I've used them on a couple of occasions. It was just 1 person and it took about 4 hours and it was the main sewer drain and he left the area clean.

Very pleased with this first-time experience with Mark Masters General Contractors. The plumber, Seth Funkhouser, was prompt, courteous, listened patiently, discussed the possible problems, and explained the solution step-by-step. The sink/disposal and dishwasher are all performing perfectly. High confidence in this vendor. Now planning to consult with them about additional remodeling projects.

Amazing value! Incredible service! Top notch communications! I called Mark Masters at 3:30 PM and told them I had seen their disposal install special on Angie's List, and wanted to schedule their service. The appointment was scheduled for the next day between 10:00 AM and Noon. The next morning I received a text around 8:00 AM from Mark stating that an earlier appointment had cancelled and asking if they could come earlier. I said yes, the plumber (Seth) was at my house within 15 minutes, and the install was complete in about 30 minutes. Seth was clean cut and polite, the kind of guy you'd trust around your grandmother. No kidding. I plan on using Mark Masters Service Co. for all my future plumbing needs. I know this sounds like a commercial, it's not. They're just that good.

With the camera work they found a broken pipe underground and presented me a repair plan. I decided not to proceed with them since the repair cost is too much. I was going to get a second opinion from other plumbers.?Mark Masters service?required payment at the time of service and I paid. All the work was done professionally and the crew was nice and good at their work. Only thing I am complaining about?is that Chris never sent me an invoice even if I requested several times.

The provided services were outstanding and very thorough. I can not recommend these guys enough! I had called multiple plumbing companies and received inadequate customer service. I finally came across Mark Masters. From the first phone call, Mark Masters Home Services was on the job immediately to scope out the work and provide an extremely competitive estimate. They explained multiple options and the pro's and con's of each path. After deciding how we wanted to proceed, they then returned promptly to perform the rough-in work, which included adding water lines and relocating a drain line. The rough-in work was completed within about a day and they left the area very clean. After the cabinets, counter tops, and kitchen sink were installed, they returned within a day or two of my phone call to complete the plumbing finish work. This included hooking up a refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchen sink, tankless water heater, and filtration system for our coffee maker. The neatness of the install is something to complement, as you can tell no shortcuts were taken to finish the job any sooner. Several of my colleagues have been commenting on how well the lines were run and the quality of the parts used. I am extremely happy with our new kitchen/break room and this experience has made it that much better.

I can't say enough good things about these people! I had a leaky bathroom faucet. Two weeks ago I had another plumbing company who was also highly rated on Angie's List and who I have used many times in the past (but never again) look at the problem. The technician from that company said I needed to replace the faucet. They were going to charge me $250.00 for the replacement faucet plus $229.00 for the labor to install it. Since the faucet had been discontinued I was going to have to replace the other faucet in the other sink as well so it would match. This was going to cost me $958.00. I wanted a second opinion so I called Mark Masters Service Company that I also found on Angie's List. Seth, the technician was a very nice young man. He showed up right on time. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem as simply being a bad rubber washer that needed replacement. I did not need to replace the faucet after all. I was only charged the minimum $79.00 service charge. Mark Masters company saved me $879.00 ! By the way, the other company also charged me $79.00 for their service call which was totally worthless.

Used list coupon for replacement of bathroom sink faucet. Received Angie's List response saying that we would be contacted "soon" After three days, had not been contacted by contractor, so we called. They returned our call within ten minutes and said they had been having problems with being contacted by Angie's List. and scheduled the service for first thing the following morning. Upon arrival and inspection, the plumber said both shutoff valves needed to be replaced as well for an additional charge of $75. This was not a surprise to us, and we had purchased replacement valves already. We believed the additional repair was needed and the cost was reasonable. Replacement was performed in a professional manner, cleanup performed and repair tested. Would use again.

The provider arrived on time for the appointment. He seemed to have a good understanding of what it would take to replace the pipe. He took the pipe which was leaking because he needed to find out which company makes it in order to replace it. He said this would take less than a week - it would then be ordered and he would return to install the new part. The cost for the repair apparently could not be estimated at that time because "it will depend on how hard it is to find the replacement pipe." That sounded a bit sketchy since it shouldn't cost more or less to find the replacement, but only for the service itself. Either way - he took the part with him. One week later when I hadn't heard anything, I contacted Mark via text to ask for an update. He said "I'll find out and let you know." No response and another week goes by. I called Mark and leave him a voicemail explaining that it has now been two weeks and I don't even know if you found the part. What's going on? Mark doesn't even have the decency to call me back - he texts me saying "many apologies - the delay is my fault - I will have some information for you today and we will return to install the part - again many apologies but I will stay on top of things." Sounds good, right? I assumed that maybe he was just very busy. The following day I received an email from him with a link to the part that he was going to order. It was the same color, but it wasn't the same set-up - so the hot water pipes would look different from the cold water pipes. I called him and explained that this was the wrong part. He said he would get with the plumber who actually came out to my house to look at the pictures he took then try to find the exact match. He told me to take pictures of the setup just in case the other plumber didn't get pictures but he would let me know if he needed them. That was two and a half weeks ago. I contacted him Friday and asked that the part they took be returned so that I can find someone else to fix it. I went only and found the part within about 5 minutes googling "oil rubbed bronze tub filler."
This company may not need more work. I don't doubt that all the positive feedback was real, but that may have been when they had time to focus on the each and every customer. This job just not on Mark's radar. Either way, it's poor customer service. Thank goodness I didn't have to pay anything up front or I would have lost that money all together. Now....I've gotta figure out how to get this pipe back in place.

There was other work I wanted done but the technician didn't know how to do it. So he came back the next day with another guy. They replaced the 3/8 inch shut off valves with 1/4 turn valves which caused a severe water hammer problem. They charged me $410 for this. They also left the outside faucet on. It ran for 4 hours before a neighbor told me about it. I did not allow them to do any other work. I replaced the 1/4 turn shut off valves with 3/8 inch screw type valves which were like the originals. The water hammer problem is gone now.

Purchased deal for toilet rebuild 3/27 Sunday pm. Website issues slowed things. I called the office Monday Am and they were able to send someone Tuesday Am to fix things. Previously noted leak looks like fixed. The provider mentioned that they would extend warranty for Angie's list customers. Impressed with their timeliness, efficiency and honesty/ fair price.

Will be sure to use their services as needed.

Couple days later, I got a phone call from the owner to follow up on things.

Was extremely impressed with this company. Everyone was polite, prompt, efficient and more than fair.
Did not have bathtub faucet on original repair request, so service man went to Home Depot to get me a new disposal AND a new faucet and was very fast and efficient with his work, and gave me a better price than I imagined which included BOTH items.
I will use them from now on for any plumbing need I have in the future. GREAT COMPANY!!!
Sharon Langston
