Do not ever use this Property Management company. They were late to repair anything dealing with the house. Their repair costs were way above market as I found out later - assume they are putting an additional mark up on that as they never gave me receipts directly from the contractor despite asking for them multiple times. They do not get back to you when you have questions or concerns about the property and you have to call them multiple times to get any response. They persuaded me to take a lower than market rent in exchange for getting a two year lease with a tenant vs. a one year lease. They then let the tenant break the lease early without telling me so they did not really get me a two year lease even though they charged me a fee for a two year lease. When the tenant moved out, Marketplace never got them a lockbox to leave the keys in as they promised and instead on moveout day just told them to leave them sitting out somewhere. That is in no way safe for my property! I spoke with the President of Property Management for Marketplace, Nicholas Tucker, about all these issues and he had no answers, did not seem to care, said he would look into it, and never got back to me. Do not use this company!

Office staff is always available for help. No job is too small or too big. They are responsive to our needs for service requests from roofing to foundations. All aspects of home repairs have been done professionally and in a timely manner. I would recommend Marketplace Homes for all your property management needs regarding property repairs and maintenance.

Marketplace Homes has managed two residential rental properties for me, and everything has always been very easy. They coordinate showings, negotiated rent with tenants, and hired contractors as needed at each property. I would use them for any rental property I have in the future!

Used them to sell our old house while we were building a new one. They were recommended by the builder since we were given a guaranteed offer for our old house. I never met the people in person - all of the work was done over e-mail and the phone. I even offered to come to their office to meet them. The sign and lock box were sent to me via FedEx and I had to put them out. During the selling process, they would call me up demanding that we lowered the asking price for my house. They were really into trying to intimidate me to let them have full control of the process. When my house did sell, they didn't even show up for the closing. The buyer's agent and the title company were there and they both commented that Marketplace Homes never shows up. We had occupancy for a month after the closing, and even when we transferred the keys to the buyers we were told that the buyer's agent will do all the work. If you are looking for a company that will help you with selling your house, I cannot recommend Marketplace. We did all of the work while they sat somewhere. I still to this day do not know what my realtor looks like in real life.
