Completed the job in a timely manner with complete professional. Would recommend to anyone needing work or help completing a project.

I had a sunroom installed which I am very pleased with. The overall work performed was great. My project included electrical work, which I thought would have been done by a certified electrician. Jerry decided not to have an electrician come out but instead, had a handyman install my electrical work I had an outlet installed, well the only way the outlet works is to have the power to the ceiling fan on. An electrican would have known what to do. Speaking of ceiling fan(s), I had an electrican come out and find out why the dimmer switch I had installed control both the lights and new ceiling fan. I was informed a three-wire cable was needed versus the two-wire cable installed by the handyman. I was informed by the foreman on several occasions that he would get with Jerry Matice and see about sending an electrican out to rectify my situation. Jerry decided to send a non-electican out which did not fix my problem...but still asked for the final payment.

On September 26, 2025 we signed a contract with your company to build a 900 square foot addition to the existing home in Athens, Alabama. Construction began and things progressed in a standard way, with the usual delays due to weather and scheduling contractors, etc. The contract required a price of $204,000.00. Additional costs for added concrete of $5000.00 and additional siding choices and other facia/gutter enhancements for both properties added and additional $22,000.00. All of these costs were completely paid to Matice Home Maintenance through your project manager who was your representative on the project. The project manager promised the following items, and Jerry Matice confirmed them. However, they remain unfinished. We are pleased with most of the existing work, but outstanding issues still need to be addressed. We have called, written, and pleaded with Matice to finish the job. but have received no response. I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

Unlike most contractors, Jerry (owner) replied to my initial inquiry promptly, and his communication throughout the process was timely. His "right hand man," Fred, was easy to work with, explained their work when I had questions, and kept the project on track from day one. If you're looking for skilled, courteous professionals whose charges are reasonable, I can't imagine a better contractor to put your trust in.
