Our technician was very attentive to our schedule needs and worked to get in and out in order for us to get to where we needed to for another appointment. Our microwave was a pain, but he was kind and handled the job with grace. He even taught my son and I a lot about the inner workings of a microwave. He left us with advice as to seeking an electrician to place the microwave on its own breaker to prevent further fuse burnout. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Excellent service from Masterminds on our LG washer. They added me into their schedule at the last minute, and then James was able to diagnose the problem right away. Very knowlegeable, friendly and efficient. James took the time to show me where the feeder hose had developed a tear, really appreciate that. Will absolutely call them again!

Amazing! As I mentioned, this was the third person to come out to try to figure out what was leaking. He was extremely thorough and tested a number of different things to make sure that was the exact issue. They then moved my appliances, and both times were extremely careful as I had just had new floors. I can't say enough good things about the service. These are smart, extremely knowledgeable individuals, with exceptional professionalism and customer service.

I called Masterminds of Appliances at 10am explained my problem and since their technician JP happened to be in the area. JP arrived at 130 pm and fixed the problem. I have used Masterminds in the past and had the same outstanding experience. I would highly recommend Masterminds for any appliance needs.

The service appointment was between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. When the service person did not arrived between 4-5 p.m. I contacted the office number. The service person called me to say that because of traffic and the fact that he was on another service call he would not arrive until 7 p.m. Because I wanted my dryer repaired I told him that would be fine. At 7:45 p.m. the service person had not arrive and did not phone me. I once again phoned the office and the service person. He called back with a tone that seemed to suggest that I might decline the service request since it was so late. Again I asked him to come out because I was willing to pay for my item to be repaired. He arrived after 8 p.m. diagnosed the problem but said that out of the three items that needed repair he could not fix one because he did not have parts even though the model number was provided during the request for service. One would think they would have stocked some supplies. The final estimate was more than the cost of the unit. $85 or service call.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We are aware that on the date of your service appointment, the technician who was assigned to be at your residence between 12-6 PM, unfortunately was running behind schedule due to a couple of prior jobs which took longer than normal due to weather and traffic. We are not making any excuses about his late arrival but our technician contacted you, letting you know that he was running a little behind schedule and that although it was a little after hours, he would make sure that he got to you to service your appliance. Unfortunately when technician finally arrived it was about 7:50 PM. He then greeted you and apologized about his late arrival and asked you if you [Member Information Removed] wanted him to service your appliance, which at that point, you said that you understood and to come in. Technician began diagnostic and after about 30-45 minutes, he found that your [Member Information Removed] had a broken heater, a worn belt and a bad fuse. At that point, the technician even showed you what was wrong with your appliance and informed you that we do not stock parts for your portable Haier [Member Information Removed] due to your unit not being a common appliance. And besides, the parts you needed are not commonly used parts and would have to be specially ordered thru the manufacturer. The technician also informed you that you would receive a phone call the following business day with a full written [Member Information Removed] of repair and that you would have 30 days to approve your [Member Information Removed]. You asked the technician why no one wanted to service your [Member Information Removed] and also informed him that every other company you contacted refused to provide service to your portable [Member Information Removed]. He then explained to you that our company is factory-authorized to service all Haier products. However, small portable dryers require specialized training and can be very time-consuming and tedious to repair. We at Masterminds of Appliances train our techs and staff to always be honest, respectful, nice and professional to all customers and to inform them if repair costs exceeds more than 60% of the cost of the original purchase price and of course depending on age and condition of unit that we recommend buying a new unit. Just a friendly reminder, we do offer discounts and have coupons on our website. The written [Member Information Removed] that was given to you was not only a competitive fair price for all 3 parts that were needed, but also came from the Original Blue Book Major Appliance Job Rate Guide which was designed for service companies within the industry. And finally, we are not sure why you are upset and would leave multiple bad reviews about our company, especially even after the fact that no other service company wanted to service your Haier portable [Member Information Removed]. We are saddened about your experience with our company and of course, this bad review. We appreciate your business!"

<p>JP from Masterminds came out on a Saturday to fix my LG refrigerator. He was so nice and professional.  He fixed the problem with my refrigerator and even fixed the door handle when he noticed it was loose.  I was very pleased with his work and will definitely call this company again for any future repairs.</p>

Set up service through LG - WHAT A NIGHTMARE going through them.  All I have to say about LG is that you Must call the servicer to make sure that LG actually contacted them.  My repairs were delayed by about a month because I would wait for the servicer to call me only to find out that LG never contacted the servicer.  Nightmarish. <br /> Unfortunately, Masterminds is crazy booked.  2 week wait for an open spot.  Luckily, they followed through, and were also able to accommodate coming out for the latest appointment time possible.  The tech, JP, also gave me a courtesy call to let me know that he was on his way.  On the other hand, he said he would be here in 30 minutes; but didn't get here until an hour later.  That's Houston traffic for you, I suppose.  And that's just me being nit-picky.  I wasn't busy doing anything else anyway. <br /> I lead him to the washer and then about 45 minutes or so later, he was all done.  Gave me the right-up and he was on his way.   <br /> JP is really a nice guy.  Wow.  As a businessman who has been looking for good help, Masterminds got a good one with him.  He really is good with customers.  Very polite and friendly.  Didn't leave a mess.  And he tested the machine before leaving.  Luckily, I have a 5 year warranty on my washer so...  if given the option, I would choose them again. <br />
