This was a truly atrocious job. We were told he would replace broken and cracked boards. Instead, he only used wood filler. They are still cracked and sagging. We were told he would refinish to match the rest of the floors. They don?t. But the bigger problems with the refinishing are 1) his hair is all over our floors stuck in the polyurethane 2) he did nothing to tape up our baseboards so wood stain is all over our baseboards and trim 3) it?s completely uneven and goopy, with excess puddling around every edge of the floor. Do not let this man near your hardwood.

Do not hire this individual for wood flooring services. As I browsed through the reviews, I can see a trend occurring here when it comes to wood floors services. I originally made a request through Angi (03/14/2026) and was immediately contacted my Marc, who advised that he would ?leave my floors shining like glass?. I agreed to hire him and give him a chance (03/20/2026) Marc showed me prior to service, his portfolio of polished floors that he serviced over the years. All of which, looked very nice. I have wooden floors in 3 bedrooms and a hallway that needed to be polished. Marc applied two coats of polyurethane. Once the product is freshly applied it shines and looks nice, just as the photos in his portfolio appeared. However, it?s not until the product dries that you see the true results. My floors looked patchy and dry. I contacted Marc and he stated that it needs another coating. Well he never returned to complete the job and ignores my calls.

Going to have to take this man to court. He refuses to return my key, and refuses to finish the job, he has now blocked my number, Run as fast as you can away from this wretched man.

We hired "Marc-My Word Floor Cleaning Services" to detail our son's car. Owner came to our house and was very professional, while arriving on time! He cleaned our car in our garage and was very well organized. When I Say Our Car Looks Brand New, It Definitely Looks Brand New Again"!!! We're So Pleased & Happy With An Amazing Job He's Done!!! Old wood floor in one room was to have scratches sanded out and then refinished to match other floors. Vendor promised scratches would be removed and refinished floor would uniformly match other floors in the house. Neither is the case.

Summary: I used Marc?s service and definitely would not recommend. He did my floor on March 8-9. The floor is still sticky in some spots 8 weeks later on May 2. Details: I found Marc on Angie?s List in Jan 2025. Checked his reviews. were good. But I was happy with how floor looked immediately after it was done. Starting a week after the job, I?ve texted him 5 times to check out the problem. He confirmed 5 times and has never showed and doesn?t follow up at all. I called him and he said he ?oh sorry, I was at your building the other day and I meant to knock on your door.? Turns out he revealed to me that the property manager hired him to work in four other units. based on my satisfaction with how the job looked the day it was completed. I just notified the prop mgr. He said he was having the same issue with sticky floors that never dry. Marc was chasing new money from the property manager but completely disregarding the original customer who found him. Very confusing.

I needed to get my carpet cleaned because the previous tenant at my apartment had a pet and there was a strong urine smell everywhere. nothing i did could fix it, but now it looks and smells great! the cleaning was done super quick and he was very nice. i would absolutely get his help again if i need it. :)

Have wanted to get floors brightened up for four years. Glad I found a service. Floors are glossy, shiny and the natural beauty of the wood pops. Looks great. Marc can do an in-home estimate and let you know up front if there are additional charges for things like filling natural knotholes or defects in the wood or for moving furniture.

Great service. Got the job done the day after he quoted me. Came out with an official grew and made sure to get every corner. Excited to see the results tomorrow.

They provided a verbal quote for $425 a written quote for $450 I texted him to inform him that the quote provided wasn?t the same as amount quoted in person I went ahead with the job and the floors were not sanded and I asked for a dark stain which was not done the floors are smeared he tried to get me to pay an additional $100 but I did not.
