Marchel responded to my phone message promptly, returned a quote for new roof the same day (well, evening as he faxed it after leaving another job site). He gave me quote for the standard shingle and the architectural shingle as well. He put the quote in writing (another contractor just said how much it "should" run). He brought samples of shingles to my home for me to consider. Mr. Marchel got the work done when he said he would at the price he quoted (no surprises) with a lifetime warranty on the work that was transferrable to the new owner. He and his crew left a clean work area as well. No loose shingles on the ground, no damaged landscaping,broken windows or bent gutters. Marchel Roofing was recommended to me and it is a recommendation I will remember. I was very pleased with the courtesy I was afforded and with the actual roof as well.
