Mason Man

Absolutely wonderful. Being in front, my neighbors see it every day and love it. I have referred at least 3 clients to The Mason Man.

The crew was a bit sloppy when Joe wasn't around, but he had them return to re-do a few places and clean off areas where the concrete/mortar should not have been placed. There wasn't anything than couldn't be fixed.

Very well, crew showed up on time, did what was asked of them and we are very pleased with the final product.

Jaye Stark came personally twice to supervise a crew of 4 people. The work was done as scheduled, with attention to detail in meeting my requirements. While waiting for the cement to cure, the crew was also helpful in doing a couple of small jobs which Jay authorized them to do. The company exceeded my expectations and I am pleased that Angie's List reviews were instrumental in my hiring decision. Will hire them again, if the need arises.

in spite of the rainy season, we were able to schedule it in a timely manner. it was done beautifully without tearing up the sod around it.

At the beginning, there was a problem when Mason Man's estimator cancelled my appointment a few minutes before he was to arrive. Since I was in a hurry to repair the sidewalk at my lease house, I requested that another person come out the same day. Mason Man sent another representative to meet with me on the same day, and they were able to schedule the work just a few days later. The crew even stopped to purchase donuts for me when they realized they were running late to my job. The sidewalk repair & other masonry work looks great.

We had water intrusion and needed the job done quickly. Jaye's team showed up a day after the contract was signed and worked quickly without sacrificing quality or destroying the house. His team worked well with the other trades, were accommodating and got the job done well. Much appreciated.

Jaye was very prompt and responsive to all texts and calls. He even came back personally to repair missed caulking I noticed later after we had paid him in full for the job. That really impressed me, he values his reputation and makes sure customers are fully satisfied. Really appreciative of the good work. Thank you, Jaye!

All the work done by Jaye Stark and his crews was excellent. In spite of the local heavy rains and flooding in May, he completed the work close to on time. Most important, where the heavy rains resulted in damage to some of the work he performed, Jaye came out quickly to repair the damage. I recommend him to anyone needed masonry work.

Matt came out gave us a quote and scheduled our job. Work was completed as promised. The office even followed up after it rained to make sure there were no more leaks. Very happy with the work done.

<p>Our neighborhood had applied for a Neighborhood Partnering Program grant from the City of Austin Public Works Department, a program that supports community initiated projects with matching funds from the community.  After hearing our story, owner Jaye Stark offered an in-kind donation for the labor on the project.  Because this is a cost sharing program, the $3600 value attached to the labor both decreased the total cost of the project AND counted toward our match.  Mason Man's contribution helped us to win the grant!</p> <p>Since everything with the City seems to take a really long time, Jaye has been super patient with the delays, but once we got the green light, he was able to get us on his schedule fairly quickly.  His guys really did great work and paid close attention to detail with the pattern and color of the natural stone.</p> <p>I highly recommend Mason Man for any masonry/stone work!  They are good people and do great work!</p>

The process of working with Mason Man went smoothly from the point of first contact through completion of the project. Courtney contacted me within an hour or two of my requesting a quote via their website. Jaye provided an estimate for the job using pictures sent via email, and was able to provide a great design suggestion when we asked for a last minute addition to the job. All of the communication was prompt, the estimate was reasonable and met, and the work was performed within the timeframe provided. Jaye's workers were prompt, they did a great job prepping the space to minimize mess in my living space, and did a great job of cleaning up when the job was complete, both indoors and out. His crew seemed to have a good rapport with him which always puts me at ease, and both he and his crew seemed to take genuine pride in their work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mason Man to friends and neighbors in the future. Very pleased with the outcome of the project, especially since they were essentially extending a project that another company previously installed. <br />
