Mark Rodgers and his crew were beyond excellent at every step of the process, from the estimate, to scheduling, digging up our old driveway and then pouring and finishing our new one! Communication was easy and thorough throughout the process. Mark is a kind man, and patient with any question at all. He does quality work, cares about the details, and he doesn’t cut corners. Not only is our new driveway beautiful, but he cleaned up everything when they were finished! I highly recommend Mark Rodgers Construction!! You will not be disappointed!

Mark came over to estimate and was very thorough, going over all my needs and wants. When he and his team came to do the job, they were professional and friendly. They took out concrete pavers, dismantled a rock/cement firepit, and put in gravel for a shed bed. They installed a beautiful, concrete circular patio and installed re-purposed flagstone as a walkway. They did a great job and it was done in less than two days. I'm looking forward to them installing a driveway in the spring.

From start to finish Mark Rodgers Construction did a fantastic job replacing my driveway and service walk. Anne in the office is very friendly and has great customer service that goes above and beyond. She was very helpful answering all my questions. Mark is very knowledgeable, professional, and he gave me a lot of creative ideas on how to do my driveway and service walk. He really cares about each customer that he has. Mark and his crew are hardworking, polite, and were always on time. After my driveway was done they cleaned up everything and they even put back the items they had to move to do the driveway (landscaping, etc.) That was a very nice touch, I was so appreciative that they did that. The concrete driveway and service walk were beautifully done. Mark and his crew make artwork out of their concrete jobs. If you need concrete work done, give them a call they will appreciate your business as much as you will appreciate their final product. I have had multiple neighbors admiring their work on my driveway and walk. I will be a repeat customer for sure!

When I decided to replace my driveway this year, the first step I took was to look into what is a good driveway. The Ohio Concrete Assoc. (OCA) publishes a pamphlet: “Guidelines for Durable Concrete” which sets the best practices for a quality driveway in Ohio. Mark Rodgers Construction (MRC) had replaced a driveway 15 years ago and some recent work for a new porch for a neighbor of mine. Both looked good, even the driveway from 15 years ago so I contacted Mark Rodgers. Mark Rodgers explained the best way to do things from his experience and best practices which also corresponded with the OCA recommendations. When his crew showed up, they were polite, hard working, and professional and the work was done the way he had explained to me. He also gave me recommendations on the curing process and sealing to keep the driveway looking good. In the end I got a very good looking driveway which meets my needs and is done according to best practices. I highly recommend MRC.

Mark Rodgers Construction recently replaced a deteriorating, long gravel pathway along the side of our house with a beautiful concrete sidewalk. The old pathway had a steep incline, making it difficult to navigate in winter. The new sidewalk includes a series of steps so that the incline is barely noticeable. Mark’s years of experience, professional knowledge & deep concern for customer satisfaction is uncommon and most appreciated. The three-man crew (Chase, David & Shane) worked nonstop on each visit; they were professional, punctual, polite, and did an excellent job. We couldn’t ask for a better job and highly recommend this wonderful company!

Chase and Jared arrived promptly at 9:30 am and worked for quite a while breaking up and digging out the old concrete. They took a break to obtain the supplies needed to finish the job then spent several more hours in the hot sun putting in the new step and concrete next to the driveway. They did superior work, answered all my questions and were very pleasant to work with. We have used this company before and knew that they do an excellent job. Mark Rodgers himself had already come out to give us an estimate. His wife, Anne, kept in touch regularly with emails and texts to update us on the possible date for the work. I would definitely recommend this company to others needing concrete work.

We were very blessed that Mark Rodgers Construction was able to come out more than a month earlier than was estimated and take out our old sunken and cracked front walkway and install a new one. Mark and his crew arrived exactly on time and he and the men in his crew were not only hard working but professional, very polite and never once did they utter a curse word. Sounds silly or unimportant to some people I'm sure, but it was refreshing to see and hear. No more drainage issue and bailing out rain water !

I contacted them via email requesting a quote. I received a prompt response and they worked around my schedule for the appointment for an estimate. They were very upfront that it could be 8-12 weeks before they could get me on the schedule. However Mark was able to fit my job in and it was completed within 30 days of signing the contract. Mark was great to work with and he always kept me up to date on what was happening when and would tell me when schedules changed. The area where the parking pad was put had a slight slope but mark made sure the pad was level. I am very happy with his work.

Mark and his wife were very responsive in communication and very punctual to every appointment. He listened to what I was looking for and details about the location. He made suggestions to mitigate the occasional standing water in the location as well as answering or directing my questions about zoning and positioning in the yard. Since our job was small, he was able to fit it in between other jobs and get it done very quickly. Mark was on site during the work and his crew was very polite and professional. Highly Recommend.

We had Mr. Rodgers install a concrete driveway in May of 2016. Mark recommended we have it sealed and suggested E&H Pressure washing service (now out of business) to do the work. Wanting to protect our investment, we hired them to come out the following week. After about two years the apron is starting to flake. Our neighbor's 20 year old driveways look better than our. We reached out to Mr. Rodgers to figure out what we could do to rectify this situation. He wasn't about to do anything to help us. He didn't even come out to see his substandard work. I want contractors that know what they are doing and when they recommend someone they are not a fly by night outfit. VERY DISSAPOINTED!

"We're sorry that the use of a referral didn't work out. We acknowledge that we didn't really know this company well, but we were trying to help, as this company came by referral to us from a concrete supplier. However, we stand behind our product and services, but we can't stand behind another contractor's product or service. We provided an excellent product and service, but the photos the customer provided did not warrant a service call at this time, as it was obvious the problem was salt damage, and not a result of our services. We are in the process of dealing with a son who has facial cancer and is undergoing massive surgery on Thursday. Mark did call and discuss the situation immediately upon receiving their e-mail, but Mark's time and focus are limited in responding to all calls and/or site visits at this time."
