We had a leak in one of our bathrooms on the second floor of our home. The wood floors of two bedrooms were completely damaged. We started looking for a company to take care of this problem and we came across Martinez Wood Floors. What a great work they did! They came on the same day to provide us with an estimate. Their prices were excellent. By Saturday they were already working in our house. They had to remove all that flooring and install new one. By the way, we purchased the Oak floor with them, good prices and had the material on the following day. The employees are honest and hardworking. Very agreeable with anything you might ask. While they were working on the old floor, we had the new wood acclimating under AC, for what the owner told us, this is a very important step if you are going to install new hardwood floor. The installation itself was fast. They were precise and also put our new baseboards. We decided to add the refinishing at the last minute, just to change the color and decor of the bedrooms. We did it to all rooms, and OMG they look beautiful. Wonderful work with exquisite taste. Worth hiring this company

We love Martinez Wood Floors for the excellent work and customer service they gave us. We hired them to replace the laminate floor of the house with bamboo. They took care of everything. Brought us samples of bamboos for us to choose from and explained us the differences between one and another. Their prices are also great, they are not cheap but they are not the most expensive either. Good professionals with a fabulous work ethic. More than recommended.

When we bought our house, we immediately wanted to do a full remodel to change pretty much everything. Something that I didn't like at all was the wood floor it had. They looked like they had not been touched in years , all scratched and worn. My husband and I started to look for a professional company to do the job. We came across Martinez Wood Floors because they were working on the neighborhood, so we asked them for a card, did some research online, and gave them a call. Professionals from head to toe, they arrived the day of the estimate. They told us that the floor we had was very good quality and that they could restore its beauty with a process, so we didn't have to change the entire floor. Save a lot of money there. To be honest, I was not convinced at the beginning because I wanted another color, but I agreed. The process was incredible fast and clean. Took about a week to have them done. I do not not anything about the middle, but floors came out fruitful. I never thought they could look like that. Amazing, I just love them so much now. We are in love with our wood floors, and thanks to this company we saved money and have the floor of our dreams. Forever grateful, happy customers.

I just finished a project with Martinez and they are amazing. They took care of everything; From helping us to select the wood till the installation of the entire floor. We have wanted to remodel our home for the longest time and we finally went for it. The floor was the last element to be changed and we went for the always classic and beautiful wood floor. We wanted to get the best material and company in the market to do this project for us, and that's why we chose these guys. They have vast experience on their field, and to top it off, they are honest, professional, and very nice. They made the difference since we spoke to the owner on the phone. Not a lot of people on the construction business are educated and with good presence, let's be honest. But all the employees of Martinez are. We went to their office to choose the wood flooring. Gorgeous materials there and several option to choose from. We selected an European Oak, engineered floor, natural color. Beautiful look, amazing for kids, and will withstand humidity over time. The price was also good for the quality. The shipment was fast, around a week. They also acclimated it for us. In the mean time, they started the demo of the old tile flooring. This is a little bit disturbing, but it's not their fault. They try to be as clean and organized as possible. But, it's a messy process no matter what. When the wood was ready, they started the installation. We stayed at a hotel, took advantage to get a short vacation, but my husband would go almost every afternoon to supervise and see the advancement. The owner was always very nice with us and gave us the update on everything. The project was completed in 10 days more or less. We also order new baseboards with them, more modern, and they look great with the new floor. Floors are an illusion to the eyes. Very beautiful. Beyond happy with our new floor and would be using this company again to install a wall in our new bathroom, once is done of course. High five for Martinez Wood Floors, the best in Miami.

We are very pleased with our experience with this company. They did a wonderful job installing new floors in our home. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable, always willing to guide customer towards the right direction. When we started shopping for wood floors, we did not know what we wanted. We researched online to see the difference between the type of wood floors and visited different stores. What I liked about Martinez was that the owner took the time to explain us in detail the difference between engineered and solid hardwood floors, gave us the space to deliberate which one we wanted, and didn't push for the sale. We ended up choosing a solid oak floor. Beautiful material and for a great price. It took about a week to get the wood and then acclimate it for a another week, I think. When it was ready, they began the installation, which included a staircase as well. They are very honest and respectful people. You can talk to the owner about your worries and we would answer you as soon as I can. They started installing the floor and worked fast, clean, and organized. When it comes to payment, they required a deposit to buy all the materials, (wood has to be paid in total) to order it, and when they are finished, you revise and approve the job to pay the rest. We are very meticulous when it comes to everything, I can recommend this company. The floors turned out beautiful, after the installation we decided to stain it to change the color, great decision. Oh boy our wood floors look amazing. I am rating this company 5 stars because there's no 10. Highly recommended folks

I called Martinez flooring and other wood floor companies after I discovered red oak underneath tile. The flooring is about 70 years old and I wasn’t sure if it could be salvaged after removing a layer of tile and Durock cement boards that were nailed down to the floor. Hector came out for a quote and was knowledgeable and provided a fair price so I decided to hire them. First step was to order the new wood and allow for acclimation. This took a bit longer than expected but after a couple of weeks the wood was in my house acclimating. In the meantime, there were a few days that team members would show up to prep the floor such as remove nails, replace damaged boards, etc. Once the wood had acclimated, the new wood was installed and the process began. They sanded it down, did repairs, filled holes, etc. The team even worked on the weekend in order to meet the set timeline. I finally got to sample stains and the team was helping in providing various samples for me to choose from - I went with Dark Walnut and it looks great! Once the floors were stained they sealed and put final coat. Floors turned out great! Communication and punctuality was a bit of an issue but overall these guys know what they’re doing and I love my new floors. I would definitely recommend and hire again. Hoping to use them for baseboards as well.

We hired Martinez to restore our floors and staircase. They are professional and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to wood floors. Honest man and will charge you what he needs to do a good job. I have been on the construction industry for a few a years now, I know what to look for in a company when I am doing a remodeling. I can tell you that Mr. Martinez answered every single one of the questions I threw at him with concrete answers, demonstrating his knowledge and experience. He was on time to provide the estimate and took his time to go over the floors in detail. Fellow homeowners need to pay attention to this, if a contractor takes the time to explain you things and review the job with you, it's a good sign. I also have to say that this was the third company we asked an estimate from. The first company wanted to replaced the whole floor, which I knew it was a rip off. The second one gave us an insane price like if money was grown on trees. However, Martinez was very reasonable in price and what we like was that since the first time he saw the project, he told us that the floor will look like new with a hard sanding. We moved everything out of the house, my suggestion is to hire a moving company, that way you make sure your furniture and belongings are well take care of. The crew is also very nice and respectful, will pay attention to detail, and will clean after they finish. The sanding is the worst part, but it's not something you can't tolerate; they have machines that make little dust, trust me, we stayed in the house and my wife is allergic to everything. When that part is done, everything else is a breeze. At the beginning, we were going to leave it natural, but my wife decided she wanted to stain the floor. So we chose and Ebony color, very gorgeous. We really like it a lot. The job took around 7 days to be completed and the floor really look amazing. We are very content with our new-looking hardwood flooring and we really appreciate everything Martinez floor did to make it happen. We'll be referring them to friend and family for sure.

I had a delightful experience with this company. I bought the wood from them and they also did the installation. Very pleased with the bundle and the price I got. They gave me several choices to choose from, and I ended up selecting an oak flooring, very thick, gorgeous wood. Price was reasonable and like I said, they gave us a discount for doing the installation with them as well. Their work is very professional. The employees are constantly working and making sure they advance the work. Hector was always supervising and calling me to see if I was satisfied with the floor. I also liked the fact that they are fast, they only took around 10 days to install the entire house. I stayed in the property all the time and I can say they are clean and organize, so you won't have a problem with this. However, keep in mind it's a remodeling project, so you will have some dirt, but nothing you cannot deal with. I also bought the baseboards because the old ones did not make justice to the new floor; I highly recommend to get new baseboards if you are putting new floors. I am very happy with my wood floors and I would recommend Martinez without a hesitating to do hardwood floors.

Honest company and excellent professionals. We were doing some remodeling in our house and left the floors for last because we didn't know if we were going to change or just repair them. We started calling companies to get their opinions and see the prices until we found these guys. When they came to the estimate, they were explicit and very correct. They gave us a bunch of ideas of how to address the problem with the floors without having to spend too much money. To make the story short, they did a refinishing and the floors look brand new. We didn't believe it when we got back to the house. We went on vacation during that week of work, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Hector and his dad took care of everything. By the time we came back the house was ready to receive visitors. And then, my wife decided that she wanted to install wood in the ceiling. At that time Hector helped us find the right wood and took the job without hesitation. We appreciated this very much because they were fully booked for those days and he accommodated us and did a wonderful job. The level of craftsmanship and quality of Martinez is unique. We love our wood floors but the ceiling is simply fantastic. We are very please with the experience with this company. Our wood floors have never looked better, and everything is because of the exquisite service of Martinez Wood Floors. When we called them to ask for an estimate, we were frustrated because we had already asked for several quotes and they were either very expensive or you could tell the contractor had no experience. But, when we talked to Mr. Martinez in person we knew that we had found the right person for the job. They sent out the estimate with the numbers that same day in the afternoon and began work two days after. Polite and honest employees, so you won't have to worry about who is working in your house. The owner always answered our calls and was very constant explaining every step of the process. When they were doing the bedrooms, they found that the basement floor was rotten, so we had to replace that whole room with new wood. They provided the wood floors for us at a great price, so they are also good on that. After approximately a week of work, everything was finished and omg, what a change. I never thought that the floors were going to come out that good; they did magic. Very much recommended for future hardwood flooring projects. Oh and they even left me a courtesy cleaning kit. They are the best!

I usually don't post reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience with this company. We decided to invest some money on restoring our wood floors. We were looking efficiency, professionalism, and a good price, of course. Martinez Wood Floors gave us everything we were looking for. They are very good on communicating with their customers and make hardwood floors look great. We did a natural refinishing and the staircase. Very fine workmanship, my respects. It was a 5 days job because I decided to replace the baseboards later. It wasn’t fair having wood floors that looked so good with those old baseboards. They helped me chose the style of this as well. Back to the project, I was honestly surprised because I thought it was going to be messier but not at all. They use top notch tools and products that don’t even smell. Minimal dust and they leave things clean at the end of the day. Stayed in the property all times. They are organized, and they will try their best to accommodate your needs. My floors look beautiful, I’ve got a lot of compliments during this holiday and I wish I could have done it sooner. I have nothing but respect for this company. They know what they are doing, and they do it right.

They were punctual on the estimate. They explained us that they could restore the floors with a refinishing, which was completely unknown for us. The owner explained the process in detail, we really liked that. They started working the following week, a very responsible crew that moved all the furniture and everything that needed to be out, this was extra charge, but it was still a lot cheaper than a moving company. We decided to be away of the property because we are old and did not want to be dealing with everything that comes with remodeling a house. The owner called us very often to give us updates and send us pictures of the project. They worked very fast and in less than a week the floor was looking magnificent. We really liked it and we were impress with the quality of their work; it was like if we had installed a new floor. We would like to recommend Martinez Wood Floors to friends and family and we will use them again in a future.

During the estimate we did a walkthrough the house with the onwer to explain him what we wanted and needed during the process. He was very patient, listend to our needs and answered all our questions. The first day of work the crew was on time and worked all day long. Honest and hardworking employees, must say. The bottom line is that they were able to fix our old floor and now we get a lot of compliments. We sure are recommending Martinez to friends and family because they are the best.

Martinez Wood Floors was AMAZING. Hector, the owner, personally came to the initial inspection/estimate and throughout the entire time was accessible, professional and responsive. I shopped and compared various prices and Hector was very affordable in comparison to the rest of the companies i interviewed. AND his work is INCREDIBLE. My floors, despite being 70 years old, LOOK NEW! Certain planks that had to be removed and replaced due to stain or deterioration were done with exacting precision and match the existing floor. I was amazed by the level of craftsmanship and expertise exercised by all of Hector's team. They are truly artists. I have recommended them to various friends because of the high quality of work they delivered. I would use them again anytime for any of my wood floor needs. Simply awesome.

I had them replace old staircase with beautiful oak steps. I was impressed with the attention to detail and their ensuring that I was satisfied with the quality of the work every step of the way (no pun intended). Even though it was a relatively small project compared to some of their others, they always took pride in making sure the quality was excellent, I would recommend them highly. It's made a huge difference in my apartment.

We spoke on the phone to set up an estimate, but I had to reeschuled it because I got tied up at work. I just had to talked to Hector, who said there was not a problem and agreed to pass by on the following day. They arrived early to the estimate and seemed very prepared; that's what my husband and I wanted it, experience. The job consisted on refinishing with stain 1700 sqf of Walnut, which they completed in 5 days. We stayed home during the remodeling and were not bothered by the dust. They covered everything with plastic bags, used machines that leave almost no dust, and on top of that vacuum before leaving. They work very fast and organized and we loved their attention to detail. By the time we realized it, they were applying the stain. They were very helpful applying several types of stain samples to choose from. The wood floors look awesome and we are very happy with it. If you want quality and affordability, these are your men.

They arrived early in the morning with all the tools ready to stat working. They covered the Ac unit and started by the bedrooms. The sanding was very fast, by the time we realized it they were already applying the sealer. I also wanted to say that the owner was always easy to reach. Sent everything on time and finished the job when they said they would. They restored the grace of the wood floors, I really like it. So, if you are looking for a hardwood flooring company, look no more! Martinez Wood Floors is the right choice to deal with wood.

Perfect service and professional.

At first, we thought that they were just going to repair the existing wood floor, but after talking to the owner, he said that there was a room that had to be replaced entirely because the planks were in very bad conditions. They got us a great price on the new Oak floor and store it in their warehouse until it was ready to be installed. We thought the process was going to be messy but it was not! They handled everything very carefully, protected our furniture, and vacuumed the area after they sanded the floors, which is pretty much the hardest part. We did a natural refinishing, no color change because we love the natural look of our White Oak Floor. It’s has been amazing to hear all the compliments our floors get from friends and family. Wonderful people to work with. Very friendly and affordable.

The repair took 3 days,very fast right? They moved out and in all theurniture at an additional cost that was less than the price that a moving company would charge. The floors were restored and look amazing. We Santo do the rest of the house as soon as we can. I recommend this company for their professionalism and amazing service.

They came prepared with all the tools they needed since the first day. The owner was constantly supervising the job and talking to us to make sure everything was according to what we had talked about. It is a job that requires a lot of attention to details and even more if you decide to stain the floors to change the color. Once they sanded the floor, everything else was fast and easy. As homeowners, we care about the products used in our home, so we felt very good with the fact that all the products that this company uses are environmental friendly and not harmful to humans. Their work on the doors and frame show a high level of expertise. The quality of their work is absolute perfection. Hardwood floors never looked better.
